On my plants I used captain jacks dead bug brew, than the next day I used neem oil and used neem every 3 days until they are gone has always worked. I think we really have to keep at it. Good luck getting rid of them buggers.
I would like to know your secret unorthodox bug kill
I wish I could find Captain Jakcks here in Canada.
Very helpful.
Thank you.
You are so sweet thank you 🪴🪴♥️❤️
💚
Thank you!
Brilliant thank you again x
I once bought a few plants together not realizing one of them was infected with mite so I treated all of the plants I'd bought. Unfortunately I guess I burned the foliage with the neem oil mixture( I diluted it according to the instructions) because all the leaves turned brown and fell off. Not one plant survived. I haven't used neem oil since. 😬
Hi T! Very sorry to hear about the double plant death situation 🪴👼 what kind of plants were they? I wonder of you used the neem extract?
Thank you for this video! It will help so many people!
P.S. Your plants are Beautiful!!
Thank you so much, Ashtan!

Thanks for sharing this ideas.👍👍👍💕💕💕
So nice of you! Thank you for watching !
What do you do with smaller leaved plants? I have a soh with spider mites that I just can't seem to overcome. I have not tried a sytemic pesticide because I don't want super mites.
You can always throw it in the sink, or shower, spray the leaves off, then spray the plant with Neem oil.
Hi Mike! If it's a really bad infestation, I have a very unorthodox way I kill the bugs, but I have been reluctant to share it on here because people are sensitive about methods of cleaning plants. If you'd like my secret to killing bugs, DM me.
@@plantluxxe great thanks 😊. I think i sent a message via Instagram. I am not so good with social media and I was told you could not dm on RUclips! Hopefully you get my message! Thanks so much for your time, it is an inherited plant that means a lot to me!
I’m having a problem with them
Hi Vania! I’m so sorry you have them… Spider mites are so annoying aren’t they? I’m doing a mealy big video soon too 😂🪴❤️ thank you for watching and commenting!
I sent you a “message” about the stuff I used. No joke, I haven’t seen a single bug since the 2nd treatment. Gone are the paper towels and the stinky Neem oil, which I actually threw away. You know how much I hate the smell of that crap though. I love that we’re getting so many videos lately! I’m hope everyone is safe and warm after your crazy snow time!
So what is the stuff called that you used? If it worked amazingly I want to know too! 💕
I use a little bit of rubbing alcohol dish soap and water in a spray bottle, no neem oil. Spray scrub and again for at least 3 to 5 days depends on how bad the infection is. Neem really isn't for mites.
Hi Chrystal! Actually Neem is an insecticide,Miticide, as well as a fungicide that controls spider mites, aphids, whiteflies, and various other insects.
I use Garden Safe brand and follow the package directions. On the label it tells the various insects it kills. I usually use more neem than what is called for and mix in dish soap as well.
Using alcohol is great but it is the mildest and weakest of the treatments out there in comparison to neem and horticulture oil. However, sometimes mild is exactly what the doctor ordered! I like using rubbing alcohol for treatments as well and oftentimes in combination with the treatment I shared in this video. It’s a great killer as well but some plants are very sensitive to the alcohol. Thank you for sharing your method! It’s a great method and works ! Thank you for watching and commenting.
