My grandmother has painted for most of her life. She worked with watercolor, oil and acrylics. But mostly watercolor. I would always go in her studio when I was a little girl and be amazed at all of the cool things she had in it. I looked up to her. She always pushed me to be creative and tell me I could do anything. She’s getting older now and losing the strength in her hands and can’t paint anymore. Yesterday I was surprised with a bunch of her supplies that she has had for years. One thing was this vintage wooden box that slides open has these large pans of watercolors inside. I thought of you immediately and thought “omg Kristy would love to see this!” So I had to share with you 🥰 Thank you for being YOU. And for teaching us all of the things about watercolor and how to always be kind to ourselves 💓 ✨
You make me smile so yes I am watching this video. I learn something all the time. I am 75 and disabled but you have encouraged me even when I can’t paint. I have watched others on RUclips over the past 2 years , since watercolor is easier on my hands . You helped me find my joy and lose the tension that came from trying to follow all the rules. I do watercolor portraiture and I LOVE Holbein. They’re beautifully opaque, they mix together in just the right ways, the color selection they offer is really nice and really gives bright, colorful and beautiful options to work with. The fact that they are so controllable makes them soooo easy to use for small details. I use a tiny brush and it’s almost like drawing with watercolor. But small dark details like eyes, eyelashes, eyebrows and freckles are all made 100x easier with Holbein. I only need a tiny bit of water because they’re so moist already, and I can make a decently thick, beautiful and controllable paint. I love Asian style watercolors. I use Paul Rubens for studies and sketchbook sessions, I use Super Vision for special effects, and I use Mijello Mission Gold for character design and urban scenes. While I have, use and love W&N, Sennelier and Daniel Smith, I just find Holbeins to be unique and be very special.
I would have liked to know the names of the colours in this video, I know it would have made the video longer but much easier to identify which colours are my favourites then..
To me, I feel like they lay down like butter, very smooth. I recently was painting a Monarch butterfly and used watercolor pencils as a base, then used Holbein watercolor for the layers on top. I was shocked on the intensity of color I was able to get. It looked like the butterfly was jumping off the paper. ❤
Hi Kristy. My favorite Holbein colors are Shell pink, brilliant pink, jaune brilliant shades 1 & 2, horizon blue and compose green. Loved seeing your collection
Just today, the mail person brought me my order of Holbein Horizon Blue. I'm adding it to a small (21 half pans) travel palette for a trip. I inherited from my mother a small box (6 5 ml tubes) of Holbein watercolors years ago, and I just started using them. Love their viridian green, even 30+ years old.
Your videos has inspired me SO MUCH! I was having an art/creative block for a while and haven’t touched my paint in months. After watching your videos and seeing your amazing art- My husband (by request) bought me your watercoloring book & invested in more Holbein paints🤗🤗🤗 Previously I only purchased one color (jaune w232) and I got a small dot card from the company. I’m a W&N girl 😊 I CANT WAIT until Mother’s Day so I can paint with my new colors in my new book! Thanks so much for the wonderful inspiration 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 The way you put colors together & create beautiful color pallets and art gives me the drive to do more! My juices are flowing!!!! I just put together a palette the other day, combining my sets of 12 that I’ve purchased. Now I have one to carry with my favorite sets!💕. Thank you for your videos.
This was very helpful for me. I found your book at the library, picked up an interview with you at The Mind of Watercolor, and jumped over to check out your channel - and there was a picture of the very paints I’d been daydreaming and wondering about last month. Thank you for the creative palette adventure. Most artists recommend limited palettes, and with your video I felt like my bright, bouncy, convenience-color-loving self just might have a chance at designing a palette that I like for myself. Thanks for that. I’ve liked, subscribed, and I’ll be back for more.
Hello Kristy! Because of your videos, I got a vintage crayon tin, to fill with watercolors. My husband just happens to have a 3d printer. He started printing me 1/2 pans, so I could fill a little palette. But he keeps printing me new pans. Comes upstairs, and drops a handful on my art table. So I just HAVE to keep getting more paints lol. I'm pretty new to watercolor, but I received both Holbeins and Paul Rubens for mother's day!! And I just got a "new" palette to fill. Have a great day, and thank you for all your videos! xo
Christy, have you tried Qor watercolor paints? If you want WOW bright colors and insane pigment movement then Qor paints are for you. These paints have a totally different binder that is made solely to disperse through the water like nobody's business. I call my Qor paints my wild child as they are all over the page.
She has them in one of her palette videos. They are one of my favorites for the reasons you mentioned. Daniel Smith for the granulating colors. Holbein I like for the vivid shades I put a bit of oxgal in them so they will move better.
Thank you for sharing this, I am torn between Holbein and Daniel Smith, but I think from watching this I may now lean towards Holbein. Can I ask you what size roughly is your final tin palette please as I also love all things Vintage ❤
@@KristyRicedo you have the swatch list uploaded anywhere with color names or numbers. I love the swatches and love that you did a swatch but I can't see what is what
I paint primarily with oils and pastels. The last few years I've been using Holbein oils (after taking a workshop from Carolyn Anderson in Taos Ski Valley, New Mexico, in 2015). I am now seriously considering getting into watercolors. I love Holbein's oil in Mineral Violet. Because I love Holbein oils is the reason I am considering using their watercolors. Thank you for this video - very helpful! I have just subscribed to your channel.
I love/want ALL THE COLORS! lol I am obsessed with color. I am a colored pencil artist who is learning new things. Watercolor is like the polar opposite of colored pencils. It's certainly fun to learn. Your channel really helps me feel comfortable with playing as I learn, so thank you.
My favorite colours were 375 ( a red violet colour), 351 i think, lovelu turquoise and a lovely peachy colour. Very hard to see the numbers, esp as fast as you went thru them. After trying to pick fav 5 and losing my comments 3 times (lol) i gave up with these 3. Lol. My favorite colour is yes... just depends on the moment. Love your videos!!!
I do enjoy coming along with you on the watercolour paint journey. You save me a lot of money and time. I trust your advice. Thank you for sharing this information with us.
I saw a blue-green (more green than blue) on your palette... I just bought Cobalt Green... states, "transparent" on Amazon.... it's opaque... even has white as one of the pigment numbers. It's PG18, PB28 AND PW6. I'm a beginner, but feel like "clueless" because it just didn't register with me. It's like gouache... wish Holbein had a dot card... Well, if you have another color suggestion- bring it on Kristy!!! Love listening to you!!! You're a great 👍 teacher and artist!!! Thank you for sharing! Happy Easter with love from a California Gramma ❤️
What's my favorite color from your new pallet? That's like asking who is my favorite child! I always fall in love with colors that play well with each other. It is about the combinations of colors playing off one another, and those yummy liminal spaces where they meet and dance. Loved this video and the way you explain the differences in brands. I have learned so much from you. I am so excited to get my new travel set together. It is going to be bigger, and to heck with all those less is more folks. More is More if it works! Joy and health to you all.
For me, it's brushes. I can do brush tests all day. The phone size palette cases hold 48 half pans so I can take those in a pinch. But I like a good sized mixing area. M. Graham watercolors make me so happy.
Impossible to pick a favorite color, those blues and greens, so yummy. I have watched your video on 7 Favorite Brands several times since I'm still building a collection I love and am very curious about Sennelier, I don't have any of their paints and even though you didn't seem overly enthused, the swatching looked beautiful. But really, can't wait for your palette! 💙
Just thought I’d pop in and let you know that sennelier offers a 5 tube set of 10 ml paints as a trial for a really affordable price…only $20 in Canada, so probably much cheaper in the USA. Comes with red, yellow, ultra marine blue, paynes gray and Chinese orange , so will give you a super trying out experience!
@@jenneke9763 Appreciate the heads up. I think those might be the artist grade paints, not the professional ones but again, thanks for letting me know. I did break down and order several tubes and am excited to give them a try. 🙂
I really enjoyed this video and I learned about the traveling of the paints. I decided I liked the ones that traveled especially with the other colors ❤Thank you ❤
I had heard a lot of good about Holbein, so I purchased a dot card with all 108 colors. I received it yesterday, so will be playing with it this weekend and getting a feel for them and deciding what colors to get for my palette. Thank you for sharing this wonderful review.
I've never found a Holbein watercolor dot card. I have W&N, Daniel Smith, & Schmincke... I've googled to find this. Where did you find yours? Thank 😊 you! A California Gramma ♥️
I just got the Daniel Smith split primary set so I can get in there and really learn how the color works... And *almost* any color from six tubes of paint is intriguing to me... They're a lot different from my "beginner" palette, which is a Japanese brand with a good selection and nice rich colors. I think the wife would have kittens if I bought any more paints right now...but after this video, I might try anyway 😂
I love Holbein. I used their gouache in school, but just recently grabbed some watercolors to try during the recent Jackson’s watercolor sale (I was SHOCKED to get my package in the US 2 days after I ordered). The colors are so beautiful!
I found the comparison of the 3 brands rather interesting. I like Daniel Smith but I also have some W&N; now I'll have to try out some Holbein. I see some shopping in the near future.
So interesting to see how others arrange their palettes! I have converted more of my own palettes to feature DaVinci Paints from California! I have smaller metal and larger well type palettes. I use the Acurit technical pans from Jerry’s to label my pans and wells they are waterproof and make refilling easier! I have brand specific palettes like Gansai Tambi and the Russian White Knights. I do have several colors left from mission gold that still live in my daily watercolor palettes. I am enjoying watching your videos and seeing you create everything from paintings to rearranging your own palettes! Thank you for sharing and I hope to see you next video!
Love seeing all your supplies. I got excited to receive 5 tubes of Daniel Smith- I have two friends that I share with and fill a half pan for each of us, and they share any colours they get too 😁
Thanks Kristie for showing the most lovely Holbeins!!❤ Now, down to business on where the best prices or sales on these beauties!! I adore the brilliant pink!!❤❤❤ wow…..Does Jerry’s have a pint sale time of year?? Thanks in advance for answers!!❤
I honelsy want more paint from this brand I have maybe 4 or 5 and I never know how or when to use them right now. But I've definitely seen where I would like to add. And those green and earth tones. Just make me sooo happy!
not sure if I understood you well at around time stamp 3:54 but.. you mentioned holbein doesn't have oxgal so it doesn't flow as much on the paper as W&N and DS did? but.. DS also don't use oxgal in their paints they are vegan except 3 colours, ivory black, sepia and payne's grey which are easily replaced by other colours of their collection. oxgal comes from gallbladder of cattle. about W&N I can't confirm whether they use oxgal or not as I can't find any info online about it. how DS paint have a good flow without using oxgal is their secret I think. Schmincke horadem surely have oxgal in their paints, their academy paints are vegan. just a bit extra info for those who find it helpful 😊
Today I am feeling purple. Might be the dreary weather outside. Number 115 spoke loudly to me. Is it normal to have different colors grab you on different days? I will never not struggle with that question of which is my favorite color…
Next month I have friends going to Japan. I plan to give them money to buy me some Holbein watercolor and gouache paints. I would like to know from you what are the must have colors in the Holbein brand. Thank you.
I've always been intrigued by Holbein, I love their gouache, but I'm a WN fan with a ton of paints. I found etsy sellers who sell sample palettes of 1 ml baby pans and was able to try out a bunch of colors for a fraction of the cost. Which led me to my newest favorite colors of lilac, shell pink, and jaune brilliant!!!
This was great, although i would have been ok with it being even longer, myself! I love holbein, although my favorites are watercolor with honey. Have you ever experimented with adding honey to your watercolor paints? I think I saw that Schminke sold some specifically to add to watercolor. I'm gonna have to get some.
@@marytesta3003 I would only use the honey made specifically for adding to watercolor. I know Schmincke makes some. I haven't done a search to see who else has. I will get some eventually!
I use White Nights which have honey…and had abandoned my Arteza tubes however…I added a regular squeeze honey- about 10% - and WOW! Do it! Also had some W&N that worked perfectly with honey.
There’s only 4 colors in the Holbein collection I feel a strong draw to own: Juan Brilliant 1, Juan Brilliant 2, Shell Pink and Horizon Blue. I can’t buy them for awhile though, I literally just had a huge haul of white nights watercolor gifted to me by my partner
Kristy, What do you think about QOR? I wonder if the QOR Aquasol would work with Holbein? I too love Holbein, but they are really expensive. And, I enjoy the way QOR tends to explode.
I have Holbein Opera, Compose Green, Horizon Blue, Quin Violet, Bright Violet, Jaune Brilliant #2, and Grey of Grey. Bright Violet is my fave; Compose Green is the most confusing. No idea how to use it.
I realize this is a year later but maybe when you use them in an upcoming video, please tell us the numbers of tge bright pink, luminous purple and brightest chartreuse! 💜
I just picked up a few vintage tins at a local antique store and the tins are pretty beat up, old paint, some rusty spots. Do you have any recommendations on how to clean them up and get them ready to be used again?
So to freshen up the interior of the tins: You could use some steel wool to remove any loose rust. Then look into a rustoleum spray paint in a soft white :) Several thin coats with a more steel wool abrasion in between :)
I’m new to watercolor and have been using the Mozart Japanese Watercolor set. I find that after an hour or so of painting, the pans start to get sticky! Why is this/ do Holbein paints do the same?
I am not an expert for sure but I think as the water begins to sink in the pigment it just becomes more sticky but it drys up. I do notice that sticky feel as I wet over and over.
I love seeing this. Love the colors. But I can’t imagine what a box from Jerry’s with that many tubes would cost. I suppose if I was a professional painter that wouldn’t be an issue.
Well I will say this….Art supplies are my thing. I don’t wear fancy clothes or collect bags or ya know… also every art supply I purchase is a business expense so there’s that, lol!! Holbein is def pricey though. I haven’t added to be original palette for years until recently 😅
Ohhh you’re forcing me to admit that when I’m being spendy on art supplies- 🤣I do tell myself I don’t drink, I don’t gamble, I don’t snort coke so these art supplies aren’t nearly as expensive as those habits would be . Now if I could figure out how to make them a business expense that would be perfect. I’m glad you do show us these brands. Because if I did decide to invest I’d have confidence that I wouldn’t be buying something I know absolutely nothing about. ❤️
I read Daniel Smith is also vegan though because they use synthetic binders and not ox gall. I def want some holbein paints now though :D would you consider them professional or student quality?
Daniel Smith uses natural gum arabic for binder like almost all watercolor except for Qor (which is the only brand I know of that uses a synthetic binder). Ox gall isn't the only thing that creates dispersal, it's also how finely the paint is milled for example, i.e. Holbein is very finely milled, DS generally has bigger particles that move in water. Other nuances in the paintmaking also affects the pigment behavior, it's hard to know each paintmaker's process.
Dear Kristy, thx a lot! May I ask one question? Is there a way to take already dried colors out of the half pans and sort of repot them into another palette? I have a porcelain palette that I had set up. I want to redo them, but not all the colors (would be a shame and is too expensive) just take out and throw away. So I'm wondering, is there any way I can melt them down or do anything with them to reuse them and repot them into half pans? Thank you. I couldn’t find anything about this topic. I think it’s not possible to reuse dried paint from one palette into another
I would take a flat scraper and try to pop them out. I bought one of those 36 colour White Nights palettes, and then dug out some of the paint out of a bunch of the pans and stuck them into a much smaller palette. I just wet the bottoms and they stuck onto the new palette easily. I would be a bit more hesitant about scraping out of a porcelain palette, as scratching is a possibility. Maybe wetting the edges will allow the edge of a palette knife to slide underneath more easily? You don’t need to melt them down, just plop them with a little dab of the original paint underneath, and it’ll dry that weird lump into the half pan. Good luck!!!
I do it all the time no problem at all I have been changing colors the past few days. The only thing if you have M.Graham in warm weather they are harder to change out because of the honey.I put sticky paints in the fridge for a while it makes it so much easier.

Kuretake Gansai Tambi paints aren't watercolors, they are infact " Ganai Tambi paints". The Gansai Tambi paints are in a whole class of its own, they contain Hide glues and other ingredients that are not used in western/eastern watercolors. I own the entire 108 Holbein watercolors, and I do use the lightfast colors when I am using techniques that require no movement in water, and a bit more opaque. They are excellent for painting floral and Bontanical pieces... because I can use a wet into wet, and not have to worry about them spreading wildly out of control! Sorry for the FYI at the beginning of my comment, my OCD and pro artist protectionism made me write it hahahaha it's a friendly FYI, for those of you that didn't know they are different paints, in their own category. ohhh and I see you love vintage tins and palettes.... but I as well, own many brands of professional artist grade watercolor paints.... in their entire color ranges ( yes a fortune lol ) 140, 200, 360, etc etc... complete color ranges. So I buy those Robax plastic studio pallets that have 150 wells, with options of add on wells and attachments, for studio work. I also buy those plastic Paul Rubens plates that are " air tight " ( NOT ) and they have removable trays on both sides... I put my sets in those, because they can hold up to 140 full pans , and 260+ half pans each. I only use full pans, so it's a bit hard to find something that will hold alot of full pans, without taking up a ton of space ( the entire table top lol ) I don't like plastic palettes, I've always used metal and sprayed them with a special ceramic paint. But I was running out of space and spots in my studio and Bindery, for storing my watercolors... trying to find a place for 10 metal pallets containing a complete brand of paints.I fill the Paul Rubens entire palette with full pans anyways, so iam not using any pallete surface for mixing...I use sperate porcelain palettes that my brother custom makes for me. I see you buy alot of paint too, so it's something to think about lol... because the time will come when you have nowhere to put them, and more are coming into the door 🤣🤣 I've rambled and geeked out enough, hope you have a wonderful day 😊
So feel free to ignore me or reply privately but is it in the budget to go for a professional brand? Because you are ready. All that is required is excitement and drive. There isn't a special place or talent level you need to be at to deserve the good stuff :) And dare I say professional pigment will most definitely catapult your journey :)
Ok pretty lady, I rewound and looked and looked. lol Do you have multiples of some colors? I'm not that familiar with Holbein but it seems like the numbers are based on the tube size? Maybe I'm just going crazy. lol I tried to do an emoji but youtube is doing their you can click but we're not going to listen thing again. I love that really light pink color. Actually, they are all pretty. I don't suppose you would give us a list of all the colors so we could pick out the ones we like? Pretty please? lol

Thanks, Kristy! This is very helpful! My favorites would have to be # 115 and #13. ❤️
Sennelier is lovely by itself, but among the others it does not rank the highest. :)
Oooh fun!!
Kittens are in your future 😂😂
I love Holbein. I used their gouache in school, but just recently grabbed some watercolors to try during the recent Jackson’s watercolor sale (I was SHOCKED to get my package in the US 2 days after I ordered). The colors are so beautiful!
Isn’t Jackson’s amazing!! And Holbein too of course, lol!
I found the comparison of the 3 brands rather interesting. I like Daniel Smith but I also have some W&N; now I'll have to try out some Holbein. I see some shopping in the near future.
Always find you informative and very happy!!
I love the palette tour/building videos :D
And the Holbeins are some of my favorites as well. They're amazing
I need to try those pens!!
I love you and your energy. I so enjoy your style. You are the Bomb Diggety.
Well, your awesome-sauce! lol
And if you email the company, they’ll send you a dot card sample of their paints and a huge catalog 🥰
Amazing company with amazing quality
Oh wow! Thanks for sharing!
The dark purple is awesome!
Yes Kristi.. this is great!! 💕
Oh! I love that blue one right there and the green. Haha! I need to use my Holbein more. Thanks Kristy!
You’re welcome!
Love seeing all your supplies. I got excited to receive 5 tubes of Daniel Smith- I have two friends that I share with and fill a half pan for each of us, and they share any colours they get too 😁
That is awesome!
Ahhh.... speaking of your own:-) Thank you. I love Holbein.
Fun video, love palette refreshes! Favorite colors are opera rose and #115
I am also an opera rose fan even though I shouldn't like it!
Extremely fun video ❤
I honelsy want more paint from this brand I have maybe 4 or 5 and I never know how or when to use them right now. But I've definitely seen where I would like to add.
And those green and earth tones. Just make me sooo happy!
Yeah, they are pretty incredible :) I like to use pastels like shell pink, they are fun to experiment with!
Absolutely love going on these journeys with you...
Oh yay!!!
not sure if I understood you well at around time stamp 3:54 but.. you mentioned holbein doesn't have oxgal so it doesn't flow as much on the paper as W&N and DS did?
So helpful thank you!!
Today I am feeling purple. Might be the dreary weather outside. Number 115 spoke loudly to me. Is it normal to have different colors grab you on different days? I will never not struggle with that question of which is my favorite color…
Absolutely normal!
I love Holbein watercolors too! I’m not a fan though of the pastels with PW5 added.
Aww bummer, but I get it, they have a very different feel and don’t move as much…
Next month I have friends going to Japan. I plan to give them money to buy me some Holbein watercolor and gouache paints. I would like to know from you what are the must have colors in the Holbein brand. Thank you.
Loved the video, the Daniel Smith watercolors are actually also vegan, except for black and some grays.
Omg, I love jaune brilliant, it's one of my favorites!
Thanks. Could only afford 12 tunes of Holbien But can't wait to use them
You will have so much fun!
This was great, although i would have been ok with it being even longer, myself! I love holbein, although my favorites are watercolor with honey. Have you ever experimented with adding honey to your watercolor paints? I think I saw that Schminke sold some specifically to add to watercolor. I'm gonna have to get some.
I would be interested in the honey experiment. I was wondering if there is a specific honey to use. Also if glycerin works the same.
I've never tried adding honey, but now I want to!
I'm totally doing it now!!
Those are all my Holbein favorites!
Wow! Exciting….Can you tell me where is a good place to shop for White Night watercolors in the US?? Thanks in advance.❤
I don't travel much, but I'm obsessed about all of this, and I would build a palette to at least picking it up and draw on my yard.♥
Kristi, you are so talented you could create with Crayola or Prang paints.
I actually like Crayola! Thank you!!
Kristy, What do you think about QOR? I wonder if the QOR Aquasol would work with Holbein? I too love Holbein, but they are really expensive. And, I enjoy the way QOR tends to explode.
I really enjoy watching this!
So glad, thanks for watching! Do you have any Holbein?
@@KristyRice not yet....
I love all your fun tins ❤
Love, love, love Holbein!
I want some near day go to Japan. I hope this watercolor are some of the things i bring with me.
I ask you. Is there enough time or money to collect all the watercolor palettes I want. I'm telling you I'm going to try. Thanks Kristy.
There is absolutely no way to collect them all, but it is sure fun to try!
I love them all. I got a cheaper set a Michael’s more on chalky side.❤️😜
What color is that light pink shade you use? I love it! Fell in love with naples yellow as well!
Shell pink!
Thanks definitely going to order it!
Apparently you can use soap instead of ox gall. Frugal crafter has a video
Oh interesting!!!
Hi! I love your art and your teaching! What color is the brightest green at the bottom of the page?❤️
Curious to know what you do with the discarded paint?
I never discard. Just cut it out of the tubes and rewet :)
I have Holbein Opera, Compose Green, Horizon Blue, Quin Violet, Bright Violet, Jaune Brilliant #2, and Grey of Grey. Bright Violet is my fave; Compose Green is the most confusing. No idea how to use it.
Hello Kristy, is Bright Rose in your palette? I love that is looks almost neon. Does Holbein also have a green and/or yellow that is also neon like?
Yes, it is :) Acadimisium green pale is not neon, but it is bright, then permanent green #1.
Love that vintage tin
I am new to watercolor. Anxious to purchase new supplies so this video is very helpful! Where can I buy vintage tins?
Etsy and eBay are my go to’s!!
I realize this is a year later but maybe when you use them in an upcoming video, please tell us the numbers of tge bright pink, luminous purple and brightest chartreuse! 💜
How many of the Holbein colors do you have? just curious.. it looks beautiful in the pan
Are they good for begginers ?
I have watercolors talens art creation
So i was thinking about buying much better quality watercolors when i use talens.
Welll I would actually say no. If you want to level up to this level I’d go with Daniel smith first :)
Aluminum doesn't rust. It only corrodes with salt, I think. So it makes sense they are fine if they are made from aluminum.
That makes sense then!
Professional for sure
Daniel Smith uses natural gum arabic for binder like almost all watercolor except for Qor (which is the only brand I know of that uses a synthetic binder). Ox gall isn't the only thing that creates dispersal, it's also how finely the paint is milled for example, i.e. Holbein is very finely milled, DS generally has bigger particles that move in water. Other nuances in the paintmaking also affects the pigment behavior, it's hard to know each paintmaker's process.
I have holbein and it's my favorite 🤩
So so good!
Do you ever lend out any of your pellets to try I don't know what I like for watercolors yet
Thanks for help
@@hearterin294 Thank you very much
Where do you buy the little magnets from 😍
Do you put your magnets into the pans before squeezing the paint in? Do you glue them in if so?
Yes and nope I just drop then in!!
@@KristyRice Thanks!
Love that Donald Duck Paint Box!
Vintage paint tins? Like I don't have a problem with collecting vintage face powder compacts. Off to eBay...
Perfect comparison :)

I see you buy alot of paint too, so it's something to think about lol... because the time will come when you have nowhere to put them, and more are coming into the door 🤣🤣 I've rambled and geeked out enough, hope you have a wonderful day 😊
do you have M. Graham? Could you say more about them>
I have 8 tubes of M. Graham and recently began adding to those! So…coming soon!

Are these good in terms of lightfastness?
Did you pour those colors from tubes into the squares? Or just repurchase new sets?
Holbein does not have PY129
Where do I get your water color brushes
Her website links to her Amazon. She restocks occasionally
Restock is coming any day now!!
Ohhhh a vegan brand!! Yes please, I’m no where near ready for professional supplies, but one day!
Do you by chance have a vegan student grade line that you recommend?
So feel free to ignore me or reply privately but is it in the budget to go for a professional brand? Because you are ready. All that is required is excitement and drive. There isn't a special place or talent level you need to be at to deserve the good stuff :) And dare I say professional pigment will most definitely catapult your journey :)
I'd go for Kuretake Gansai Tambi - amazing Japanese watercolors for incredible price. All vegan!
Oh my goodness, you are so kind, thank you for empowering me. This sweet reply made my day. 🥰
Ohhhhh I looked them up, they are beautiful, thank you!!
Pretty please? lol
The light pink is shell pink, I am working on cataloguing the colors.
@@KristyRice Thank you for responding. I actually ordered some holbein recently including the shell pink. So far I love them. :)
