Homemade Roast Beef Sandwich: The French Onion Dip

  • Welcome, in this video we transform an Eye round roast into an epic sandwich! After carefully trimming the silver skin we use a steak sauce as a binder and season it with Killer Hogs BBQ Steak Rub. Then we place it on the offset smoker for about 2 hours at 250°. We monitored the temps with the ThermoPro TempSpike. Once it hit 115° internal we pulled it and let it rest and the carry over cooking take it to 120 deg. Sliced thin we Used Hot Crispy Oil Aioli in the roll and topped with carnalized onions in Ajus. I then placed it under the broiler to melt the Swiss cheese. I love this sandwich!
