I'm 72, I had a 1963 split window co-op when I was in my early 20s, I lost it in a divorce in my late 20s bummer.

amazing vette, the 67 427 is one of my favorites. only thing i personally would change is the rims, i prefer a more traditional race inspired look.

Lou Costabile wow, that was impressive. i wasn't expecting you to take me to a completely original vette down to the tires, you were probably looking at a $150k-$200k car. the only thing that could have made it better is if it came with knock-off wheels from the factory. those 427s sounded incredible too. for the vette in this vid, i think some halibrands no bigger than 17" would have been perfect. those have the race look that i like.

I would love to see more gauges if you asked me, and have the option where you can raise the car up for everyday drive on the street, but this car is built more for show what it looks like, it's a beautiful car no doubt

I wish Chevy would drop the Corvette styling they’re using now(which is just a improvement on the C4 design)....and design a modern version of the C2 stingray. It would be incredible.

This almost always happens in that business that cars of this caliber take between 1-2 years or more and no he wouldn’t go out of business, this is easily a 300k build and its not unheard of for people to spend closer to 500k.
Don’t forget a lot of small jobs come and go that support the shop throughout the duration, shop owner clearly says in the beginning he has about 17 employees so they’re producing.
Shop owner also said this was a Ridler contestant, you think a car that takes anything under a year makes the cut to even qualify to be a Ridler contestant?
You clearly don’t avidly follow this industry and if you do you’re not paying attention to what goes into it.

I know you probably have to be cordial to all or you'll probably be lynched but 5,000+ man hours ($175-$200k) of labor plus parts and aggravation for an abomination that will never sell for anything close to what the owner has invested in it. They just went way to far off the path in my eyes and I'm surprised to see this from a grown man. A 17 year old.... yes, but not from an adult.
