Wish Netflix producers gave the Resident Evil series the same love and respect like how Amazon Prime did with Fallout, instead of the garbage we got 😒
Doesn't help that the fanbase of RE accepts the terrible content on their knees like weirdos. The amount of cope and weirdness you'll see if you criticize any recent Resident Evil show or movie is just sad.
Also Todd Howard was co producer which helps to quell anything outrageous they could put in. If one of the creators oversaw the resident evil series it may have done better, though, idk if they would get pushed around by American Hollywood

I've been playing Fallout since the first game and I love all the references to the first two games. Shady Sands being the first town you visit in Fallout 1. I don't know if it was intended to be a reference but Maximus being from Shady Sands and as I see it Lucy's first real companion is a fun reference to Shady Sands being the first town you visit in Fallout 1 and also where you can get your first companion in the game.
This is also probably me overthinking something that has no relevance to anything, but it's a fun over thought.

I liked the show also some other interesting facts, bubba from Forrest Gump was one of the raiders killed by the Ghoul. And the Ghoul’s actor scared the hell out of himself in the makeup

Can’t believe I have to mention this show again, but the fact that Fallout is both good and canon to the games makes Netflix’s Resident Evil even bigger embarrasment than it already is.
It would be cool if they made Resident Evil series that could fill those blank spots in RE lore or generally show those parts of the story that can’t be turned into a gameplay, like life of Umbrella founders, Brandon Bailey’s exploration of Africa, maybe even final days of George Trevor.
Remember when they tried to pretend the Netflix RE was going to be canon to the games? And then quickly revised the statement to say the games were canon to it? And then it actually came out and no one knows what it was or was not canon with because the only thing all six people who watched remember is "zootopia porn" and Lance Reddick?

Thanks for the review and recommendation, I will definitely check it. I always end up disappointed with movies and shows based on video games, and Fallout, with Resident Evil and Prince of Persia, is among my favorites. I was afraid that they will ruin it but, so far, everybody seems to love it.

Fallout New Vegas was the best in the series in terms of lore, story, and exploration.
It's crazy tho, I just realize that each episode is like its own movie bc of how long it is

It’s actually very in line with games unless you’re an insufferable nerd who’s more concerned with lore and continuity details never being changed or expanded on, if you’re a normal person it’s very similar.
