  • Las Vegas Is an amazing place, but theres so much more to do than shopping and casinos.Today we decided to leave the Las Vegas Strip go see the Red Rocks. Red Rocks Canyon is an amazing piece nature and a total 180 from the Las Vegas Strip. Its quiet and you will find piece once you step foot on the land. Later we head to Fremont Street for the first time to see what Down Town Las Vegas is really like. Next time we Visit Las Vegas, I want to have more time on Fremont Street.

@@TravelSpreeOfficialyes, a lot of places to go hiking. Red Rock, mount Charles, etc. there is also the Mob Museum which was actually near Fremont Street. Just further down from the flame throwing Mantis is the container store area. Shops and restaurants are made out of old connex containers. The Atomic Museum is really awesome. We also have been to the Shelby Museum and the Museum of Natural History. A lot more to do there than just gamble.

I went to Las Vegas in 2005 and went to the Grand Canyon by plane. At that time it cost me $175.00. When we got there it was raining and snowing so I didn't see much except for getting soaked. I went in to a place where they had a big fireplace and dried off before getting back on the bus.

The picture that you show at 18 seconds is from the Colorado National Monument. I have taken that same photo myself! It has great hiking and there is a drive with great views that goes across the top of the monument between Fruita and Grand Junction. Come see us! We are also about about hour and a half from Arches and Canyonlands in Utah. Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park is an hour and a half away. The Grand Mesa, the largest flat-topped mountain in the world is an hour from the valley and is gorgeous in the summer! We have a fair number of breweries, wineries and distilleries for the adult crowd!
