Hi! I want to learn how to animate a logo that’s a face like SypherPK’s but I don’t know how. I tried displacement maps but it didn’t work well, any ideas how I can learn to do it?

Hey BravityM, I have a good question you might know. There is a streamer on twitch named "Mitchflowerpower". Underneath of his webcam he has a animated "info bar" that appears to be made in After Effects for the animation, and then has data pulled from text files. What seems to be the magic behind it, is how the info from the text files is being played at those specific intervals. Any idea on how it could be replicated where a streamer could put their own flair/other info on it? Its very unique. I'm trying to wrap my head around how it works. I suspect it has something to do with knowing some coding to make it work? And looking on Stream Elements website, i'm not so sure any of the widgets would really be used to custom create that info bar? Thank you for your time :)

I just had a look, the animation is very simple, and would be very easy to pull up your social media. Adding the recent donations makes it a little more complex but not too bad. I’ll add it to my notebook and see if I have time to make a video on it soon :)
@@BravityM Sounds good :) I think I have the right mindset on how it functions, but the part of it pulling the data from the text files and displaying it is what I can't wrap my head around. Maybe its something super simple that i'm just overlooking with OBS

If you wanted to animate the face that would not just be a simple effect you can apply. You would have to learn how to animate

why isnt the effect controls tab popping up? it just shows Project but not Effect Controls
You can open the effects controls tab from the drop down at the top called “Windows”
