@@maxwellchen2198 i know im a year late but if you learn 2 look cfop and continue to read and learn cfop you should get sub 1 minieut in no time (ps learning 1 look pll right after 2 look is probaly best)
In the example with blue on orange where you did u2 f2 to alline red, 6:27, you can look from green and do U F' L D L R. Its the same number of moves and you also get an f2l pair
When you are between 20 and 30 average and you feel like every part of your solve needs a lot of work and don't know where to start. Good thing I found this vid, why not start with the first step.
Hey Brody. Great vid. My question is this. When you “plan out” your whole cross and exacute it without thinking, are you converting it to F R U BD Ls in you head or are you converting to something like “blue down, red on top of green, pair down, D2, orange down in back” Hope my question makes sense..
I try to think of it as the motions and what they will do rather than the notation. It's not even something I think about in words, I try to visualize it as much as possible.
I remembered White cross color scheme like this: GO: It's a word, OB: the end of Bob, just a funny word, BR: like Brrr like you're cold, RG: Similar to the word Rag. It may sound silly but it worked for me.
i just started cubing. my best time was 3 minutes and 17 seconds and for me the fact that I need to plan out the whole cross before I do it is just impossible to me
wait really, thanks that motivated me to not give up because I was gonna give up because I thought if I can't plan it then I can't solve it fast so thank you very much!
Very helpful tips. Since I watched this for the first time a while ago and started implementing those tips, my cross already got much more efficient (at least most of the time). Still needs a lot of work but I'll get there.
Hey Brody, no matter how hard I try I just can't plan out the entire cross during inspection unless it's under 6 moves. This is the only thing holding me back from sub - 15. I believe my crosses are efficient enough just that I'm not able to visualise/plan out an entire cross in my head. Do you have any tips and also what goes on in your head when you are planning out the cross?
Sorry if I'm too late, but my advice would be to just practice doing most of your cross with a blindfold (like Brody said in the biginning of this video but only most of it) until you can do it without any mistakes, then just try and do the whole cross blindfolded.

Hi brody I want you to help me I want to know how can I become very perfect on cube colour scheme when yellow is on top and white on bottom. Is there anything I need to remember while practicing. And one more thing should I remember the notations after the inception.I'll be very thankful if you help me out with this.,
Thanks for the video. Could you please breakdown the time allocation for each stage to be able to solve the cube in 60 seconds? For example: White cross - 10 seconds F2L - 20 seconds Etc etc
What's the best way to remember the order of the faces? I never forget that green/blue and orange/red are opposites but I seem to always have to make mental notes to myself while doing the cross like "ok, green is to the left of orange". Does this intuition come naturally over time or is there a way I can build that intuition? Thanks!
Hi ... I'm really sorry as this is really a very beginner's question, so my wording is probably incorrect. My times are around 1minute. Up until now I've just been solving the cross by doing the daisy flower method. I'm just looking for a way to save time and make the cross directly on the white side, except I can't get the edge pieces to line up with the center pieces - some of them line up and some don't. I hope what i wrote makes sense.
I’m really getting frustrated I need help because I don’t know how to do the cross upside down I ride it difficult and can’t get it all right a lined up any advice
