Hey guys!! Make sure to like the video and share it with your friends!! And thank you to everyone who was at the premiere!! Unfortunately I couldn't be there, but I'll try to be at as many as possible in the future!!
Thank you very much Brody this video is helping get a better understanding of F2L especially at the 6:08 minute mark of "hide the edge." And at 8:01 my brain just exploded because I have never seen an efficient display of a F2L case. I never knew on how to do F2L case properly. I have been cubing for well over 2 years and this tutorial made me remember the basics of cubing. Well back to practicing for me. Thanks again for all of your hard work and dedication on spreading knowledge to an old school cuber and the cubing community.
Great video! Was able to solve using beginners method and started learning F2L. The more and more I do it, I'm recognizing similar cases and most of the pair solves are intuitive. Thanks for sharing this video. It really helps.
As a Roux solver right from the start but interested in other methods I'm always glad there are some guys who show the basic CFOP stuff. Very well explained. Thanks for that.
This is one of the best f2l videos I've watched! Every f2l video I watched was really random and hard to understand. I like how every thing is categorized and not randomized! Love your vids
Aditya Bhate that’s the case for me I know full f2l I know most F2L cases but still 2 look OLL and a few oll algs It’s gonna be a pain to learn it all but it’ll be worth it bc Rn I average 21
I finally got under 1minute using the beginner method , I can now complete the cube blind folded because I switched to a cube with a sides that are the same color.
Awesome video. Surprisingly, I already knew all the cases before watching, but I hadn't really understood the last couple of them till you showed slowly how you solved them. I was just doing them mechanically, applying algs without knowledge... but now I know what those algs are for and therefore I won't ever forget them. Thanks
for me, that's all about F2L. I'm 35-43. My last layer is 11 seconds, but my PLL recognition is horrible. But my first 2 layers takes 26-32 seconds... get your first 2 layers to 20 and you're good
Great Brody... It is a very nice video. I am a beginner, it helps me a lot to easily understand and remember the moves. I highly appreciate your work. Keep it up dear...
@@BrodytheCuber I think it gives enough, since you say things like "hide the corner" or "hide the edge" and you go slow to really make it clear what you're doing. Some tutorials only give the algorithm on screen and perform it unclearly with no extra detail.
@@bobmarley6306 I agree. This is helpful as a starting point, seriously. I mean after learning what f2L is, definitely use these cases. I knew all but one, but this is totally useful. You can go from here to learn more cases. I really like how useful these cases are and how simple to learn.
For case 8, it depends on the style of the cuber, but you can put the corner in the slot with U R U' R', then do a U and that sets up to a double sexy insert. It's a few more moves but it can be executed quickly and it's easy on the look ahead.
yeah that can work too, but for some reason that's less common than the other solutions I showed. I recommend doing solution #1 when possible, but the other two and the one you mentioned are all interchangeable
These are great videos and I take an occasional screen shot of a new algorithm to help me memorize. I wanted to add a little something to learning how to look ahead doing F2L. Recently I became quite interested in solving a 3 x 3 with one hand. Obviously it really slowed me down but because I knew how to solve with 2 hands it helped me look through my moves and solve faster.
The one with an opposite color connected pair that you can pull out a solved pair and just put it right back after solving your current pair is a good one :) I did not know that one. Thanks!
THIS VIDEO WAS SOOOO HELPFUL! Bruh I had an ok base for f2l but I always paired the pieces and then actually like solved the f2l pair but with this It actually helped so much Keep it up bro
Regarding unsolving a solved pair, I reckon one should avoid doing the moves that unsolve a corner and edge pair. If you're solving the cube, you only want to do the case that solves the indicated edges and corners of the cube properly. RUclipsr J Perm has a J Perm video on his channel, that, oddly enough, will solve any pair without scrambling the cube. There's a video on his channel on how he solves a Rubik's Cube using only the J Perm variants of cube rotations.
1:58 or you could move the blue edge to the blue center and do R’ F R F’ then rotate the corner above the edge piece and do R U R’ U’ R U R’ then the corner and edge are solved
Brody, I know a lot of algs, maybe 100, I solve roux so maybe you can help me but I could still use your tips, I am Slow, really slow. I average about 45 seconds but I do way more advanced things. I have looked at my solves and think that I have a crazy move count, i have seen people with way less moves and turn slower but are faster. It took me a while to realise that but now i have and do you have any tips apart from Practice. I have been solving like 6 months now and can solve 2x2, 2x2x4, 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, void cube, armadillo cube and so on. Should I focus more on move count instead of speed?
I’ve recently picked cubing back up I got to where I could solve beginners method in about a min and just started f2l up and having lil trouble kind of looking for someone to help
There is easier way to solve that 8th case. If you would just do U to move it to the empty slot, then you could do a pair with F' U2 F and then put the corner on the right spot and insert it normally. I find it a bit easyer🤗
I feel like a lot of those pairs could have been inserted more fluid with R’FRF’ . Sledgehammer. Or maybe I’m seeing it now cuz I just started using them 🤷♂️
Using F moves usually requires regrips which significantly slows down the solve. You might not turn fast enough to realize it now but when you do, you will regret committing bad habits to muscle memory. Use R and U moves over F moves whenever possible.
I remember I used to think that the only thing that makes cubes speedcubes is because of their round stickers
MDIF - MC and More lol
Tbh we all thought that when we were mediocre
Noice
Mee too
Wait the sticker isn’t what makes a speed cube?
Me: *know all f2l cases
Also me:*watch video just in case
Same thing for me
@@Indogirlish Yeah!
lol same
😂
Safwan Haris411 you may know f2l but you don’t know English grammar

hey brody i am sub 23 my cross take abut 3-4 sec and f2l abut 12 sec and ll takes about 8 -10 sec what should i work on to get to sub 20
k
Ok 🤣🤣🤣

Learning full OLL is my next step for me but i know full PLL and of course improving my f2l
im so happy u didnt said "full f2l"

im sub 10 and i dont know full oll lol i hate learning algs
Just use BrOLL
@Aditya Bhate maybe that’s what they want
Thanks, Brody. I never thought to hide the edge and move the corner.
Him:This is not gonna be a f2l tutorial
Also him: proceeds to show everything u need for f2l
I finally got under 1minute using the beginner method , I can now complete the cube blind folded because I switched to a cube with a sides that are the same color.
You say it's not a tutorial but your explanation was better than a tutorial 😄

That would be very helpful for many.

@@perkonm Ok Thanks Man
Try to master F2L, Remember All edges filled oll ,
u can try to memorize some common oll and plls, and solve the cube slower but dont stop. im sub 30.
ye It really would i average 40 seconds rn and can't fund any sub 40 tutorials I use cfop!!!!!
Great Brody... It is a very nice video. I am a beginner, it helps me a lot to easily understand and remember the moves. I highly appreciate your work. Keep it up dear...
@BrodyTheCuber Very good video, I'm in the process of teaching F2L to a few friends and this will really help them grasp the basics.
This is good for teaching cases but it doesn't give any real understanding. So be careful using it to teach F2L

The only F2L tutorial which makes sense
It would be nice if this gave a move sequence to set up each of the cases, so we can more easily practise them while watching.
you can literally do the same "solving" algorithm 2 times to get that case.
Thanks for the tips Brody, I’m currently learning F2L and this has helped.
Oh my god this video was helpful to me as a beginner, straight forward as hell and is explain intuitively.
Thank you so much Brody for making this video!Espically in the 3rd category i would cube rotate a lot just to solve the pair
i always think of brody as the f2l guy out of all the other cubing youtubers

This video is very helpful. I’ve been looking for video like this. Thank you verymuch.
so useful i used to spent like 20moves per pair an now i improved my average by 4 secconds because of this

you gotta give everyone a chance and love you brody bro
This video actually helps so much
Oh my I’ve been done much worse versions of some of these by using F moves to hid pieces and that’s much faster the way you have shown. Thanks
I have set a reminder.
Have you!?

15k subs btw, congrats! :D
Algorithms for intuitive part 😂😂
I have the same picture as your profile picture as my background on my pc 😱
When i do the last block, i always destroy another block. Can u give an advice, plz?
Your videos are so helpful.
Hmm... this was really great! I like how you explain everything so pedagogically so that this 47 yo gets it, haha! Keep it up!
Tyvm 😊 this really helped me in solving f2l faster👍
you were super helpful! Thank you so much!!
That last one was the only case I still found hard.
So thanks Brody!
Nice video pro👍🏻

Wow good f2l cases very good for beginners thanks so much

Hey Brody can you do a video for preserving f2l pairs
arha veraepalli bro just sledgehammer
1:58 or you could move the blue edge to the blue center and do R’ F R F’ then rotate the corner above the edge piece and do R U R’ U’ R U R’ then the corner and edge are solved

Help im Full pll I am working at my oll but I dont have any problem of it but in f2l i have i cant understand my average is 25 sec
YDG- Express try watching j per he has a PDF of all cases
Im pretty sure to insert a made par you can just use slegdehammer
You can do both, sledgehammer is usually slower tho
Ive learned a lot by ur vids
Your using the GAN AIR SM, right?
I dont know why i watched the entire video when i already know intuitive f2l
It would be nice if you had these cases broken down to individual videos
love what you have done here.

Logan Hargrove I hate f moves with a passion I’ll do anything to avoid them
Thanks. Very helpful. :)
i love how every time he solves a case he gets an OLL and PLL skip
Can u please make a vid on advance f2l cases
I have!
very helpful
Thanks
I've been watching for years but I barely subscribed because I want to be apart of the Brody Bunch. 😂
Thanks man
you're welcome
I feel good about knowing all these except that next to last one. The “break it and reinsert it” trick is my takeaway from this video.
Who knows all advanced f2l cases and is still watching just for the video😂
i improved a ton from your pll and oll cases. f2l i cant understand cause i average at 30 sec
If you want to get faster, you definitely need to work on your F2L though
Great lakes champs was fun
5:09 That alg break another f2l pair lmao
