I thought the most common mistake is spamming tps and then pausing for 7 seconds but k Nah but really nice vid it actually goes into detail on how it works rather than just saying it does
Nah two of my mates I cube with started f2l, they are not great, I mean they are sub 30 but they do these type of long move things. Thanks I can share this video with them. Also I’m sub 15 but still a great vid.
I can’t remember what f2l tutorial I used, but the creator broke it down into 3 types of cases: case 1 ( when the top colours are different), case 2 ( when the top colours are the same) and case 3 which is the case in this video when the white is on top. He introduced as a case on its own and taught to solve it this way so yeah when I see people solve it like this it gets me on edge a little.
Nice vid brody! I tend to do the opisite, I don't know how to solve as many cases with the bottom color not on top so I tend to prefer cases with the white on top (if that Is my bottom color)
For the insert instead of R'URU'R' can't you just connect the pair and then do an R2 and cancel into a sledge hammer if the pair goes into the front right
It just seems more natural to me for this pair since it can be inserted in the same motion since it's ready to be sledgehammered in the same motion (i.e. R2 once you've brought the white-on-top corner over the edge piece). My F2L is still slow but working on it ;)
There is one more case where it is better to knock the corner down, the corner is in UF en the edge is oriented right behind it, you solve it with R U2 R' U' R U R'

"It's physically impossible for a comment of this video to get pinned" - The Physicist Cuber, 2018
Correct
BrodytheCuber see, I told you
But it can be loved? Hmm... interesting.....
@@thephysicistcuber175 No it won't
- Zage - glad to see people confirming my conjecture
Thank you Brody, I needed this video. I make many mistakes during F2L process.
Knew this alg, but still a good video
Good for you man! And thanks!!
I never heard anyone doing this mistake.
maybe it's just me then. It's still good to just point out

me neither
That's literally the first F2l Case that I learnt
good for you man
BrodytheCuber :D
Dude this was great, tried it and it totally helps improving my F2L, thanks!
You're very welcome fernando!
Very insightful video for people who are beginners in F2L :)

I'm pretty sure that was JPerm's tutorial.
Whoa, this is the most common mistake? I've never heard of this... But again, it's not like I'm going to competitions or anything.
Go to one theyre awesome
First, I used to do this as a beginner and this video would have really helped!
Thanks man this is really helpful
For the second case, I line the edge up and do (right side) R U R2 F R F' or (left side) L' U' L2 F' L' F.
Yes an upload!
I already did this, expect I always sledgehammer this case because it feels more like a good flow.
Next world famous cuber
Why is it that when I solve on Edge the one I solved before is undone
It’s just intuitive for me.
.

Thanks Brody
Can you please describe what "this" specific case is? 2:43
It’s the look ahead!!
I stuck in multisloting and look ahead pls make a video for it
mind blown. nice job!

Super helpful!
Thanks!!!
no problem!! I'm glad I could help
Nice video!
Learned this from cyotheking/Chris but great video Brody
Ur video help me alot 👍👍
Helps a lot, how do I improve if I am sub 12?
How do you not know this youre sub 12
GD XerXer I do know it, I meant helps a lot for beginners, just to clarify, I can see how it looks like that’s what I meant
Sir , please do working slow notation.&put algaritham in video
omg when i learned f2l i only knew what to do for the white on top so i did the complete opposite lol
i hate that case, because i can,t do it unless i cube rotate if it's in back left or back right
tips for faster recognition please
Practice... Lots
thank goodness I did it the way you said to do it the whole timr
I do the complete opposite: I always put the white sticker on top, i dont know cases where it isn't on top, so i push it on top
yeah that's really bad.
I know a lot of very effectuate f2l algs, but my weakness is fluidity
I am averaging in between 15-17 secs consistently, (f2l:8-10 secs, LL:4-6 secs)
is that good?
thanks
These times are more like 13-15 secs
@@PreservationEnthusiast yes, but he can be sub-10 if he is faster at F2L. Scuse for my english, im french Canadian.
Dude can you make a video plz plz plz on what your times will be on if you had 30 seconds inspection time would your times drop or increase
I will try this. Thanks!
No problem!! Good luck!
i love your videos
i subscribed
Everyone should. Good job
Welcome to the Brody Bunch!!
good
I have an problem on f2l so i do the cross and all that stuff how it says but isn't like should be and my case isn't on the site what i do
Great video ! Excellent tips for beginners and others. Sub'd !
Welcome to the Brody Bunch Mitchell!!
Oh good. I already knew this
I solve the white on top pairs the same way but insert them via sledgehammer. Is this less efficient?
Not necessarily, but sledgehammer and the regular insert have different uses, so overall it's better to learn which would be better in each situation.
It just seems more natural to me for this pair since it can be inserted in the same motion since it's ready to be sledgehammered in the same motion (i.e. R2 once you've brought the white-on-top corner over the edge piece). My F2L is still slow but working on it ;)
Nice video! I ordered Maru ( completely off topic). What are your thoughts on it?
It's quite useful.
Very helpful
sweet thanks Brody (by the way my name is Brody)
Thank you so much
There is one more case where it is better to knock the corner down, the corner is in UF en the edge is oriented right behind it, you solve it with R U2 R' U' R U R'
I mean that's true, but I wasn't taking cases where the pieces are connected into account when I said that was the only one
Fair
I don't rotate that much(If 4rotations per solve is not much)but my f2l algs are too long (I think it is anyway)
Thanks!
Nice video👍
Thank you very much!
can you show me how to get way more better at my pll
when white is on top is way easier lol
Such an unstable cube without magnets...
When I do that alg it doesn't solve the whole cube, but yours does.
Can someone tell me if somethings wrong
I set it up so it would do that. You aren't doing anything wrong.
👏👏👏👏👏👏 eu já faço assim só o último caso que não tem sabiá thanks
Thank you
this is the most obvious thing, everybody should know this
Love it
Notification squad!!
New vid = happy me
I'm the only one who already knew this
I need these
Thanks
This is awesome thank you!!!! Also for your training sessions can you do hangouts???
Yes, I always do them through hangouts
Ok sorry thanks!
Look ahead
Notification Squad!
I don’t have that mistake
I knew it very early
soo poor late
R B U2’ B’ R’ or R B’ R B R2’
Thank god i don’t do this mistake
I do F sexy F', I dunno about you guys.
Yeah!
This is the only case I know tbh lol
Jperm is the best
No we are not doing that
