  • Exploring The National Mosque of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur [KL] or Masjid Negara Malaysia, is a MUST for every visitor.
In this documentary-style video, we will take you with us as we explore this fascinating mosque and uncover all its secrets. Furthermore, we will also tour the Islamic Arts Museum of Malaysia, across the street from the National Mosque, and marvel at the largest and most striking collection of Islamic paintings in Asia.
Built in 1965 to celebrate the independence of Malaysia, the National Mosque/Masjid Negara quickly became one of the cultural and religious hotspots in Kuala Lumpur. Today, it stands as a beacon of tradition in this everchanging world of modern life.
An impressive blue and green tiled-dome, beautiful stained-glass windows, and a 240-feet-tall minaret, are but a few of the highlights of this captivating site.

Superb content. Thanks for highlighting our beloved National Mosque (Masjid Negara) and other religious sites in our city. I would also suggest you to go visit Masjid Wilayah (The Federal Territory Mosque). Every states or cities in Malaysia has their own official mosque. In this case, 'Masjid Wilayah' is the official mosque for Kuala Lumpur. It's not far away from the National Mosque via Grab taxi. Also please check out Putra Mosque also known as 'The Pink Mosque' and also visit The Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque known as 'The Iron Mosque' both in Putrajaya City. just 30mins outside of Kuala Lumpur. Putrajaya is the administrative and judicial capital of Malaysia where our Federal Government offices operates.
Keep up the good work. Enjoyed all your videos. Please enjoy your time in Malaysia!
