Did anyone know that Nidge is in the opening sequence in Saving Private Ryan ?.....I read about him before SPR was released. It mentioned something like "an up and coming Irish actor/ new talent", and described the scene. This was when he had hair though. Have a close look

Misogyny on steroids, the writing, and direction is so primitive and dated. What does it say about Ireland that this series was commissioned with public money, made this way and relatively recently too; and was so popular with Dubliners in particular. Sad.
