Yes, a common myth with ceramic is that people believe it lasts for years, in reality it lasts dependent on several factors, since it is a coating and wears down over time. PPF can be polished, but for the one we are using, you would ideally not do it, since it is self healing and you’d polish away the self healing layer. You’d only perhaps polish in extreme scenarios if the self healing was already ruined by improper care, then you could potentially polish it a little which could improve the look (although of course this would only be a temporary solution!)

PPF pricing varies a lot but if you are getting a PPF that genuinely behaves how it promises, it is always worth the investment in most cases vs ceramic

wont you have to keep reapplying ceramic on the ppf too? how can the ppf be polished since itself is only microns thick?
