I would lose my mind if I got the chance to own and operate one of these one day. 20-30 years ( probably longer) from now a much advanced version of these vehicles will probably be zipping through the sky everywhere and used as common transportation. This is the first APV that I have seen that looks like a good possibility for people being able to drive them like cars. Others are either to big or their wings are to big or both. They usually look more like a helicopter with wheels or something big and bulky making driving them difficult especially on normal roads. When flying they may have more room but to be road worthy not so much. This one is small and looks like it could drive easily on the road or air. I am very impressed. It's the first time I saw one and thought that might actually work.

    • @BernardoPC117
      @BernardoPC117 Месяц назад +6

    The only change I would suggest is to guard the propellers. This could be achieved with a carbon fiber casing. Even if it adds some weight and reduces flight time, it's better to be safe than to risk a few extra minutes in the air and potentially lose a limb or even suffer a fatal injury from the blades.

Im not sure what safety systems or redundancy this thing has but in the event of a critical failure... at higher altitudes a parachute would work to save his life but at low altitudes, man. Seems like there's nothing you could do to prevent serious injury or death. A robust suspension system would help absorb a ground impact if it landed right side up but I understand that would add a lot of weight.

    • @RandomCityBlues
      @RandomCityBlues 2 месяца назад +6

      I highly doubt that. It'll be the golden years when these are actually in the skies being used. And there's no reason to expect them not to be regulated, just like any other aircraft. You do see helicopters and small airplanes in the sky don't you? Yeah, they're not illegal. They're regulated.

    • @brutalwarpig

      @RandomCityBlues just pointing out that, particularly in more recent times, most governments tend to over regulate everything. Bureaucracies are like healthy cells that become cancerous. There is a movement on the left to increasingly abandon personal responsibility and accountability by giving away more and more personal liberties to government Bureaucracies. These utopian mindsets always ignore human nature. As such, ultimately, they fail.
