@@shimapanties9324 yeah the xl2546k is the newest version from the xl series, but if you have the xl2546 you wont need the k version really at all....

When you wanna play games on a 240hz monitor but the games don't run that high fps like bf5 for example?
Im going from a 75hz monitor to one of these bad boys. I cant sleep at night. So hyped up.

@@TheAssiBaer The difference in my gameplay was nothing less than drastic. It's amazing how it smooths movements. And when I say that, I mean your movements will be absolutely crispy. You're able to focus in on targets a lot better. As for the build of the monitor itself it's very very solid. The design is perfect for the Gamer. Going from the 75hz to the 240hz BQZ is night and day. Absolutely did improve my gaming.

I just purchased the BENQ and I’m going to get a pc but I have no idea about specs and stuff.
What do I need in a pc to reach 240hz for csgo.
Im in the same boat , planning to go for a Ryzen 9 3900 x + 2070 Super which should give a consistent 300 fps.

@@faora you don't even need anything close to those specs for 300 fps in csgo, a ryzen 5 3600 and a gtx 1650 is enough for 300 fps on csgo.
So you can run this with 240hz with 1MS w/o having Ghosting just like alienware 240hz right?

Dang I've had this for a few weeks and coming from 144hz im a bit sad since the difference as huge from 60-144hz also the colors are so washed on the Benq Settings. What settings have you been using on the Benq? Maybe ill try what you have and change my mind before returning.
If you bought this for colors I'd return it. Go get an ips panel. Benq monitors are high performance, low color accuracy.

Is it okay for other activity like minor editing, office thing, making presentation, watching movies, etc..?
Absolutely yes. I've been using tn panels after my ips and never was bothered with screen colours. And i liked it a good bit better for gaming. Colours are still colourfull to me, I still need to lower brightness to not burn my eyes, ... IPS vs tn is irrelevant for working in word for regular purposes. IPS would be better for editing but if ur editing is basic (as in: ur living doesn't depend on it) it's perfectly fine. You're mentioning making presentations? Every presentation I ever made was later showcased using a trash beamer in class for example which did colors even less justice. No need to have color accuracy then right? I only had 1 tn panel that was horrible to look at and it was known for that issue. All my other panels I loved. Bright and deep colour to my eyes. Colour calibration helps a ton too! Bad viewing angles YES, but I sit in front of my monitor all the time and most monitors can rotate/tilt/change height so no issue there for me either. And lastly, if you ever need that IPS aspect of a monitor, buy a more budget 60hz IPS monitor just for editing purposes for example.

I’m not doing editing for living. Just doing some office work while I’m at home such as ms word, excel, and powerpoint quite sometimes. Next is reading pdf file, ebooks for my colleges assignments, watching movies.
The point is, I want to have one monitor so I can play games too.

I’m gonna buy this for Fortnite and I have an i9 9900k and a gtx 1080 do u think it will be able to run 240fps? (Should I OC my cpu)?
If u optimize it thru nvidia geforce experience and put it on the lowest setting i think u might just be hitting 240fps

@@TheNikjay everywhere, it causes input lag and stuttering.. + all these programs for "performance optimization" suck, it's all best to uninstall as many things from your pc as possible, you can change all the settings you need without this programs so you don't lose any performance
is rtx2070Super good enough with this?
On certain games yes. rocket league, fortnite, ... it hits that 240fps. Other games like battlefield it won't (but neither would more expensive cards)

PSA: If you're thinking of using this in a dual monitor config with a 60hz panel for your twitch stream obs... it will downclock your 240hz panel to 60hz.
If you're streaming... you will need two of them :) ,
I bit the bullet and got 2. Best decision i ever made.
It's complicated as to why you need 2 , but obs and stream-labs claim it's a microsoft problem.
You could also just close the stream preview and then it won't lock you down to 60hz lol

i had to choose between this and the alienware aw2518hf.. i went for the alienware. yah 240 hz is just kaboom. :D

CsgoCarousel go with the zowie, its definitely better than the alienware one. Nearly no famous pro players use the alienware. Many pro‘s use the zowie

No, g-sync or freesync does increase input lag. Dyac is a standalone monitor feature and does not interfere with ur pc
