Wow....all that delicious food choices for under $1 each.
You'd have to go back 100 years to find such a price in the U.S.
Thanks for showing us the real Vietnam. This is exactly the kind of information I look for. Your bright, positive spirit that brightens my day.
Thanks for supporting me!!!
Hello from Seattle. Thank you for showing us the street food from your childhood neighborhood.
Excellent quality to the food, it looks so nutritious that $2 would do you for a day!
This blog is so so helpful. I am planning to visit Vietnam in coming November from India. I really need this type of blog. So so helpful this is. Thank you so so much. It helps someone like me who is going to come Vietnam for the first time. I shall be travelling to Hanoi from Kolkata, India. Planning to stay around 6 nights. Will follow your blogs for sure, so so helpful.
I was several times in Haiphong. Near the hotel was a small street food. When i was hungry at night, i got banh mi there or i ate pho at another place.
Yeah, Haiphong is another great place for street food, too
After watching this clip : Muốn về Việt Nam quá 🇫🇷👉🇻🇳

today I had a food tour following your guide. It was good with all the street foods which you introduced. I had Banh Duc, Che ba Phuong, and grilled pork skewers. Thank you so much for this video!!!
Love your videos; thanks for sharing I also have a passion for Vietnam. have been there five times so far and I can’t wait to return. Sitting somewhere on the street corner with a bowl of Pho or enjoying Bun Cha … is certainly one of the best things in life.
Truly an amazing video that shows unique Vietnamese food culture. Hanoi will be my travel bucket list for the coming trip😃 Keep up the good work~ thumbs up for the video 👍

Oh, that’s good to know.
Btw I will, definitely😄 Thank you for watching!
Just got back from Vietnam recently and suggestions from your were really helpful! Looking forward to going back soon ❤️
Even Vietnamese myself, lots of dishes I’ve never try before.
Thử đi em ơi, ngon lắm haha
Ma'am I'm from India, your Hanoi city is clean and well disciplined. I really liked Hanoi. If possible planning to visit your country next year. I'm very much interested about your country's culture.
Thank you so much! Hope to see you soon in Vietnam✨
@@hungnguyenmanh8179 i think its a relic of british rule. sir and maam all the time is humorously stereotypical to me bc i grew up with some indian folk (mostly sikh i think but idk what ethnicity) and watching some travel videos
Clean and well disciplined? Are u joking, hanoi is the most disgusting filthy polluted chaotic city I have ever been to. Like staying in a public toilet.
Vrushanka - the food is 100 times better in Southern Vietnam. They have beautiful cakes too. I didn't like any food introduced here. I ate at homes of Northern Vietnamese and I never liked ONE dish. They lack imagination and are second rate cooks, and hosts I may add. Not welcoming.
What? Hanoi is what? It's a 'pinche desmadre' as we'd say in Mexican Spanish. No, really, seriously. I've been to all big cities in SEAsia, often and some more than once. Saigon and Hanoi really do take the cake for their 'dynamism' and 'energy'. You think Jakarta is pure mayhem, you ain't seen nothing yet. 😉
Thank u for sharing such an incredible video...the food looks yummy..I always love to eat street food in Hanoi Vietnam... it's the best..your so lucky..🤗
been watching your channel for a weee while and decision made to revisit vietnam after 15 odd yrs! cant wait! long flight from NZ but im sure its worth it. =)
I Missed These Videos So Much. Great To See Her Old High School. She Will Not Say Why She Stopped. Such Yummy Pork.
Oh my god, this is making my mouth water and bringing me to tears! Unbelievable! That hot porridge with deep fried bread sticks! Under $ .50! I'm dyin' - I just GOTTA get over to Hanoi - PRONTO! Van, you are hands down the winningest face of Vietnam on RUclips!
It is a paradise of food ❤
The food looks delicious. Can never go wrong with affordable food especially if they're delicious and nutritious. I would love to go to Vietnam, Thailand and Taiwan because ive heard the food is very affordable.
I found Thai & Taiwanese food unpalatable. As for Vietnamese food, I prefer the cooks from the South. More variety and so very tasty. My favourite Asian food are to be found in Cantonese and Hong Kong restaurants. My favourite Vietnamese food is actually home cooked food by those from the South.
Love the food! Van. Looking forward to be at your beautiful country to try the food recommended by you. Looks yummy!
Another great video by Ms. Van Vu. Everything looks delicious at an amazing price.
Thank you🥰
Make my day , i love the old day food , so delicious so comfort.
The fermented pork is so good with Mam Tom
Cool and mouthwatering video😋.On my last visit to Hanoi in August I was very lucky to share good times and good local food with friends who showed me some off radar places. Both of them have modest YT channels but they're top people and cool friends... Looking forward for the next visit

Had Visited Vietnam....7 times. Nice place and tasty food. If Covid 19 under control, Vietnam will be a good place to visit.
By the way , I am 70 year old
I stayed in Singapore for a 10 day visit. I just couldn't eat the locally cooked food there in food halls. I lived out of 711.

Thank you for your sharing, I've been to Vietnam twice, the street foods there no doubted are very cheap and affordable for both locals and foreigners. However, my priority concern is food hygiene, I am planning to pay another visit next April. Now I might think to cancel the trip after watching your episode
I like Vietnamese food. Not such of frit food but those that have soup mixed with peppermint. Fresh vege. Vietnam famous with healthy food. Fresh ingredients. Must look after our health. And I do Vietnamese girls. Only that, I am not in Vietnam. Thanks for sharing.
So awesome!
Will you be exploring the Old Quarter area?
I remember the delicious Nam Bittet and another tasty noodle dumpling soup around that street corner
Sounds great! I will do it one day ^^
So yummy, so sweet!
Awesome ❤️👍🏻

Looks very tasty van :) looks like a fun day and that skewer looks so good. Was never sure what kinda meat it was 😂
Lol I’m sure it’s pork with some other secret ingredients 😂
Ahh street food amazingly delicious 😋
Another beautiful video, I see you have mentioned the term quail eggs again. As I enjoy eggs very much I have yet to try these. Perhaps I can find a vendor here someday that will prepare them for me lol!
Thanks for sharing 👍

Saving this for future reference.
