Yep. Exactly as Brian said. Sometimes we'll loosen the fittings to bleed off some pressure and that will do it.

I bet that when you removed the original fitting there was some residual pressure in the system. I've had issues with quick disconnects not wanting to "snap in" and I used a straight screwdriver to push on the center point of the male fitting which removed the pressure therefore allowing the fitting to go "together".

What is the pressure rating of the helical piles? Is it measured in kIP's?
