Sad these guys didn't get the recognition and popularity they so richly deserve. So glad they didn't stop making music and inspiring whole subgenres of music. They are inspiring a Black/Latino rock supergroup who have yet to meet each other as we speak. Thank you Fishbone for being the only rock / punk / ska group whose entire discography I would ever own.
Fishbone is one of the best BANDS in the business!!! I saw them at the Keystone in San Francisco, CA in the 80's and at Ziggy's in Winston-Salem, NC in the 90's.
I saw them at Roanoke VA in 2010
Yes. Ziggy's!!!
Ziggy’s hell yeah! Too bad it is closed up.
Fishbone played the early Lollapaloozas. That is respect! Music first and to hell with racism.
Dammit I’m from Roanoke and didn’t hear about Fishbone playing!
Legendary band.... Influencing alot of other bands.... These guys can play anything.....
This guitarist is very underrated!!! Everybody always talks about Kendall because he was the original guitarist, and of course people love Rocky cause he's ex Suicidal Tendencies, but this guy can play!!! For real!!! Very good chapter in the book of Fishbone!!
Who's not underated in this band? I see just geniuses. :)
This was the best fishbone line-up IMHO… spacey-T is on fire, these live recordings rival the original studio recordings…
FISHBONE-THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!!!

Rondo Brothers thank you. Rondo. Fish bone was one of my youth good memory and i am very glad to know they keep making good music.
I followed the bone from'88to'92 They were THE Live Band to 👁️ period & While Their headline show at palladium w/2live crew got press it was just another gig for These Massive Artists collective known as Fishbone 🤗
Oh man I just remembered the first time I went to see them at The Boathouse (Norfolk, VA). Fishbone killed it and to get even higher, some of them climbed up into the rafters, not missing a note. Outrageousness
O also saw them in the 80's. Stood there with my mouth agape.
Great show and great bunch of CRAZY guys! I saw them in Bordeaux early 90s
Angelo climbed to the theater balcony and dived in the (high density) crowd from 3 meters high.... I think he trusted his fans a lot.
I love the spoken word. The band is so talented.
Love Fishbone saw them about 20 times, Met the dudes really cool especially Norwood man that guy is cool

Dafuq is dude goin on about?
If Frank Zappa were Black………..
No offense, because I can respect Zappa, but I never got into his music, but his stuff bears only a passing resemblance to what Fishbone does. I think you're stoned haha.
the guy talking kind of really ruins it... but good music
dumb ass!
dumbass
double dumbass
Rascism in the music industy, yeah right. Get a grip.
you're a dumbass
Georgia Loughlin you are right, a black artist is very rare
Michael Jensen
when he says racism he's talking about the categorizations they try to place on people.. you're black so you are supposed to make this, etc
if you think racism doesn't exist you are just wrong in your thinking, i'm not dissing you, its just the truth
ColdSkyClouds I love when people claim they have the truth. I been to over 1000 concerts i my time. For some reason, to Jazz and Blues the audience is mixed, but to Metal and Hard Rock it´s very very rare to see a black person, even to mainstream bands like Metallica. Don´t try and tell me Robert Cray wanted to play Metal, but racism made him play Blues. The big music companies are in it for one thing.. Money.
Michael Jensen
But sir, all he was saying was the music industry tries to put things in nice simply categories. if you go to live shows to see unsigned punk/alternative bands often some of the best bands are black or Hispanic I think its because they are the minority in those genre's so they know they have to be better than the other bands that play those clubs to get the same respect, And you have all these bands and artists who say that they were influenced by fishbone such as no'doubt , red hot chili peppers, sublime, suger ray, the list goes on and you can hear fishbone influence in all their music but they were the ones who made it big, and the modern sound of punk was pretty much created by badbrains who influenced blackflag and the misfits, basically badbrains and fishbone are most popular among other musicians who played the same clubs as them on the way up.
I like Fishbone, but can't help but notice how Angelo accuses of racism, but is obviously himself at least somewhat racist. haha it's sooooo obvious.
Antidisestablishmentarianism Black people can't be racist, look at the definition! And Angie speaks the TRUTH of what and how is is to be unapologetically BLACK in this fucked up ass world!!!! You have no idea!!!!! I bet you don't have to worry about when your loved ones leave the house if they're going to come back home! Well we do! Be Blessed🙏🏾
