I used to do this kind of travel exploring until gas prices made it impossible, but we have Trump working on all of that after the Jan 20th.
I am setting up one of 3 trucks I own the 1991 1/2 4x4 short box Chevrolet for an adventure truck.
I have the new 385 Chev stroker engine done I have the 3 inch lift kit I have a new 13500 winch all for spring 2025 to start putting in or on the truck

Hopefully, gas prices are more affordable this summer! That sounds like an awesome setup for adventures!!

@@stephy_spacesout I also own a 1988 Chevrolet 1 ton I used many years living in Alaska.
I swapped out the 454 engines for a Chevrolet stroker 383 engine with 450 hp then at the same time the Turbo 400 transmission was rebuilt.
This truck it pretty well equipped already and being a 4x4 1 ton it is a tough truck.
I did add last summer an 18.000-pound pull winch.
My 3rd truck is a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 3/4 ton with the 6.6 Duramax engine.
The 1991 1/2 ton Chevrolet I am about to upgrade I just bought a winch rated for 13500 pound pull so that one I am setting up to work the winch from front or back of the truck so doesn't matter which direction I get stuck the winch on a winch receiver goes into the trailer receiver and a receiver I am building for the front of the truck.
