I was stunned by your extremely clever idea of using air dry clay to create handles on the lamp! I would never have thought of that. Just Brilliant! And the project turned out great, to boot! Thank you so much for sharing this project with us. You inspire me to try this myself. BTW, I love your gorgeous black lab (?) doggie! So sweet!!
To clean a deep vase or something of that sort, just put in a little dawn, some baking soda and vinegar and it will bubble and clean itself. Then of course, rinse.
I've just started DYI things. I make vases and flower arrangements. I made my first one to look old and oh my goodness did it turn out awesome!! I never thought of doing this with a lamp. Thank you!!!! This was really helpful.
Oh my goodness, when you started singing the Lion King I busted up laughing 😂 Never heard that but how spot on,lol. I'll never hear it any other way now... Regarding the lamp, Wow 👏 😍 Fantastic!
Yes love these thrift shop/ antique/ trips ..so fun almost like we r there w yall......love these road trips"!!...such a beautiful area u live in...you are soo blessed to have such a nice husband you are such a beautuful person& so talented......im a older lady & need to watch something happy & fun....its very hard to be alone during Holidays...thanks💜🌲🌲i lost my Daddy recently its very hard
Its so funny I've been watching you're videos all day bc I love all your diys and then I noticed in your thrifting videos I know exactly where all of these places are bc I live in Charlotte! Definitely making me want to go to all these places tomorrow!
The goodwill in my area is overpriced overwhelming and the people always seem to be so rude. There is a savers and it’s clean, nice workers and reasonable prices. You did an awesome job, making that look like a great💞
You did a great job I really like how you use a joint compound I've never seen anybody use that I'm going to try that on a big water pitcher that I have keep up the good work
Arizona has the best Goodwills. I am experiencing the same thing in Minnesota with the good wills here. I also miss the 50% off of everything at Goodwill in AZ every other Saturday.
I learned a lot of tricks! And i got very inspired to do some DIY and thrift flips to go for a high end looking decor for less for our new home :) thank you!!! More contents like this please :)
New to ur channel and love it, binge watching😜😜..lion king song “pink pajamas penguins on the bottom” I’m dead 🤪🤪 too funny.... totally love ur style... Thx
I love that Cookie book! I need to do some thrifting and do some of my own dupes because I often hate paying the price of it already done for me when I know I can do it cheaper and better. You can also have glass made to fit a lot of different tables and in different colors to upgrade themtoo!
You are so fortunate in the US as far as thrifting goes. Here in Canada, the thrift stores have gone insane. You really have to look for bargains and they are few and far apart. Most things are just priced out of reach.
Value Village in LA is Savers and everything is very expensive. I found a pretty vase with the old tag from Tjmaxx of $9.99 and guess how much they price it? $9.99 🙄. Their item pricesa for decor are comparable to Homegoods. Ridiculous and I can not find any goods with their reduced priced tags
I’m just curious if you ever do a sale on stuff that you’ve made by your house or locally? Because I would love to do a lot of refurbish things but then I want to get rid of them. Most people only have so much room in their house to keep stuff
That lamp is soo nice, wish we had thrft stores as large in the UK, which are called charity shops, im still looking for a nice lamp which is a good shape may take a while though 😩
K padre te kedo la lámpara y las ollas k volviste jarrones. K bonita te ves maquillada pero te...sugiero...k te maquilles mas natural pues tu esposo se ve muy joven a tu lado, lo digo sin afan de molestar! Saludos y bendiciones 🙏🌼
I rescued a homemade lamp $3.99, (no way was the thing commercially made), removed the hardware and slapped some sparkle and yard dirt on it, and honestly, my friend said it looked like it was dug up in a foreign country! Couldn’t have been happier!
Those round dishes with the spike in the middle are single apple bakers!
Wow... so nice to know that. TFS
Thank you! I had no idea either! 😆

To clean a deep vase or something of that sort, just put in a little dawn, some baking soda and vinegar and it will bubble and clean itself. Then of course, rinse.
And use a bby bottle cleaning brush.
The trips that you " take us along" REALLY enjoy those
I love that you do smaller home decor projects. I don't have room to redo furniture. Great video.

The little bowls with a "finger" in the center: used to fresh squeeze lemons, oranges, etc.
Just yesterday, I was looking at my lighthouse collection thinking - "These need to go." 😀
I’m in Texas and the Goodwills are ridiculously overpriced here. I used to live in Colorado and they were AMAZING value there.
I’m just curious if you ever do a sale on stuff that you’ve made by your house or locally? Because I would love to do a lot of refurbish things but then I want to get rid of them. Most people only have so much room in their house to keep stuff
