When I tried to push object, envelope distort, make with top object it said this requires a selection of multiple objects. The top object must be a single path or mesh, or symbol containing a single path or mesh. But I don’t know how to and I followed the video

The object -in this case the the 3 parts circle- must be on top. And the type must be beneath.
