If you have curls that look like mine it should work. I'm not sure how the outcome will be on wavy hair. These products enhance existing curls, they don't MAKE your hair curly. Hope this helps. Good luck! =)

Where I live in Georgia, the Shea Moisture curly hair products can only be found in the ethnic hair product section if you get it from walmart. I am white and italian so I wasnt sure if it would work on my hair but I bought it and tried anyway and IT IS SO GOOD. Works on all curly hair types. Like literally, secret weapons for real.

im sooooo very thankful i found this video. my girls are biracial and i've tried every product possible to tame and define their combination hair and nothing worked. I was very discouraged, but after watching this video, i decided to try shea moisture products and it was a miracle hahahah. the products immediately transform their hair and to add icing on the cake, this line is completely organic. thank you a million for doing this review.

Absolutely love this! For the past couple years, I've been using Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Moroccan Sleek Oil Treatment and Creme of Nature Style & Shine Foaming Mousse with Moroccan Argan oil for my daughter's hair. I found this combo after YEARS of trial and error with other products. Everything from generic brands, ethnic brands, all the way to salon brands which got EXTREMELY expensive. Recently, my boyfriend started using Shea Moisture for his scalp eczema and general dandruff. He SWEARS by Shea Moisture. Even though the combo of the Garnier and Creme of Nature was a good mix, the products only extended healthy moisture by a few hours. She was still ending up with a frizz by the end of her school day.
Now, I am one of those mothers that swears off any chemical treatments like relaxers and I don't want to spend money for braided updos. Mainly because my daughter's hair is so beautiful and she is finally starting to love her curls (she's 8). Her father's side of the family left her hating her hair and was constantly talking about how much she wished her hair was like mine. As I mentioned, it took my boyfriend and I years to correct all of that self doubt and hatred for her hair. It did help that she was removed from their environment due to relocation and it just being a very abusive environment for other reasons. While not directly related, it has been a huge motivator for finding good products that help my little girl feel uniquely beautiful. So thank you for your videos about naturally maintaining curly/mixed hair. My daughter loved your "21 Cute and Easy Curly Hairstyles" video! I can't wait to try out the Shea Moisture products you have recommended.
    Side Note:
For those with curly and/or mixed hair, STAY AWAY from most ethnic products such as Pink, Motions, Olive Oil, ESPECIALLY Cantu, etc. These products are so bad for your hair, more so if you have a sensitive scalp. If you look into the ingredients in most of these products, they're detrimental to your hair. DO YOUR RESEARCH LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! Please, for the sake of your hair or that of your daughter's/son's. Let those natural curls spring and bounce with love and pride! From my own research, Shea Moisture is time and time again proven to be a superior product.
    Happy Styling!

I just started using these products a few days ago, and I have already noticed a big difference in the softness of my hair. It feels light and silky soft, and all of the products smell wonderful! I'm so glad I picked them up. I am trying the shampoo, conditioner and smoothing milk, however I did notice that my curls are not very defined, I may need to try the other cream with it. I'll see how it goes with the shampoo and conditioner, I may end up ditching them for something cheaper like you did.

Happy to see the Shea moisture products worked better than the shampoo and conditioner by Shea moisture! I had tried the shampoo and conditioner previously and also wasn't impressed, the shampoo made my hair really dry... so I never gave their styling products a chance. But I'm definitely going to have to give them a try again.

I love the Shea Moisture products!! I have tried everything for my naturally curly hair, and I recently decided to check out products in the ethnic hair product section at Wal-Mart after a cutomer of mine (I'm a bartender) who was a hair stylist recommended it because of my hair type. I did a quick google search online and Shea Moisture curl style milk came up as one of the best so I decided to give it a shot, and bought a few of the others by Shea Moisture. I love them!! I also recently bought Carol's Daughter's cleansing conditioner, also in the ethnic section at my Walmart, because it was on clearance. My 6 year old daughter has the same tight natural curls I do and getting through them after a bath is such a pain, so I use the Carol's Dsughter's on her hair as well as mine and it is so easy to get through it after! The smell isn't the greatest, it reminds me of like a cheap bar of soap or something, but it does work! I don't have the money to spend $30 a bottle on hair products, so I'm thankful I've found great products at reasonable prices!

Amazing video. I recently have been telling myself that I want to simply cut all my hair practically off since it is driving me nuts. I don't have the money to want to spend at an expensive salon and even then, that helps only for about a week before the knots and tangles reset. I can't wait to get to the local grocery store to try out this combination. I have tried other products recently but the knots never fully went away. T^T
Thanks for the post. Can't wait to watch more of your videos.

Hey! I use it every day or at least when ever I leave the house so that my curls look there best. I do think they have a little starter kit that might have more compact sizes but the great thing about the products is that it'll keep your curls frizz-free all day. It's not something that'd she would need to re-apply throughout the day. Hope it works for her! Best of luck! Thanks for watching! =)

Hmm I actually haven't tried the smoothie yet. But it seems like it might be having the same effect as the " curl and style milk" when it is left on it's own. Personally I like the "milk" WITH the "soufflé" other wise it's just greasy... SOFT...but greasy. Hope this helps! Good luck!

OK,... yeah, I really raised my hand.
But, omg!YES, th Shea Moisture stuff is amazeballs! No more frizzy mess, no more tangled knots, no more giving up and putting the hair in a twisty bun!
I like the Curling Souffle, but found it made my fine curls kinda crunchy, so I use the Style Milk+Curl Enhancing Smoothie and voila! No crunch, lots of bounce and shine, and SOFT curls! Hallelujah!
