No sweeter sound than Dime tearing it up over Rex's bass and Vinnie's drums. No rhythm guitar needed, just three world-class musicians throwing down.

The guitarist and drummer are brothers, and they were my brothers from another mother. I am glad to see people enjoying their music many years after it was made. I know Dime and Vin would absolutely love your reaction to their video. RIP Brothers,

I'm from arlington texas, home of pantera. In high school, my friends car broke down in front of Dime's house. He came out, tried to help me for an hour to get her car running, and when we couldn't he called a tow truck and paid for it. Then he invited us to hang out with him on his porch while we waited. Such a sweet, kind hearted man. We saw him many time just out and about in arlington, and he would always take the time to talk to us and others and often pay for whatever you were getting at the time (food, music, gas, etc) and just hang with you. I was also at the party at Dime's house after the Stars win the Stanley Cup. I saw them dent the cup diving into the pool! 😂😂😂

I wasn't at this show, but I've seen Pantera everywhere from backyard parties (when they were more of a glam band with a different singer) to arenas. I used to run into Dime at guitar center in Arlington TX all of the time. Some of my best Pantera memories are seeing them play in smallish bars for a 100-200 people.

Something I doubt most people realize is that this is probably the first time a large amount of the attendees had ever heard Pantera ….they didn’t have radio stations that played this kind of music , they didn’t have record stores that sold this kind of music or any western music , western music was exclusively in the form of bootleg tapes and they were not cheap ……. Oh and there was supposed to be 1.5 million people at that show at a military air base ……. The Soviet Union had just collapsed….all of Eastern European /Warsaw pact countries were free of Soviet control and the SSR’s states were now independent countries ( Latvia, Lithuania, Uzbekistan, Georgia …..) west and east Germany were reunited …..there was a lot going on in the world at that time . I saw Pantera live in Southern California …they toured really hard with White Zombie , Dagnasty , white caps at local shows .tickets were between $5-$10 and you had to buy a drink ) my fake ID never failed I saw them at Goodies in Fullerton and the place in Corona California uh ….can’t remember the name of ( it was back in 90, 91 ish ) show was awesome …… those shows were fun

Ha Ha! I was in TEXAS, not in Moscow! Any American’s that were at that show were probably military who were close enough to go. On one of these reactions, an army guy told his story about how he got to go to this because he was stationed nearby and had the free time to go. It was super cool hearing from an American who was actually there. I never thought I’d ever hear a first hand account from an American! Those Russians went bananas because this was the first time the real badass bands were allowed to play there. Can you imagine literally waiting all your life to see the bands you thought you would never get to see live? Several of them no less! This is like when RUSH finally toured South America, they went nuts down there! Blew the band away! Moscow’s on a different level.

This performance was originally intended to be included in the home video (VHS) called "For Those About to Rock: Monsters in Moscow", released in 1992 featuring live performances by AC/DC, Metallica, The Black Crowes, and Pantera. I still don't understand why the record label didn't include it. But later was included on Pantera's 1993 "Vulgar Video" VHS/DVD. The concert was recorded to celebrate the dissolution of the Soviet Union.

Never been to Russia, but I did see them live 3 times { 1991 }{ 1992 }{ 1994 }*** in like 2001 or 2002 Pantera officially broke up. Dime & Vinny formed a new band out of the ashes called Damage Plan, and they were on tour supporting a new album and on Dec.4th 2004 a demented gunman snuck into the back of the venue and shot Darrel at pointblank range 4 times through the head on stage in front of the audience. 😢😥☹😭 in 2017 his older brother Vinny succumbed to heart disease and would join him. At Dime bag Darrel's funeral, Eddie Van Halen brought and had given his Bumblebee guitar to be placed in Darrel coffin.

Just saw them last weekend in Noblesville Indiana with Lamb of God, three rows from the stage. Awesome show despite them not playing Domination. This was 4th time seeing LOG, they NEVER disappoint live. Are you familiar with Lamb of God?? If not, I’d love to see you react to them, maybe Memento Mori.

@@SlashleyReacts What others have done that works really well is when editing to blur the video, put a big text over the video just saying "Pantera" or put the album cover in front of the video. This way you're still watching it, we still hear the song along with seeing your reaction to it, but you're not showing the video to have any copyright issues or get any copyright strikes.
