    Black, white, hispanic, asian, martian, doesn't matter. Nobody can ignore the sheer power of that breakdown. You have to give it the respect it deserves. Even if it's just a simple head bob, you can't hear it and not react. Love seeing people react to awesome shit not of their normal taste. They both get it. Rock the fuck out dude and chick!

    You two just witnessed the KINGS of Power Groove Metal&the best band you could possibly witness live! That particular concert was crazy the police there were beating the crowd with batons for having a good time. I've seen Pantera live 3 times&each time was AMAZING!
    You 2 should do one on Deftones My own summer (shove it) Another AMAZING band&great video!

    This concert was so important because it was one of if not the first times that American bands were allowed to play in Russia following the fall of the Soviet Union. That’s why there were 500k people in the crowd. They were just released from 70 years of communism.

    • @bogdani.4497
      @bogdani.4497 5 лет назад

      there were over 1.500.000 people in the crowd, but aroud that number they stopped counting. and because it was the first time that American bands were allowed in Russia, metal was at this level for the first time there. and most of the people that went to the concert had no clue how to act or how to react, hence the violence that took place there

    I got to hang out with Pantera a few times {Really hang out, not some meet and greet B.S.} I am lucky to have a couple of Rock Star friends. They were the coolest guys ever it was like hanging with buddy's you had known for years. We could watch from the side of the stage or in the barricade area in front of the stage. And if we needed a beer we just ran backstage and grabbed them from the craft service table. Great memories. P.S. There are stories I can't repeat:} Seeing Phil in November with Slayer and Ministry.

    To truly understand this band you gotta check out the VH1 Behind The Music on Pantera. The guitarist and the drummer are brothers and they started the band. Fame and fortune never went their heads. They were the most down to earth people youd ever meet. They loved life and appreciated absolutely everyone. They treated total strangers like family.
