i had the same sized box, but needed to make the square 1.25 X 1.75 for the corner section to lie flat so I could stitch.
I love the cover, it was easy but I found out the hard way that you have to follow the instructions exactly!!

Ms Vivian, Holy cow, you ALWAS come out with things just as I need them!!! I don't have any kids at home anymore so i keep my tissues on my front seat, but crazy drivers always have me stopping quicckly so they always end up on the floor. and in my husband's suv i always try to keep them in the back seat, but somehow they always end up in the very back, lol I can;t believe how easy and simple this was!!! i was also thinking how cute this could be with a ribbon, like you mentioned hanging in my bathroom instead of on my vanity top taling up space that i so desperately need! for those that can't eyeball a 1/2" like me, simply take and old card and measure a 1/2" on it and fold your cloth over at that mark. i do that at at 1/4", 1/2" & 1" as well. o used a blank card from the dollar tree. First you measure your tissue box as I showed in the video. As long as you have the measurements of the box , the add in is for you to box the corners and the opening space to get the tissue out .

Love it. I make Kleenex Box covers for friends that are having surgery. I have made alot of the boxes that have the pointy things on the corners. It is a little big for the stand up box, but I put a puzzle book in it, some snacks etc. In the pointy things I put chap stick in it, pencils or pens and anything else I can think of. I love this! I'm trying to one for the smaller boxes 9x4.75x2 but i can't seem to get them to fit correctly. Do I need to change the corner measurements to 1x1.5? Or does that matter. I'm using 13x16.5 as my fabric size.

My tissue box is a little smaller. Do we add the 3” and the other inches you have listed to our measurements?
First you measure your tissue box as I showed in the video. As long as you have the measurements of the box , the add in is for you to box the corners and the opening space to get the tissue out .

Is the square piece you cut out at 3.51 min. In video the same size no matter size of tissue box?
its depend on the width of the box ,, my suggest to you is that, get a piece of paper, write down the measurements I shown in the video,,, after that you measure your box and see how different between my box and your.. the square at the 4 corners is depends on how wide your box is.. from there you can increase or decrease the square,,
