Hi, I'm new to this candle making. I have a question: Do you use your regular kitchen utensils for candle making? Or do I need to get some stuff to do it. Thank you in advance ☺️ In my first candle, I made a cupcake from a mold, not very happy with it. But in my second one, I made my daughter a chocolate cereal bowl
For whipped wax I don’t actually check the temperature but rather focus on the consistency of the wax. If you already transferred the wax into a piping bag and it’s still too runny, give it a few seconds or minutes, but keep checking so it doesn’t turn hard. It’s a short window!
how do you keep your wax from drying up and clogging your nozzle? i see that your whipped wax is “harder” than mine when you put it in the piping bag but somehow yours dont clog up even tho youre slowly piping and filming
Hi, what is the type of wax that you use? There's so many different kinds. But as long as it's wax for container candles, it shouldn't dry up so fast and clog your nozzle. I experimented a lot with different types of soy wax and one time I used Pillar candle wax and it dried so quickly! But in general that wax is not meant for jar candles.
What kind of wax you are using? Is it applicable to paraffin wax? Do you have some ingredients added to that? Cause i tried this to paraffin wax but i failed
No ideal temperature. It’s a bit of trail and error. You just have to keep whisking the wax until you reach the right consistency; not too runny and not too hard.
If it’s the right type of wax it won’t harden super fast! Make sure you’re using wax for Container candles, it will stay soft long enough to pipe it. Wax that’s used to make candles in molds will harden in seconds when you try to pipe it!
Hi I have been making these and they of course look so much better with the clear glass, my problem for the life of me I cannot stop frosting, air pockets, tunneling ect I have done everything, tried different kinds of waxes and blends :( I’m so sad any tips? I know ppl don’t like to give away their secrets after hard work because it really is like a science project. Any direction to go in?
@Tara yes definitely there are waxes more proned to frosting and sinkholes but if you have ome that has natural additives for those things then the biggest factor will be temperature... i struggled so hard at the beginning and i knew the room i work in was colder than it should be but i like the cold (dont like the heat) so i didnt want to accept that id have to add a digital temp controlled heater in that room ... after more struggling .... i decided to put thermometors in every room of my house tonsee the difference...and my candle room was 65°f ... and on days it gets cold it drops to about 60..(no insulation in the walls) ... so basically i had to really work to control the room temp and it has helped soooo much. . It has not completely erased frosting or sinkholes but it happens ALOT less now .... sorry for the long story! Goodluck! I hope it helps!
Hi...I have also tried multiple times this technique and it comes to disaster everytime...I have used wax for molds, the problem here was that it hardens in seconds before even getting it in the pipping bag and I have used soy wax for containers (here in Greece we have vegan soy wax in pellet form and c3 vegan soy wax,I have used the pellet one) and the problem was that when putted inside the pipping bag it would get pretty hard and it wouldn't come out the of the nozzle...I tried getting the nozzle into hot water to make it warmer but nothing changed. Could you maybe give me a tip please :(
Yes wax intended for molds will harden very fast! But I’m not sure why the pellet wax you use for container candles also hardens fast. The wax I’ve used in the past for container candles was Freedom soy wax or Parasoy-this one is a blend of paraffin and soy but creates beautiful candles with a strong scent! Both waxes work great for piping!

You made this look so simple. Thank you!!!!!!
Thank you for this quick and informative video. ❤😊
Glad it was helpful!
What kind of wax do you use for your icing and can you tell me where you purchase your wood wicks?
Will the wax overflow when the candle is lit? It looks very full
Hi, I'm new to this candle making.
I have a question: Do you use your regular kitchen utensils for candle making?
Or do I need to get some stuff to do it. Thank you in advance ☺️
In my first candle, I made a cupcake from a mold, not very happy with it. But in my second one, I made my daughter a chocolate cereal bowl
Thank you for the video, very helpful! Love the way your wax looks creamy. What kind of wax do you use for the whipped topping?
Happy to hear that, thank you! I used Freedom Soy Wax for the frosting. It looks like real frosting 😃
I used the same wax and it's not coming out that
Hi do you add fragrance oil on whipped wax ? Or only bottom of the wax? I made this but I added in whipped wax so wanted to know more
What’s the ideal temperature range to get the wax to for whipping it?
For whipped wax I don’t actually check the temperature but rather focus on the consistency of the wax. If you already transferred the wax into a piping bag and it’s still too runny, give it a few seconds or minutes, but keep checking so it doesn’t turn hard. It’s a short window!

Any thing u have mixed in the wax, since if we keep aside it will start freezing
Do you use a hand mixer to mix the wax or just a whisk?
I just use the hand whisk!
Quick question. I saw sprinkles in the candle. Where did u get the sprinkles from. N if it’s sprinkles for cakes can I use that in the candles ?
Yes I used real sprinkles!
@@alexakravcraftystudio How do you get your sprinkles to stay? They always fall to the bottom when I pour my wax in.
real sprinkles, dried flowers, coffee beans etc should def not be used in candles. apart from being a fire hazard they smell terrible when burning.
What wax did you use?
Hellooooo, Are you able to name what brand of glassware you are using for your candles?
Size of nozzle pls
What kind of wax you are using? Is it applicable to paraffin wax? Do you have some ingredients added to that? Cause i tried this to paraffin wax but i failed
I used soy wax. I never tired piping paraffin wax so I’m not sure
How do you close these candles jars while selling?
This particular jar doesn’t have a lid
Where did you get your baking pan from ?
Not sure which pan you were referring to? I didn’t use a baking pan in this video
Can you list all the products you use for making your candles please? 🤍
What kind of wax
Thanks 🙏. Can you send the temperature please
No ideal temperature. It’s a bit of trail and error. You just have to keep whisking the wax until you reach the right consistency; not too runny and not too hard.
How do you stop the wax from harden when you go to put it on the candle? Mine keeps hardening as I go to pipe it

Alot of those issues are impacted my temperature.... temp of the room, of the glass and of the wax at pouring ... have you tried controlling temps
@@anamasias9013 I tried pre heating the vessel. It seems to help it a little more. And buying different wax.

Hi can you use just straight paraffin wax yo make the frosting ot would you day stuvk to soy
I’m not sure, I haven’t worked with straight paraffin wax. But I have used a blend called parasoy and it definitely worked!
hey! i use paraffin wax and it works great!!
Thank you! 😊
How do you keep it from Harding so fast
How to clean nozzle? Its hard
I used a heat gun to melt the wax and then wipe it with paper towel

Parasoy wax
