GRATITUDE for sharing the video. I'm still in testing stage trying to get candle making to a science, so i can get started on my business. i also need to do labels as well, i continue to watch videos to gain more knowledge. your candles looking amazing. keep pushing i know i will get it accomplished. Thank You
Thank you so much! It’s great to hear you’re in the testing stage-practice makes perfect! Good luck with your labels and your candle business; you’ve got this! Keep pushing forward!
LOL I was leaning towards the pink on pink. But then the longer I looked at the brighter pink one the more I liked it! But I think the pink on pink is what caught my eye. 😍 Thanks for the video. I love the info you share! 😊
Hi there, welcome to the channel! I'm so glad you found the video helpful for learning piping techniques. 😊 Thanks for watching, and happy crafting! Feel free to ask if you have any questions. Tysm! 🌸✨
Hello! I really love your outcome, and I preferred the red strawberry 😊... I just wanted to ask if dou have a video clip of the same for iced coffee scented candle? If yes, please may I have a look? Thank you so much and I do enjoy your vid. God bless ❤
Great question, @esprawbeads! Whipped soy wax candles can sometimes be more prone to tunneling if the initial burn isn't done properly. To ensure a full melt pool and prevent tunneling, make sure to burn the candle long enough during its first use-usually 3-4 hours or until the entire surface has melted evenly. This helps "train" the wax to melt all the way across during future burns. If you notice tunneling happening, you can fix it by using a heat gun.
@esprawbeads I’m using soy wax, which hardens into a nice, firm texture after it’s whipped. It’s not too soft but gives a lovely, fluffy finish when whipped
Thanks for the suggestion! Making silicone molds is a great idea for a video. I’ll definitely consider creating a tutorial on that. Stay tuned for more content, and thanks for the input! 😊🛠️
Thanks for your question! I’d recommend sticking to candle-safe dyes to ensure they burn safely and evenly. Resin tints may not be safe for candles and could affect the quality of the burn. Always better to be safe! 😊🕯️
Hi, I made white frosting and decorated it with red strawberries, but the red colour on the strawberries fades after a while on the white frosting. Do you have a solution for this?
Hi @netlahnew7920! The fading color might be due to the red dye bleeding into the white wax. To prevent this, try using UV stabilizers or switching to oil-based candle dyes, which tend to hold their color better over time. Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes!
Great question, @romangajek6945! 😊 Piping candle wax can definitely be tricky! The wax needs to be at just the right temperature-warm enough to pipe smoothly but cool enough to hold its shape. If it’s too cool, it thickens and can clog the piping bag. Hope that helps! 🙌
Hi @ShrutiAnilNarkhede! Great question! When selling candles in jars with frosting, I recommend piping the frosting a bit lower so the lid can close securely. Alternatively, if you want that full-frosted look, consider selling the candles without lids or with decorative covers instead. You could also offer a version with less frosting for those who prefer a lid. Thanks for watching!
Hi @brindharamalingam1651! For this technique, I recommend using a #2D or #1M piping tip for a smooth, detailed finish. The linked tip should work well for similar results. Let me know if you have any other questions! Piping Tip amzn.to/3wWhFSp
Hi @khalid_gift! Thanks for your comment. For this design, I didn't use any petals; it's a simpler, piped look. When working with wax, it’s best to avoid intricate or delicate designs like petals, as they can become brittle and break easily. Wax doesn't have the same flexibility as other materials, so simpler, sturdier shapes hold up better. If you're set on creating petal-like details, consider working with a blend that has a lower melting point to improve flexibility. Hope this helps!
Hi @khalid_gift! When making realistic flower candles out of beeswax, here are a few tips to help you achieve the best results: Use high-quality beeswax: Opt for refined, pliable beeswax that is easier to work with for delicate designs. Warm the wax slightly: Gently warming the beeswax sheets or molded shapes can make them more flexible and easier to shape without breaking. Add a softener: Mix a small amount of coconut oil or a similar wax softener into the beeswax to improve pliability for intricate designs. Work in small sections: Create each petal individually and assemble the flower carefully. Working in smaller pieces helps prevent the wax from cooling and becoming brittle. Use gentle tools: Use sculpting tools or your fingers to shape petals and details. A bit of cornstarch on your hands can prevent sticking. With these techniques, you can craft more realistic and durable flower candles. Good luck, and happy candle-making!
It sounds like the wax might be too hard or the nozzle tip could be too small. Try adjusting the wax consistency by warming it a bit more or using a larger tip for easier application. Hopefully, that helps! 😊
The piping tip I used is a Wilton 6B, which is a large open star tip that creates detailed, decorative swirls and peaks. Here is a link amzn.to/48Mxfiq
That does sound frustrating. Try mixing more with the hand mixer and pay close attention to the consistency. You don't want it to get too cool, as it can become difficult to work with. Keep experimenting you'll achieve the desired texture soon!
Hi @lakevalowe4268! If your wax is turning grainy, it could be due to a few common issues: Temperature fluctuations: Make sure you're heating the wax to the recommended temperature for your type of wax and cooling it at a consistent rate. Rapid cooling can cause a grainy texture. Overheating: If the wax gets too hot, it can alter its structure, leading to graininess once it solidifies. Use a thermometer to monitor the temperature and avoid going over the recommended limit (usually around 180°F/82°C for soy wax, for example). Humidity: High humidity in the environment can affect the texture of the wax as it sets. Try working in a dry space to avoid this. Stirring: Ensure you’re stirring the melted wax gently and evenly when adding fragrance or color. Over stirring or uneven mixing can create a grainy result. Adjusting these factors should help you achieve a smoother wax finish. Hope this helps!
Thanks for your question! I’d recommend sticking to candle-safe dyes to ensure they burn safely and evenly. Resin tints may not be safe for candles and could affect the quality of the burn. Always better to be safe! 😊🕯️

I Absolutely Luv Both
Not only are they Cute but also Beautiful ❤
Thank you!
This is very helpful! How long do you let the wax cool before you hand mix?
I want to know if it is important which wax i use for the frosting?😃
Hi new to your channel I’m learning on piping this was very helpful, Tysm

Very great tutorial. Only one question? U use the same wax to make your embed as you did the base of your candle?
Yes I do!
Those burning this type of wax give a full melt pool? Can one have tunneling and how do we fix that?

Can you make a video the amount needed to add in fragrance to your wax and wick size needed.
bright red!!!
I agree, it really makes the candle pop! ❤️🕯️
Please are u using soft or hard wax for the whipped cream wax❤
@esprawbeads I’m using soy wax, which hardens into a nice, firm texture after it’s whipped. It’s not too soft but gives a lovely, fluffy finish when whipped
Hi! Is the wax you used to make and frosting low or high death point?
The wax I use for making and frosting has a melting point ranging from 115-121°F. Here is the link if you want to see it amzn.to/3x9a6rF

Do you have to use a hand mixer. I have a stand mixer. Can I use that?
Yes, you can definitely use a stand mixer instead of a hand mixer.
How do you make like a syrup for the strawberry’s can you use gel wax
Yes you have to use the gel wax and it tints really nicely for a great syrup effect
Hii
What is the creamy thing that you put on the candle ? 0:09 ❤
Hi! That’s whipped soy wax!
Do you know why piping bag gets clogged ?
Great question, @romangajek6945! 😊 Piping candle wax can definitely be tricky! The wax needs to be at just the right temperature-warm enough to pipe smoothly but cool enough to hold its shape. If it’s too cool, it thickens and can clog the piping bag. Hope that helps! 🙌

Hi @Ab-abovetheFirmament! Thank you! 😊
Which type of wax did you use ?
I used soy wax for this whipped candle. You can find it amzn.to/3U4rBBb.
Mine are breaking i mean they become brittle rather than getting flexibe while shaping the petals ... and hence breaks

I just can’t do it ! It was like really sticky and wouldn’t push through the nozzle !

Hi how do you make your labels @@SummerRainDIY
Hi @TraceyJones-tw1kk! These labels actually came with the jars, so I didn't make them myself.😊
@@SummerRainDIY ok thanks
Clean wax with a blow dryer . Out all utensils in boiling water. Wax is never difficult to clean for me❤
I would prefer a more natural strawberry much darker than either
Oh, that's a really good idea! I'll definitely give a much darker shade of strawberry a try.
Wao❤
I agree with you, I think… light pink on light pink. I’m a minimalist tho!😂
Absolutely! The light pink on light pink combo really does have a minimalist charm to it.
you use a different tip ..like, it doesn't swirl ?
