Texas has clear water rivers and lakes also.
Comal river, Guadalupe river, frio river, canyon lake. Google em, excellent camping and wildlife!
Awesome spot & great video , glad Sky got to swim, FYI : I follow a YT who owns property in Oklahoma , with a stream running Thru it, he just told us even though it’s private property anyone can travel or tube the stream, you just aren’t allowed up on shore . 👍🏼 p.s. oh yeah it could have been an otter , that YT guy has them on his property … we’ve never seen any ducks ..

I found your channel because I am learning to fish (or trying at least). I have enjoyed watching your adventures. You probably already know this but as a fairly experienced RV camper I would like to add that if it were raining you would want your awning to slope away from your RV and if possible it would be nice for one outside corner to be lower than the other. This way the water runs off the awning. If I could make a suggestion on this setup I would lower both outside posts (legs) a bit to make a slope away from your RV and then make one post lower than the other. That way the water will readily run off your awning. I travel with 5 mutts so I love what you are doing!
It could just be the camera angle, but it looks like you did not extend the awning completely and a gust of wind could break it. I mean I am not a know it all, just a person who has many folks tell me to either put my awning away or do it right. lol

Please don't go to the Midwest during tornado season again! You were the only one I currently know in the Midwest and now I become paranoid whenever I hear tornado warnings in your area!

I believe that fish is a splake fish? I could be wrong, though. Skye was having a spa day. Just watching her swim, roll in the leaves, walking in the water, more rolling in the dirt, and another dip in the river. You could just see by her actions that that was pure heaven for her. Its been winter. She hasnt been feeling very well and now you can tell she whole heartily enjoyed that spa feeling river outing. Followed by some wonderful relaxing sleep right beside her favorite human.❤ Great video.
Doesn't Gugan have a pair of polarized fishing sunglasses they could send you? If not Bass Pro Shops/Cabelas has you covered. You have amazing fly casting skills, Add a shorter lighter weight rig to your kit. Mav and Lojo don't maintain amazing hair... with a dog ...Becca FTW.!!!

not lactose intolerance, it’s a dairy allergy. which means i can’t at ALL consume dairy

Caramelized Onions are simply the BEST. Give them a try mixed with spicy Sauerkraut on Grilled Hot Dogs 🌭. Add Brown Mustard and it's Winner 🏆 😋.

On that note, maybe an emergency phone is a good idea for you. They are expensive but perfect for you. Satellite phone, so you can call or be tracked should you need help or know the hourly weather especially through tornado alley areas.

Google and, ironically, RUclips would have been your best friends here. That's not how a traditional classic Oklahoma Onion burger is cooked, and no lettuce, no tomato, no bbq sauce. You can add whatever you want though... But, you're supposed to smash thinly sliced onions onto/into the burger as you're cooking the burger. They cook together, fussing the onions and burger together. With a end result of caramelized onions and a seared burger fussed together masterpiece!
Note to self: Clean up outside before you go to sleep. That way you can leave straight away in the AM, even if there are weird animals lurking outside. ;-) Stay safe!

Sup Becca, that awning is awesome, Skye said why swim when can walk lol, awning screamed a burger to me too, yea s&p on burger to be seasoned and let other elements shine, if want other seasonings can add to the inside if want to but why lol, as long as don't add egg and stuff it's not meatloaf, sry for rant lol. OH my granddaughter was pulling weeds from water with a stick and baby crawfish popped out,less than inch long, no shell even, kept one and died even I cried,name was amazing cuz can't even buy one lol. Sry for rants, was without even a phone for over a week recovering.. stay safe on road and camping my friend, I'm back for now,tyvm tc 🎣

I started flyfishing about five years ago and it’s been so much fun. I’ve learned how to tie so many different knots lol but Minnesota has some awesome fisheries if you’re ever in the state hit up south east Minnesota and north east Minnesota, so many fishing opportunities
