He fished for Salmon. The last one he caught was 17 lbs. He smoked and canned it. My mom fed the last jar of it to our neighbors cat "Sneeky". When my dad found out, he was Very Upset...... and swore he would never go fishing again. 😢 Oh, one more thing! He was a mechanic. He taught me how to sand and paint. Those rust spots should Not cost $5000, Do Not let any one try to get over on you!

The easiest way to fix your rust problem is to replace the bed. Find a company that install utility beds they will sell you the bed that they take off. My buddy already gotten a couple for his truck. 5TH wheel trailer damage.Thanks for sharing some of your life.
Great video as usual! And just a thought, but you could cut out the small amount of rust and put some fender flairs over it. Rust stopped and a quick (cheap) cover up. Regardless of it all, keep up the great work!!❤
Im glad you switched to being a more vanlife/camping kinda channel that incorporates fishing. I know nothing about fishing but love the whole vanlife community on youtube and just how people camp and live their day to day on the road. Keep up the awesome videos.

you live in a place were they use a lot of salt in winter i would say just keep it washed off the truck real good it is probly why its rusting and i agree with you that is way to much money to fix

Sand the rust off, try to be as small as possible and not scratch the commercial paint job and spray a cotton swab with Rustoleum high gloss white spray paint and dab it on, smooth it out or a quick spray fairly close to the spot so as not to run. It will be noticeable but not as noticeable as the rust stain. I like a clean truck. You use the truck, things happen, keep it clean, fix the minor details…it just says you use your truck and take care of it in my book.

next time, just put your hand on the shell and hold it down. then you can grab the shell by the tail and pick him up out of the water and put him on dry land. thumb on shell and fingers under belly. keep him facing the water so when you're done he can just run straight into the water. on land you can keep your hand on its back and keep him held down and then you can take your time with the pliers since he won't be moving around so much.

RUST,,,,,I have been fooling with body work on cars for over 30 years. Those rust spots do not look that bad although there is usually twice as much rust as the small specs show, Hire some motor head kid to dig out the rust, patch it and paint it with a a spray can. The color white is a very forgiving color when working on car bodies. I'll bet someone as smart as you could just look up on youtube on how to fix small rust spots and do it yourself. Not worth it to bring to a body shop unless you trust these guys with your life. From my experience most are not very reputable.

I actually watch your videos fully I don't usually watch most other peoples videos all the way through except for maybe Flair and he doesn't do much fishing either Most people go out and catch a bunch of 2-3 pound bass like everyone else does.

#fishingwithbecca I don't know if you know it or if anyone has told you but as far as having rust problems when it comes to vehicles living in new England, California,or anywhere that's coastal to semicoastal that gets a lot of salty air and/or snow you're more subjective to having rust problems earlier in the life of your vehicles or anything metallic
You should definitely get back into hockey. I know you showed you were a goalie but theirs nothing like getting back on the ice. We have a team that we play against in beer league that’s mostly females and they’re actually really good. They do slash a lot due to they can’t really body us as well but other than that they’re a solid team. I just found your channel and so far I’ve enjoyed what I’ve seen. Lace up those skates and get out there and stop some pucks!
You should be happy you dont have a new truck...at least you can go down a tight trail and not have too much anxiety over some scratches or dings...and that last question stung you a bit...13 is not a good age for any kid, some get it worse than others, but its still shit...keep your head up kiddo, you got this.

I love your content, I completely see the toxicity of the fishing community I’ve stopped watching a lot of the creators because they seem to only start drama. Hook up with other creators like vice grip garage or some of those and have them fix your rust spots up! It would be great content I believe
I can tell you for sure that 5 grand is way too much to put patch panels on both sides of your truck and painted, much less on one side, I help out every now and then at a friend of mines collision repair shop that he owns and operates and I can’t believe someone is trying to ask you to pay that kind of money because that’s just absolutely ridiculous priced!

next time, just put your hand on the shell and hold it down. then you can grab the shell by the tail and pick him up out of the water and put him on dry land. thumb on shell and fingers under belly. keep him facing the water so when you're done he can just run straight into the water. on land you can keep your hand on its back and keep him held down and then you can take your time with the pliers since he won't be moving around so much.
that makes a lot more sense. I wish i could’ve got hit out of the water more but the line was super light. i’ll keep this in mind for next time!!!

RUST,,,,,I have been fooling with body work on cars for over 30 years. Those rust spots do not look that bad although there is usually twice as much rust as the small specs show, Hire some motor head kid to dig out the rust, patch it and paint it with a a spray can. The color white is a very forgiving color when working on car bodies. I'll bet someone as smart as you could just look up on youtube on how to fix small rust spots and do it yourself. Not worth it to bring to a body shop unless you trust these guys with your life. From my experience most are not very reputable.

#fishingwithbecca I don't know if you know it or if anyone has told you but as far as having rust problems when it comes to vehicles living in new England, California,or anywhere that's coastal to semicoastal that gets a lot of salty air and/or snow you're more subjective to having rust problems earlier in the life of your vehicles or anything metallic
You should definitely get back into hockey. I know you showed you were a goalie but theirs nothing like getting back on the ice. We have a team that we play against in beer league that’s mostly females and they’re actually really good. They do slash a lot due to they can’t really body us as well but other than that they’re a solid team. I just found your channel and so far I’ve enjoyed what I’ve seen. Lace up those skates and get out there and stop some pucks!

I can tell you for sure that 5 grand is way too much to put patch panels on both sides of your truck and painted, much less on one side, I help out every now and then at a friend of mines collision repair shop that he owns and operates and I can’t believe someone is trying to ask you to pay that kind of money because that’s just absolutely ridiculous priced!
