+tevatenu These guys completely CHANGED my life in '85, when a pal me on the track... and I found 10, 9, 8 ... in HMV on Oxford St (London) ffs...Virgin Megastore also had it, but I liked HMV better coz they had Bird Noises as well! ... hahaha
Why...they are still as loud and proud and the before and after covid shots will give them another unleash of live gigs across this great country of ours..it took a pandemic I think for people to evaluate and value what really was valuable to themselves and us I guess ...but one thing we have always known..midnight oil raise the dust on the red roads from the Alice to the coogee bay palace..from the caringah inn to the "capitol theatre in the vic" they are more than an institution...and how proud to say they are as "Australian as the gadigal land"..
Yeah well down our way it's knocking back a stubble or three..as the temps hit high thirtys in the shade..as dad your brother and I look under the hood and see what all the fuss of the old "e.h holden" that your sisters new boyfriend has bought around for show and tell..like a scene from the cult classic "the castle" my old man whispers to my brother "tell him he's dreaming"..as "no time for games" belts out of the most essential thing in any motor vehicle.. the radio..or then it was stereo ...2mmm fm in stereo..coz they use to whisper as well "triple triple triple your music...coz your ears have brain's"..anyway you enjoy your latte ..which is now probably a flat white lol...
+Brian Robinson Saw Violent Femmes in London in '85, when I first discovered the Oyals... Fk The Femmes... (They were fun, but Oils are a lot more important)
Fui contaminado por essa banda desde que ouvi pela primeira vez " The Dead Heart" em 1987, tive a grande felicidade de os assistir em Belo Horizonte, enfim, grande banda!!!
Peter used to dance around so wildly - did something happen? Did he ever study mine? I think the performance on Oils on the water was dynamite. It was like kung für and mine intertwined. Who's more beloved in Oz - Oils or Rose Tattoo?

Possibly the Oils at their very best.
So many great concerts.
GOAT!
Pure brilliance, wonderful sound, and timeless performances
Midnight Oil, one of the greatest rock bands ever! A reunion would be amazing! Would love to see them one more time!

"One of" NO... THE BEST FKN ROCK BAND THAT HAS EVER EXISTED. (My fave album may be Dark Side of the Moon, but these guys are the VERY BEST)

Why? Because, I haven't been able to go to a concert ! My favorite bands of ALL time !
Nice to have a live version of "Spirit of the Age"!
YES! That's the best part here. Of course every part, and every aspect, of this = perfect.
Great musicianship!! Drinking coffee and rocking out in So California 😆

Cannot wait there return in 2017. Hope there is a new album to go with the tour. Or, at least, an EP.
Peter has released a solo album and it is bloody good 👍 hoping the oils are recording again like cold chisel

Blue man group at 18:57
Midnight Oil >>>> Men at work
US Forces, hell why not.
It's funny how the lead singer isn't even the best singer in the band.
Murray River but there is only one front man 🤚
Bones Hillman - funniest faces I've ever seen
He's also a very funny man.
killer
i hate this concert so much!!!!!!!!
Great show. Yet in 2004 he chose to go into politics. The rest is HISTORY. He left a very shameful legacy for ANY Minister, let alone a new one.....
Piss off Mark.
