You reckon?!! B-24 has transparencies thicker than the bottom of a glass Coke bottle and panel lines dug by a mechanical trenchdigger. 🙄

Will end up getting the Airfix B-24 just to compare with the 72nd Eduard version (Hasagawa). That 48th B-17 by Eduard (HKM sprues) ?? Oh yeah, will be taking up a few slots in the stash. Probably at least 3 of those for sure. And multiple nose options? Oh heck yeah 👍. Very glad to see the Royal sets coming back too. Italari has a few interesting things, but am amped to see what is on way from Special Hobby and some of those smaller kit makers.
Thanks for bringing us with you 👍☕🐢

My preorder is waiting for the container to get to the port. Looks like they all had to go long way around. Should have arrived about 10 days ago originally. Word from the guys at the port talking sometimes this week it's expected in. Your wish may very well come true 👍

@@markstott6689 don't forget you also have the drought in Panama, so many medium-large container ships are either cross docking across the central American railway, or just plain going around the bottom, which is almost as dangerous as the suez route with the storms.
It's damned if you don't, or more damned if you do. At least we have more viable options than the EU/UK peeps. Cape of Africa route means trips going from 26~ish days to around 45. Prickly choice. If you want to go around Cape Horn (South America), remember these three terms: "Roaring 40's", "Furious 50's", and "Screaming 60's". Drake passage and rounding the horn means 56° south latitude. Random icebergs, waves larger than your ship, and howling winds circling the globe unblocked by any land. Sounds like fun going East. It's INTO that mess going west. 😳🫣. And this is summer down there, the nice weather.
Yeah you start to understand how much the Panama canal and West Coast ports are vital in modern economy. (Cape of Africa is around 60° lat for easier trips reference)
Was an apprentice marine mechanic in highschool (skinny kid that could crawl under the engine and change oil LoL) and was offered a gig on banana boats for 3 months back and forth to SA from Florida. Wasn't allowed to go because of the horn run until over 18. Went to logistics instead and am glad for the experience I did get. Now as a 30yr truck driver, am glad to sleep in my own bed every night. I still pay close attention to the overall shipping conditions, and can easily see how much it affects everyday life in this instant gratification era we have.
Just remember, there are people on those ships, unloading those containers, and drivers getting them where they need to be. Mother nature gives enough fits to the best laid plans, people's conflicts aren't really needed to F* things up more 😂🤣😜
Happy Birthday ahead of things, and enjoy your kits and family 👍☕🐢

Hector, keep in mind this is a trade show, not modelling contest. This is specifically for dealers, suppliers, distributors, and stores. There is no general public there. Showing the kit assembled and it's options is for completely different purposes. Dusan and others you are seeing videos and pictures from are there because they are badged as "Press".
For reference, that Eduard booth is about $400,000 to build and prep, not including the setup or the booth space. I've hauled stuff to trade shows, and those setups are very pricey very quickly. It's not until the end of the world wide trade shows do they get to bring them to public allowed shows like IPMS nationals etc. that's when they are already planning and building the next years setups and take the holidays off from shows. Even with model kit manufacturers, it's all a similar pattern to the calendar. There's reasons why Telford and IPMS nationals are in the fall, and trade only shows in the early part of the year. 👍

Airfix and its trench depth panel lines. Ugh! Why I avoid the brand like the plague! They went rivet berserk in the late 1960s. And for the past decade, crazy on panel lines which would make Verdun's fortification system look inadequate.🙄
