As usual Mike inspiring to have fun while drumming and being creative with simple things that could turn magic putting some heart on it... thank you Mike for being true, humble and supportive.
wow 2010... I still use this pattern to warm up and play on the kit for the start of fill ideas. Literally play this pattern at least once a day while messing about on the practice pad
I feel your pain there. My pre-show warmup consists of lugging my equipment from my house to the carpark (400-500m away), from the venue's carpark to the venue, back to the car after the show, and from MY car park to my house when I'm parked. It befuddles me why I'm not any fitter than I am. Lol
wow, this one burns if you do it long enough, especially if you hit the accents on the tom(s) ... thanks Mike, I'll keep this one in my repertoire, not just for warm up
my first drum teacher used to that all the time, looked right in my face first lesson for about a 5 minutes doing a pretty horrendous beat - I changed teacher's after about 3 lessons :P
Another great and easy and short warm-up is involving all paradiddles, but in a different way: Paradiddle x4, double paradiddle x 4 triple paradiddle x 4 and then just count down so 4, 3, 2, 1. Its short, easy and works very well. :D Try that out too guys
I said one thing not even an insult just my opinion that happens to be negative and I get blocked from subscribing or even commenting on your channel Mike! I can't believe it

Screw the warmup, I"m using that paradiddle pattern as a tasty lick!
can someone post the full pattern using R and L's? I cant figure it out by just watching
I prefer doing triple-triple-double-double-single..so you switch hands after each repetition.
reminds me almost exactly of "wipeout"
Dude..I like to play the drums so I'm reading to lift weights, get the blood going for that....but I hear ya, warming up is important!
wat would be the sticking for that ?
pretty much!
fuck how much faster can he go?
