wow 2010... I still use this pattern to warm up and play on the kit for the start of fill ideas. Literally play this pattern at least once a day while messing about on the practice pad

I feel your pain there. My pre-show warmup consists of lugging my equipment from my house to the carpark (400-500m away), from the venue's carpark to the venue, back to the car after the show, and from MY car park to my house when I'm parked. It befuddles me why I'm not any fitter than I am. Lol

wow, this one burns if you do it long enough, especially if you hit the accents on the tom(s) ... thanks Mike, I'll keep this one in my repertoire, not just for warm up

Another great and easy and short warm-up is involving all paradiddles, but in a different way:
Paradiddle x4, double paradiddle x 4 triple paradiddle x 4 and then just count down so 4, 3, 2, 1. Its short, easy and works very well. :D Try that out too guys

I prefer doing triple-triple-double-double-single..so you switch hands after each repetition.
