Am I the only one here who watches all the nail art videos on YT but NEVER actually try it out? How I love my itsy-bitsy nails! I never forget to cut/trim my nails every 2nd/3rd day! LOL!
Yes! :D I'm watching quite a few lately though I never paint my nails. I like my nails short, too. It is so annoying and uncomfortable if they are longer! I will never understand girls that like to have long nails. Your hands become useless.

Hi! To answer you on the long nails case, mine are usually quite long, I let them grow without thinking about it and trim them only when they break. I hate feeling things with the very top of my fingertips, it's like too sensitive and long nails are actually helpful' for a lot of stuff : parting your hair, scrubbing something, gentle massage, cleansing a dust in your eyes... and of course self defense! ;) the point is long nails are (really)comfy to some people they don't necessarilly are fashion constristricted.

tbh i literally buy glitter and confetti polish FOR the scattered look bc it's low maintenance. chipping is barely noticeable, easy to update, and yet my nails still have a little something on

You can also just paint a clear coat and dip into a loose glitter !!

Paint a clear coat, wait till it is kinda tacky, and then rub the glitter in with your finger. If it's holo, if not just dump.

Ok, your way makes a BIG difference, I used to do it the first was and do many layers but your way is so much easier and better!! Thank you so much it a wonderful help 💅🏻💅🏻❤️
The right way to do this is the way u like it.some people like the light glittery look vs the heavy look. It's all personal preference not right or wrong.
She said that if you want the glitter to look like it looks in the bottle then there's a correct way to apply it.

Nelly is correct, this is just the correct way to APPLY it for full coverage, not necessarily the right way to WEAR it :P
Sometimes I just like a little glitter. Other times like hers. It's preference.

I watched this video a year ago and have used this technique on so many different styles. Most recently, I used the same sponge to add "snow" to my nails for a little snowman art. I used it for super glittery new years party nails and to get a nice even, sheer coat of color on top of a design. Endless uses.

If that's the intended look why not use the base coat before it dries followed with Glitter shaker (Fine milled to preferred size) sprinkled over the tacky polish? It's cheaper & the Glitter can be recycled. If one uses a collection paper under the hand to catch the fallout.

I do that all the time and it looks great. It's like $6 for 12 or more awesome colors at walmart. So much cheaper this way. Do base coat, sprinkle glitter, top coat. It's very nice.
I was thinking the same thing!
Because it's time consuming and not all glitter is compatible with clear nail polish it can alter the way the glitter looks on your nails especially when it dries.

Eh, depends on what you're trying to achieve with the glitter. If I've got tip wear but need to get another day or two before I have time to do a complete polish change then a quick swipe over the tip is entirely fine. It doesn't need to be anywhere close to complete coverage. I'm just looking for the glitter to disguise the tip wear by covering some of it and by providing a pattern that makes wear less obvious.

I prefer the 'wrong' look on your thumbnail, don't know why but always like it.

I personally have a matching base colour underneath unless it’s a jelly base glitter
So just buy the glitter and use a clear polish to stick it on.
