I love the impressionistic vibe of this game's artwork. It adds a lot to the story! 🙂
30:20 The year is 1927 (or some years past), before the WWII (the notes you found have dates in them). Those people probably wouldn't even understand the phrase "environmentally friendly"
Such a fun game, half chill fishing game, half Lovecraftian horror. It's rare I 100% a game but this is so worth it! So happy you're doing a series on it, you'll love it.
I haven't heard of this game before, and it's usually not my cup of tea to be honest; but of course when you add that special ingredient, that unique Welonz charm, it changes everything !!
To my surprise, I'm finding myself really enjoying the "Netfish & Chill" vibes of this game, with the slightly ominous undertones that are being hinted at by the characters, I'm Glad you picked this up, it's the perfect kind of let's play to throw on while having dinner or something, if you know what I mean ^_^, take care Welonz
Net Fish + Chill = *chef's kiss
Fischer Welonz reporting for duty. A very simple yet fun and intriguing game. Hope you enjoy it and welcome back!
I can't believe you're finally playing the game that made you say "FISH" more times than the previous titleholder of the channel…
Mass Effect 2 😂
Every time I pass by an aquarium I hear Welonz whispering in the back of my mind, and I get the strong urge to ask the owner if they've been fed yet.
You know I just saw another lets player play this game just the other day. Well I saw the ending cause it looked interesting. I was trying to decide if I should watch the rest of it, and when I saw this my mind was made up. I’m watching yours. You are one of my favorite lets players. Your talent, smart, intuitive, brave ( when you need to be). Best of all you hardly leave anything out, which I love. When ever a game has multiple endings you always saw them all which I appreciate. I don’t have access to a lot of these games, or they aren’t my style, but I’m still interested in the story and through you I feel like I can experience the story without playing the game, so thank you for that Welonz. I now wish I never watched the other video, so I can experience this one with you. Oh well, it was just the ending, so most of the game is still blind for me.
P.s this game does have multiple endings. Had to watch another lets player to see the other one, but with you, nope. All endings for Welonz, and again thank you for that. I know that must have took a lot of work for some of these games.
Materwelonz!!!! T-T You just never miss with your series... Thank you so much for posting it, I was bored out of my mind recently and thought to myself "Maybe she will soon play Dredge, haha =)" and then this. Thank you so much, I think this will be a great game for you.
I love this game! I played it when it was released and I'm gonna watch it here again. Nautical horror/suspense is a genre I'd love to see a lot more of in all types of media.
Did you try Sunless Sea? Highly recommend.
@@Kumagoro42 Yeah, i wish more people would experience it, but by todays standards it is SLOOOOW.
Im gonna asume you played Subnautica, but if you didnt, do it.
Yep, played all of them: Subnautica, Sunless Sea and a few others. But they're still few compared to the usual zombie apocalypse or phychological horror settings, in games and especially in movies.
I knew nothing about this game, but I love the peaceful-yet ominous atmosphere... and it also made me want to watch you play Subnautica, not gonna lie :D
if you do a search on the channel I have played Subnautica before :D
@@Welonz Damn I didn't know that !!! Guess I know what I'm doing haha.
@@Welonz But you could keep with the nautical theme for the summer and play my favorite, Call of the Sea. :)
@@Welonz Interestingly enough, I wanted to re-watch your Subnautica play-through during your hiatus. I searched and searched your Playlist page, and couldn't find it. I ended up using your pages' search function, and found episode 1 and started from there, but I never found the actual playlist. I don't know how RUclips works, but is it possible that there's a max number of playlists you can show on a page? I was also curious if it's possible to create a playlist category that lists your play-throughs in game name alphabetical order. Again, I don't know how RUclips pages work so...
@@bennett8535 that's strange, I just did a search for "subnautica" on the channel and the playlist is the very first result. You definitely don't have to look through the playlists page like that, even a RUclips-wide search for Materwelonz/Welonz + (game name) should bring you to the right videos. In any case - if you can find 1 video of the series, I always put the playlist link in the description.
Watching you play this feels very peaceful. It'll be nice to have a new comfort series - I've already watched VA-11 Hall-A like three times over.
Wow, this looks really chill, yet seems to have some sort of ominous feel looming over it. Really excited for this one!
Hey, I was planning to pick this up this month! I've seen a full playthrough of Dredge already, but I'd be remiss if I didn't watch another one with that Fisherwelonz spin on it. :3
8:00 Can't wait for Bone Marrow as the next location.
YAAAAAAS, piggybacking on a comment below, to cheer on: FISHERWELONZ!
Eyyy i was hoping you'd play this! This has such chill yet tense vibe at the same time, its amazing!
Oh man I was really intrigued by this game when I saw it on Steam not played it myself I shall watch ep1 and decide if it's for me or not. I have to say I love the art style!
I've been watching archived content for a while now, I'm glad to finally be able to watch a series as it comes out

Awesome indie game. Let's see if it makes you want to go home.
Looking forward to the series I heard it is good, but I don’t know Dredge myself, so excited to learn about the game with y‘all.
I've heard a lot of good things about Dredge. I can't wait to see where this goes!
I sure hope Welonz is better at Tetris than another letsplayer I've seen play this ...

Dredgerwelonz
This game is awesome despite being an indie and i even hate horror games
Man i missed your voice
Hi, did you change anything in your audio setup? Your voice never sounded so good and natural.
This isn't a bad game but it's a bit repetitive at times. I'm currently hooked into playing Digimon games right now though.
Any chance for an Omori let's play in the future?
