      I would assume you are referring to the phone vibrating on the glass?

    Awesome work man, love those budget builds. Is it 28 balanced, roller block , cast crank ? This build reminds me of the one Chris Watson aka project stock bottom end!

      @Wheelsupracing  10 месяцев назад

      Thank you! It’s an f4te roller block, just like it came in 1994 out of an f150. It’s a stock crank, rods and pistons. I’m shooting for 8s with it, but I think I have to put some new bearings in it. Been moving and busy, but should be uploading some new videos soon

      Nice, I cant wait to see that !!!! Seen a video of yours looked like you were at Orlando speed? If you ever go there again maybe you give us a heads up , really would like to see that car race ? Been doing a lot of research on what actually cracks the 302 and 351 and can't seem to get a definite answer, I mean there is so much talk but no concrete evidence other than the block after it has already cracked. Even the owners that crack the block might say well I think it had 700 to wheel. In your experience, is it stock internals, rpm, tune or just bad luck? @@Wheelsupracing

      @@raulh802 I would say tune and RPM/balance have a lot to do with what breaks them. The rods do have a HP limit but you will usually bend them before you break them. I’ve broken a lot of pistons on what I assume was a bad tune up/ bad injectors. I travel all over the place for work but next time I’m around Orlando I will definitely let you know. I did break one block. Broke the main webbing out of it on the number 2 cylinder. I do turn mine high RPM though and don’t run a girdle.

    Did you make any specific video in terms of what you did to the engine? Is it really a stock bottom end, stock, pistons, stock rods, stock crank.

    • @Wheelsupracing
      @Wheelsupracing  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yes it was a completely stock bottom end. Down to the bolts. It was pulled from a 95 f150. I put my HV oil pump,oil pan, my Chinese heads and intake. I also put my custom cam in it and my isky short travel lifters. The only thing I would have done differently is kept the rpm limited to 6800 ish. I was turning it to 7200 at the shift and it ate the bearings out of it.

      @Wheelsupracing  6 месяцев назад +1

      I did melt a piston due to some trash getting into an injector. That video is on here somewhere and you can see it’s a stock piston.

      @@Wheelsupracing : i’m a lot older than you I’ve been into Fords since the late 1970s. That’s really amazing. I’m in Vancouver Canada. It takes smarts and mechanical intuition to do what you did. Great work.
      In my opinion Bang for the buck if you’re on a budget, you can’t beat Gord in terms of making cheap horsepower. I currently have European Fords I have two Ford escort Cosworth, 1992 and 1995, the same car that Ken Block had. I’m selling them and shifting over to 2017 or 2018 Ford focus RS with the engine remapped to about 425 hp.

      Ended up at 26 psi to run a 9.44 at 152. Block held on fine. Cap walk took out the main bearings.
