I am not sure what is meant by "stock bottom end" but I doubt stock cast pistons can hold up to 22lbs of boost for very long even with perfect ignition timing and A/F mixture. I won't even mention detonation. However, a 351 Windsor block, crank and rods are capable of holding up to the extreme pressure of 22lbs of boost if the engine is tuned right. Nice build Bro!

Mines the on3 bracket but I have a 3g alt that’s smaller than the factory alt in size and I still had to pull it very very tight to the water neck to get it to clear. There was a couple of issues. That’s what the dyno is for. Ended up running 9.44 152 at the track. Had a few boost leaks causing the boost to not come in till right at the end of the pull and the Holley was doing some weird stuff with the rev limiter.

Stock bottom end, 351 Windsor and on this pass it had a C4 in it but now it’s got a powerglide in it. Got Chinese 190 heads with a Chinese intake and 80 mm Borg Warner. It runs on a terminator X max. Full Interior street car that weighs 3450 with me in it. This summer I’m gonna be switching some stuff around shooting for mid eights. I’ve got a converter coming for it. I think I’m gonna build the 393 to put back in it and I’m going coil near plug. I went out of town for a week for work, but when I get back I plan on starting to pull trans and motor out.

@@slow5ive.0 Facebook marketplace. I actually just got a set of AFR 220 renagades to put on it. Gonna stick with the Chinese intake for now though.

Just now watching your vids , sucks you couldn’t get it to hold. My 2 c4s I built for our cars haven’t had any issues the foward clutches damage I bet is from too much clearance that’s also why the lower spring probably broke. What clearances did you set them at ? Or were they set at ?

Tried and true .10 per clutch.

I think the biggest issue is I’m making more power than it seems. I think that I have a combo issue with gearing and converter. I know for sure there’s people running faster than me with pretty stock 4r70w and having no issue and I kept breaking hard parts. Broke an input shaft and twisted multiple direct drums. Another thing is my car is heavy. 3450 with me in it. Most foxes are on diets and weigh 3000 or less.

@@Wheelsupracing that’s pretty loose man the foward clutches must be set in the low to mid 20s but yes your right that is really heavy for a c4 our cars are only in the 2800-3000s as well

@@boosted_3478 sorry I ran .05 on the forward and .10 on the direct per clutch. Had to look through the notes on my phone lol. My car has never been put on a diet. All stock interior down to the insulation and AC box. With all the safety stuff added to the car it’s fat for sure. This winter I’d like to put a tubular k member in the car and maybe a tubular front end to help loose some weight.
