draven has to be next to jhin a hard ADC to learn why most dont play him and just ban him bc its ppl getting shit on. and most dont know how to play against him you need a support that can CC good and that has good defense morg works good against him so does sona and senna.

Not only to play against. Vars once said that every adc and suport player has a lower chance of winning when Draven is in the match. This champion somehow has a negative psy impact on everyone in that match.

This reminds me of the korean Draven one trick that duoed with a thresh and at the 6 minute mark they would just kill the enemy IN THEIR FOUNTAIN on repeat, literally keeping 3-4 enemy team in their fountain and kiling them if they step out

Draven was meant to be a early game bully that falls off compared to other adcs in late. Except thats not what happens he just kills you in 2 autos regardless of game length while also having a permanent movement speed steroid, gold generation passive, displacement ability and execute
Also no combat passive (compare to caitlyn headshot or jinx resets for fucking infinite AS), less DPS than most crit ADCs and backloaded damage in axes (same problem as yasuo not having anything to stack Q3 on), no ranged abilities like cait q / jinx w, no range steroid like ad twitch, and ult is pretty bad tbh.
Nah he does fall out. But late game is pushed to like...18mins when playing draven. Bot lane is cleaned and every naturally starts migrating mid. And he's still op at that time.

Draven falls off in the sense that he can't 5v5 for shit, his skirmishing is insane. Dude is the king of 2v2s and 3v3s but there's just too much to avoid in a 5v5.
His damage never really falls off but he will have to drop axes or risk dying to catch them in full on brawls. The execution required to play him late game is why he falls off unless you're insane at the champ.

As a cait one trick, I don’t mind most dravens, but really good dravens have the mind game of max range stand aside interrupting 650 range nets, so they can bait your net, and force you off the wave. Cait doesn’t win trades, her whole kit is based around free damage disengages, and zoning.
Jinx, Samira, Nilah, and even Lucian with an Enchanter Supp such as Nami/Janna should help you there compared to Caitlyn's lockout in lane

The reason draven is bad, is because riot did 3 things.
1. Buffed on hit to be rediculously strong. Kraken hits like 450 and bork the same per auto these days.
2. Buffed crit, but not Draven crits. Aka ad didn't go up, it went down, but crit damage modifiers went up.
3. Increased base hp and nerfed armor items and as such made a DAMAGE meta. Draven cannot play league if his axes do the same % health as all champions do.
Draven is only going to be strong if riot maxes a crit% ratio on his Q and keeps the current power too.
Riot would literally need 2k axe throws for draven to be viable now in league of ekko does 1.4k on his E alone vs chogath.

I don't remember the name of the channel/account, but i recall a while back finding a channel which would constantly run draven/thresh bot lane and regularly end up with like 50+ kills by surrender.

Jhin is my go to atm. Two matches my support disconnects, and I still win lane with 0 deaths all match. Both victories. If any adc can properly juggle and 5v1, it's Jhin.

Draven with any hard cc bot lane support just seems to eat the entire lane no matter what. Draven's absurd damage is just too big to ignore especially when you're stunned for 1 or 2 seconds and have to take it all. What a cool champion.

a late comment, but skarner support has a 15% max health skillshot that also adds 5% of his max health as damage, W shields, slows and hits enemies through minions, E is a get away for free card or a stun that scales off max health and his ult can disable three people. Getting chunked for 15% every 7 seconds is not fun (i play skarner support, its not fun for the enemy botlane)

His crits are insane late game.

He does actually fall off lategame compared to other adcs, but if you give him enough money early there is no coming back
also most carries can shoot him with longrange abilities(jinx,ezreal,kogmaw,jhin, aphelios etc.)
outrange him and kill him before the auto goes through(caitlin, tristana, jinx, kogmaw, twitch etc.)
or oneshot him first(mf, jhin, trist etc.)
strongest way to kill him though is to get a teammate to cc him in any way, draven struggles with avoiding it due to having 0 dashes and is still an adc, which means a lux support combo can make him disappear

Draven's range is piss poor and slowing him down is a death sentence
because hes ass lategame, he only gets strong if your adc is weak by comparison, and that only really happens with really early game adcs, or draven got fed, everyone else can just outrange or cc his ass to death, any ashe, kogmaw, caitlyn, jinx, vayne, varus can outrange him or just ouright kill him in a 1v1 because they have his counters built into their kit
so i supported for my friend two days ago. i played blitz and he played draven. Our opponents were Janna and Smolder. Sounds like the perfect game. Well my friend shat the bed and ran it into the weakest early game bot ever

rav my friend i dunno how long you have been playing, but when draven was released his passive was basically darius passive ( u know cuz they're brothers), but only when u had Q active, so yeah, i have a vivid memory when i was fed (silver elo ofc) and one-shot everything like literally 1 basic and they bled to death. draven now is weak af compared to seasons 3 4 or smth
