I'm so happy I found you on here because I really love the honesty and in depth examples you teach. I really wish there was an plastic overlay of each rose petal placement that would help me allot. I think my strokes need work but you sure give me hope thanks. keep teaching us .

I've watched perhaps 27 rose tutorials as a very very novice artist but this tutorial is by far the best one! and you have a lovely calming voice !!! i especially appreciated the stroke technique explained in the beginning. true respect to you

It varies by the size of the design and rose, but in this lesson I use a #10 flat for the smaller rose and #12 flat for the larger.

Loading the brush is the most important thing in this technique and you never show it.
