Thank you so much! This is such a thoughtful video. Being able to see you move your hand and make the stroke makes a great addition to the one stroke books. I'm fairly clumsy and this has done me a world of good.
Pam I came across this one stroke technique and I just love it. I am a paper crafter and stamper. Is there a way to create the one stroke on card stock 4.25 x 5.50 inch. All examples I've seen is with much larger brushes. Also what is the best paper for this type acrylic paint. You are a great instructor. Thank you, in advance, for your time. 🌷
I use the card stock that you would put in the printer some times, but usually if I am going to be on paper I like the watercolor #140 cold pressed. It can hold up to the water content of the acrylics very well. When I started painting it was usually on wood, the surface I had the most of, I have also used Canson 90# multi media tablets. Yes you can use smaller brushes and get a similar effect.
Sorry for the delayed response, for some reason the comments are not being sent to me like they are supposed to. Yes you can paint smaller, just use the size brush to fit your surface. The strokes will be the same. I often paint on card stock and that works just fine, I also paint on watercolor paper, wood and mulit media paper. I hope this helps.
Miss Pamela, Joe and Perla here in Guatemala, we have enjoyed your video, and we subscribed.
