Terrific video Andrea. I love you using the crayons over red rubber stamps. Can't wait to try that one for myself. And your daughter at the end, was just the icing on the cake. Thank you!:)
Loved it! I’ve been craving more tutorials on using water solvable pastels with mixed media. Just wonderful! absolutely loved the comments by your daughter:) Great design outcome too. Thank you!
You and your daughter are both sweet!! I love watching you create! You are truly an artist! Your little daughter would now be 9 years old! I hope you post some more videos! You are so talented and fun to watch.
Thank you for that tutorial. I bought some water soluble crayons for two of my granddaughters for Christmas but we had been struggling to make them ‘work’ in a way we liked them. Now we can ‘practise’ this technique together. Loved the inclusion of your daughter’s advice!
In one 14 min video you answered every question I had been scouring videos and the internet for the past hour to find. Thank you for that wealth of information. Your daughter sounded so concerned and adorable! Im off to make an online purchase now...
Thanks for showing us these great techniques. I bought some water soluble pastels ages ago and haven't used them yet. I want to use them in my art journal but wasn't sure how to use them. Hope you have some more videos like this, I will sure to watch them! I love the tag that you created.
I actually liked the darker black splatter more, lol! Your daughter is too cute. Kids are the best critics. Be blessed and thanks for sharing your techniques.
Out of the mouths of babes 😄😄😄. Sounds like she's way older than her years. Thanks for showcasing watersoluble oil pastels-there isn't much out there on them-even 2 years later as I post this.
Really enjoyed this video. I have some oil pastels, so will try the process. The voiceover is very informative. Then the gem at the end! Stay safe. Lynne - UK.
Can I ask how do you seal this so it diesnt rub off on other pages can you use just one sealer with all your different type of art medians you used....I'm sensitive to smells so I was hoping that I could used dorlannwax sealer on a oil finished art project instead of a spray type of sealer.....
In the video you are using a stencil and titanium white paint which in my opinion is not at all essential for using the pastels! If a particular art work you are planning, things like that may be useful. But when a viewer of channel who wants to understand about the pastels is visiting for the first time, it would have been best to limit the instructions in the video to plain pastel and techniques of using it. Further, I did not understand why you used the stencil because immediately you lifted it off and then started rubbing more paint using your finger and flattening it. Then what was the reason for using the stencil ?

Both of these are made by mungyo. Mungyo also makes prima watercolors. Thank you for sharing. Great video. Much ❤ from Nashville
Thank you for the different techniques! I love your daughter’s cute commentary at the end. ❤️

this is wonderful ... does it need a varnish type on top of the tag after all is said and done
Hi there. Thanks for the video. Was that primer at the beginning on the stencil ?
I have these and have never used them outside of swatching!

Would these work on Bristol Vellum paper?
I believe Lindsay the Frugal Crafter said Mungyo makes the watercolors and oil pastels for Prima. I'm not positive, though.
A lot of people have asked questions in the comments but you’ve not answers any of the questions?
These are the same pastels technically, because Mungyo produces watercolours and oil pastels for Prima.
Oh my gosh, where'd you go?! You haven't posted in 11 months! D:

Why is it called oil ? How is it different to watersoluble sticks/crayons ???
