  • Check out Brian "Pigman" Quaca as he shoots his 2011 Bear Carnage and proves just how accurate and consistent the Whisker Biscuit Arrow Rest can be.
    Don't believe what the competition wants you to believe; the Whisker Biscuit is an accurate, consistent arrow rest and it DOES NOT cause a significant loss of arrow speed.

      ***** My point is that it is easy to make fun of someone online and you lack the stones to do it elsewhere. Reel Steel Anglers made a simple comment regarding a question and you tore him a new one. Trolls like you make experiences online hostile and frankly you could walk of a cliff for all I care. No one is impressed with your bullshit so shovel it somewhere else.

      ***** You have already stated your opinions. Look. If you can't post without going on a temper tantrum then maybe you should take a nap an finish your bottle. You are proving my point. Stepping into a conversation with nothing more than cheap insults and loud opinions does not make you right. Some may like a feature of other sights and it is not your job to judge. I enjoy using a wicker biscuit myself but that is a personal preference. I am not going to shove it on other people because what works for me may not work for them. If someone makes a decision based on poor information I will inform them but there is no need to badger someone. I only remarked aggressively towards you to show how pointless it is. No one gains anything when you do that. Now because you tore him a new one do you really think he is more likely to make a change? No because you now have misrepresented that company. Think before you post or you will be a troll.

    • @masterof1
      @masterof1 8 лет назад +1

      ***** Separately I will also say that I agree with you a 90 + yard shot is unethical and does give hunters a bad name. However your posts give them a bad name as well. Just be cognizant of the negative views on hunters before you go nuts that's all. If anything that I said offends you then I do apologize. Harsh awakenings can sometimes be more effective then meek posts but that is only if you or another are met with aggression. That is my opinion not fact.

    If you use the heavier arrow, the whisker biscuit will not affect your accuracy much. The arrow weight will absorb any disturbance cause by the friction of the brush and the vanes. It's when you use the lighter arrow.

    I had a whisker biscuit on my old Hoyt Supertec. I went to a NAP Apache drop away on my new Hoyt Faktor 30, but I just ordered a new whisker biscuit for the Faktor. I love the containment on the biscuit vs the drop away, and have never had an issue with inaccuracy or frozen whiskers in EXTREME cold weather. All you do is run your digits through the biscuit both ways, and store your bow in your rig in the cold. If you have a room temp bow and go out into freeZing conditions it will condense and freeze up. You do the same with a rifle and scope, so your scope doesn't fog up and frost over.

    • @bowhunter8556
      @bowhunter8556 8 лет назад

      +ken k (outdoors) ken, the ONLY issue i have with a biscuit is they have a SLIGHT scratch sound when drawn as the arrow glides across the fibers/hairs. In a the dead still deer woods it is LOUD lol if ya know what i mean. That is the main reason i choose my drop away over the biscuit

  • @RealRadNek

    I was just out today practicing at 80 yards which is how I spend most of my practice time as it makes me a much better shooter at close range. I was shooting good but not quite as good as you Pigman. However, I was not using the Whisker Biscuit. WB is a great containment rest if you want slower arrow speed and vanes that are twisted and contorted after about 25 times run through the rest. I owned one and got tired of all the fletching issues. Most fall aways beat it hands down IMO. If you like Trophy Ridge, I would bet one of those fall away versions would cost you much less money in the long run with fletching issues if you paid the extra $20-$30 for the TR drop away version. All the best Pigman. Thanks for sharing.

    i always shoot a whisker biscuit and has no problem as much as the drop away..the drop away is great for 3d shooting, but i wouldn't use it to hunt, cause i have seen to many times when a hunter loses its arrow shaft or it bounce of the rest and you're at half/ full draw...now that's why i use the whisker biscuit for hunting.

    It's now June 2016 and I just purchased this bow from Ebay. It was in
    crappy shape but I resurrected it! This bow is the s**t, I've wanted
    this bow since 2011 when it was introduced. Don't buy the hype when bow
    manufacturers come out with a "new" bow which is the same junk with a
    different color, a new decal, and some bulls**t advanced technology $1000 (huh, Mathews).
    The Carnage is a solo cam bow with an BO of 345...get it? And it just
    looks sweet with it's organic vibe and green cam and idler. The last
    bow I'll buy.

    They kill my fletchings but after battling with a QAD hunter that was making it impossible to tune my broadheads I went and got a TR whisker biscuit. 10 minutes problem solved broadheads, and field points are literally scraping the carbon off each other at the target.
    Gonna have to learn how to fletch though and get some glue because in 10 minutes I lost 2 blazer vanes. Still no tuning issues, accurate I can live with the fletching issue.
