My question is how these people are so good at everything. Like, I arch, and I'm ok. But the best archers I know could never do most of this stuff. And they do this stuff with every sport ever. It bothers me that they're so good at EVERYTHING.
They aren't good at all sports necessarily. Half the shit they do is just throwing something a long distance and hoping it goes in. Not to mention after doing so many of these, and trying for hours to get one shot, you would hope they picked up at least a little bit.

Cool trick shots. What's a better bow for a noob, a compound or a recurve? I'm leaning towards recurve since it's a bit more "primitive" and doesn't make things easier like a compound does.
Recurve if you want to get your feet wet, compounds cost a bit more. The important thing is to make sure you don't go overkill on the poundage, 30-40 is enough if you're doing target shooting, maybe 50 if you're a strong person and want to hunt small game.
I shoot selfbows that I make out of trees..... Every bow I own was made by me and free from nature.... That's more primitive, modern recurves aren't remotely primitive.
Thats why its called "Trick Shots", because they trick you into thinking they hit it in one shot on their first attempt. Otherwise the title is misleading.

Ironically you don't even need a pipe to curve the arrow.

Most beginners start with recurve, but starting with a compound isnt easy either. Honestly, its all about personal perference
