This was the very first Dude Perfect video I have ever watched. Watching it in 2021 never gets old. But let’s just say that I’ve seen every single Dude Perfect video, regardless if they were cringe.
This was an awesome watch. I did a bit of archery a few years ago but didn't continue it. I'm now thinking of giving it another go, seeing how much fun you guys have!

Actually, you can even curve an arrow shoot using nothing but a bow.
Ironically you don't even need a pipe to curve the arrow.
If you slow the video down you can see the back of the arrow still in the pipe when another arrow comes out the other end

It must take hundreds of tries to get it done judging by how vigorously they celebrate. I know I would be jumping around.
Nice aim job with compound arch XD I want see the same shoots with a traditional Mongol recurve bow.
My question is how these people are so good at everything. Like, I arch, and I'm ok. But the best archers I know could never do most of this stuff. And they do this stuff with every sport ever. It bothers me that they're so good at EVERYTHING.
They aren't good at all sports necessarily. Half the shit they do is just throwing something a long distance and hoping it goes in. Not to mention after doing so many of these, and trying for hours to get one shot, you would hope they picked up at least a little bit.
Connor Smith They aren't good at the sports they do, its one specific shot that they practise loads of times over. Anyway, after doing it for so long they probably all have a nack for learning trick shots :P You'd be surprised if they didn't.
Connor Smith most worked at sports camp for years, months on end teaching these things.
Connor Smith They were all basketball players, and each of them did different sports over their childhoods. They try these over and over again until they get it, so they aren't on point all the time
They take multiple takes for each shot. The huge slingshot took 2 days to get just right.

Guys, fake or not, I found this video entertaining and really cool. All the people who are complaining and ruining the fun, are just jealous or they think they're being "smart." Now here is my opinion:
I honestly think this is REAL. I mean come on, nothing's impossible, just some things have a lower possibility of happening. So just stop judging, quit being obnoxious and ruining the fun out of this video, and just please move on to your lives. There are much more productive things you can do other than cuss out and humiliate people. Jeez.

What's a better bow for a noob, a compound or a recurve? I'm leaning towards recurve since it's a bit more "primitive" and doesn't make things easier like a compound does.
Most beginners start with recurve, but starting with a compound isnt easy either. Honestly, its all about personal perference
Recurve if you want to get your feet wet, compounds cost a bit more. The important thing is to make sure you don't go overkill on the poundage, 30-40 is enough if you're doing target shooting, maybe 50 if you're a strong person and want to hunt small game.
I shoot selfbows that I make out of trees..... Every bow I own was made by me and free from nature.... That's more primitive, modern recurves aren't remotely primitive.

Techinically these guys wouldnt have a chance against those characters in real life. Heres why; Studios hire actors/actresses to play those characters, Studios hire actual archery professionals with way more actual skill than these guys to teach the actors how to shoot, studios hire creative thinkiners and physics PHD's to develop actual trickshots and not target practice (besides 2;21), they all work together to film scenes with real archery trickshots and then post on youtube or make millions in the box office.
