Abstract Orchestra & MF DOOM - Abstract Villain

Have you ever wondered how the villainous MF DOOM would sound rapping over a live jazz orchestra? Abstract Villain merges the lyricism of the masked villain with the live jazz renditions (performed by Abstract Orchestra) of Madlib beats heard off the critically acclaimed Madvillainy album as well as beats from Madvillainy 2: The Madlib Remix. Although it isn’t a full jazz rendition of both Madvillainy albums, listen as MF DOOM spits over live jazz renditions of tracks such as “Raid”, “Meat Grinder (Remix)”, and, as a bonus, “Vomitspit” off MF DOOM’s Mm… Food album.
Abstract Villain is a fan project created by The Unseen Era. The project utilizes MF DOOM acapellas heard on the Madvillain album, Madvillainy. The project also utilizes segments of tracks heard on Abstract Orchestra’s Madvillain Vol. 1. Tracks utilized from the Madvillain Vol. 1 album were rearranged to be almost identical to the original arrangements heard from their respective track. The project was arranged, mixed, and mastered by The Unseen Era. Artwork done by The Unseen Era.
