NEW: Steam talks about Sony, CEO Responds to Free Cape Contest, Developer talks about an 8 man team and more ruclips.net/video/L2pzBevBcxE/видео.html
What does everyone think about the Helldivers 2 Halloween Event, CEO Response, Community Manager on Communication Menu in Game, and all that? Also, if you’re wondering, the unprofessional behavior I mentioned earlier is from the person you all refer to as the ‘Neighbors 2’ developer, or the ‘balance guy'.
LAS 16 needs more ammo and game is fixed easily
I would say maybe more than just that.
@@GlitchUnlimited I’m big fan of this game and would like to have fun again add more ammo to LAS 16 needs more ammo please, it’s not fun on helldive difficulty. I will buy it you just let me, how much credits I need to buy? so you can add more ammo it’s really important I just want to have fun again
Oh, absolutely! The game seemed to be in a great spot. Iplayed it on PC right when it was released...however I ended up refunding it and switched to playing it on PS5 instead. And yeah, it was good. Was it still challenging? Definitely, but that’s what made it great. It hit the sweet spot between being difficult and enjoyable.
Halloween event is 5 months away so hard for me to get excited about that now.
The industry is seriously destroying itself.
Have to get men to stop playing video games to start fighting wars again
@@Alticroo 🤫
It's called darwinism. Sony had the possibility of selling that game on ALL platforms and reap unfathomable fuckloads of money. Instead they selected to piss everybody off and stick their pee pee in a drawer and slam it closed.
@@Alticroo Hilarious 🤣
@@AlticrooEven at war men play video games. 90% of war is down time.
I swear, Sony must really hate money because cutting out all those countries on PC is just a fucking stupid move for their bottom line.
It’s almost as if their allergic to money like the companies in Hollywood
I am pretty sure that its a matter of pride and ego now since the down vote debacle which is just ret-rd-d
Twinbeard is the goat in all this. Basically only CM that does his job.
Thought Sony was backing out because they saw the situation would result in class action lawsuits. Guess we'll be seeing that soon.
What would they sue for? People who bought the game can continue playing, theyre "just" blocking new players from buying. So no grounds to sue, just silly.
@@bernhardlabus8511 EU aparently it violates a law there I dont know, some countries from EU are included in the ban list.
Susing someone because they do not want to sell in your country is evwn more ridiculous than Sony handicaping their sales
@@dziewiaty They had the game in those countries then sony removed it from what I understand
Wow would they they didn’t care for you gamers and they will win this war😂
The gaming year started off strong but is gonna quickly become one of the most infamous I feel ;-;
super stupid HD2 is an exclusive title. I don't understand why companies don't want to make money.
They make more money with the data they gather from having people locked in their walled garden, that is why they want to lock you into the vendor.
It’s about to be exclusive to the trash bin pretty soon.
you would think companies would want money but they are always making decisions that make the least amount, it makes no sense
The problem is with Sony and their contract. They have to do what Sony says essentially. Which is why they are also pumping out Warbonds monthly. This looks like a rocky landscape.
@@GlitchUnlimited yeah, they don't have enough devs to release warbonds monthly. at this point, we're lucky if a single weapon is good. only steeled veterans and cutting edge have a good weapon in them (dominator and sickle), and democratic detonation had the eruptor, but it got obliterated. people argue the smg has good stagger, but it's so inconsistent. it's largely recency bias (and let's not even try to pretend the smg won't get nerfed within a week).
Is just me or AH never knows what is happening to the game. Like a perpetual John Travolta meme.
That’s because selling the game isn’t their job. They only make the game everything else is the publishers job
@@ShinyRISpretty sure he's referring to as what happens when the game is updated doesn't seem like they know how to cater to their fan base at all really 😅
@@nelsonjackson5718i have to disagree. Sounds like a few people at AH are disconnected with players but the devs have been in open communication with players for months. I’ve watched players talk to them as though they aren’t people and then try to turn around and act like babies when they get an “unprofessional” response. I think that a lot of players don’t know how to cater to a company that is trying to be for the players. No one is giving them the space to develop their game without constant critique, and they’ve been working the entire time playing catch up trying to keep us satisfied. The game has been out for 3 months and I’ve seen a significantly higher amount of people disrespecting the devs than I’ve seen the other way around.
They need to be held accountable, they made the deal with Sony
@@m.j.e.5245 this is a dumb take
For me it's clear. Sony want first to make people accept PSN isn't that big of deal, then make the maximum of PC players to register, and then STARTING TO CHARGE FOR PSN or you lose access to their games.
It's an asinine plan and won't work.
That’s a sure way to lose a bunch of money
"Buy PS Plus to pay online"
Yeah, no thanks
They should sue Sony for lost profits, honestly.
They can’t as it was originally meant for psn required but decided to leave it months later before implementing it in fact Sony could sue arrow head for lost profits due to there own cm encouraging review bombing
It takes time, money, and its hard to sue your boss.
Best case? Sony drags out the court case for years and the community wages a war with the CMs leaving a victorious yet slightly toxic community... With few updates made to the game.
The more likely one... Sony fights them, uses the employees under Sony to tank the game. Then they wipe their hands of the mess and pretend they didn't sink the game.
It is why Rock Steady had more employees leave the company rather than sue when they got stuck making Kill the Justice League.
Suing would leave them in debt and no game.
Leaving left the company to die, but the employees could leave with some money to their name.
I don’t get the controversy about ‘communication’ in regards to the air burst rocket and anti tank mines. The game literally gives you a dispatch describing what would happen, how could there be any sort of miscommunication?
People complain due to their own lack of awareness - most people don’t read things in games when it tells you something
Most gamers are morons, because most people are morons
In truth, even much of this Sony controversy isn’t an actual controversy - it’s people who are upset that a business isn’t available in every country, but a business has the right to do that whenever they want
People in the Helldivers community who think they’re going to bring down a multi-billion dollar company and bend them to heel are naive
robot santa? my brain just went for futurama "you mistletoe is no match for my TOE MISSILE"

@@mr.s9783 Naw. It's Toe Mistle.
Time to get jolly on your naughty asses
Guys…bring back the memes. Enjoy the silliness and remember there may be nerfs but weapons are still fun…
Oh wait…half the world can’t play. Oh well fuck that I’m out
The 180 blocked countries represent less than 1% of all helldivers, idk why they're unable to make psn accounts, but probably because they dont make enough money to sony.
Yeah, the people who were making the memes already got took out back and shot.
This game is about dead.
Weapons aren't even that fun because they don't do anything. Anything good has gotten promptly gutted.
The addition of blocked countries to Ghosts of Tsushima is the really ominous change. What do they gain from arbitrarily restricting sales?
@@thehob3836 Exactly, whats wrong with the countries listed, its a form of e-apartheid. Don't live in the right country FU we wont allow you to consume our products.
I just want to go back to the times where we were fighting for super earth and democracy, and we lost malevelon creek to the bots after the bugs had us thinking we knew something. Then Sony happened.
As someone who owned and ran a private Lineage2 server back in the day (for over five years), I 100% agree with Twinbeard that "communication can be difficult". What he means is,you have to make sure all the CMs have full information on what's going on, what the plan is, why certain decisions were made, what's their purpose, what are the plans for the future, etc. And they need to be able to take that and then communicate that effectively to everyone - and mind you, there are all kinds of players with different agendas, ideas, plans, and preferences. You can't please everyone and there's always going to be someone b**ching about everything.
Twinbeard needs to be appointed Top Dog CM and be given the freedom to deal with CMs who cause problems rather than help, and to hire new CMs if needed. He understands the deal.
I think when it comes to developer to community communications, people really do not know what they want.
On the one hand, people expect corporate professionalism from the developers whos job it is to develop the game, not handle the community.
On the other hand people want to have those same devs chatting with them like they are best pals.
It just doesnt make sense to want both barrier free communication and demand professionalism. Especially in an environment where the professionalism and really just normal grownup behavior is ony expected from one side.
It's really stupid who cares if the community manager hurt your little feelings it is much better then the fake 'consumer friendly' PR corporate fluff bullshit
Completely agree, people are fucking idiots.
@@therandomcommenter6629 the people who went up in arms cared. xD
It's actually not that hard to act nice, be professional and not respond like a douchebag.
First thing to consider is people have different opinions, even if they're dumb. Don't take it personally, could just answer something like "yeah, sorry but that wouldn't currently be possible / isn't along the lines we plan atm" or something similar. Don't argue unless you can do it without getting heated, don't respond if you got nothing nice to say and so on. Ignore the trolls.
So I disagree, you can have a friendly community interaction that's very close but also professional.
@@swe113 I mean, courtsey is earned not demanded though. Take a look at how the loud people treat the arrowhead employees. Threats, belittlement, harassment, telling them they are incompetent and so on.
This is exactly what I mean with one side is expected to be curteous, goodwilled and benevolent in their behavior, while the other side essentially expects to be able to throw one temper tantrum after the other and be treated like daddies little princess. (And No I am not referring to the sony debacle in this instance)
It doesnt add up. People need to pick a lane. You cant both have barrier free communication and high standard corporate professionalism at the same time.
Assuming the "arrogant" and "sarcastic" dev you're referring to is Alexus, this is NOT the first time he's completely screwed up a game's gameplay, features, and fun levels.
Before joining Arrowhead to work on Helldivers 2, he worked on a game called Hello Neighbor 2. Initially he was a senior game designer, but in October 2021 he was promoted to lead game designer after the initial lead designer, Nikita (who also happens to be the original creator of Hello Neighbor), either stepped down or was demoted. Alexus then proceeded to scrap all of the marketed features, including the neural network AI that the NPCs would run on, the open world that would allow the player to do things in any order they'd like, and sandbox gameplay elements. He also took the mechanics of several items like the crowbar and simplified them down to barebones, making them unfun to use.
However, rather than telling people about the changes to the game, he instead lied constantly and claimed no features were scrapped, before bailing three weeks prior to the launch of the game to avoid answering further questions.
Yes and another developer called Evil boss I believe. (if that's not already him lol)
@@GlitchUnlimitedI have no clue if evil boss is alexus or not - iirc, alexus's helldivers server nickname is "The Bringer of Balance"
I love the game.
I wont even hesitate to quit if Sony is going back and suddenly tries to enforce PSN.
As far as I knew, people are unbanned that already purchased the game and didnt refund. Unfortunately many of them probably refunded when the Sony scandal took place. Now they are banned because they cannot purchase the game. This is ridiculous that we cannot play with people who want to play, there is literally no excuse to not allow the game for sale in these regions unless they are going to try a sudden sneak attack with psn.
Holiday events would be awesome with limited time holiday rewards etc.
I guess use a vpn to buy the game if you arein a banned country
The EU will have fun with HD2 being suddenly delisted in 3 if the member states are in direct violation of the Single EU Market. This guarantees that products sold in the EU are available in all member states or none. Plus the PSN account nonsense is enough for legal action in the EU because the idea this will be a requirement to play period while also selling it in countries where you can't create a PSN account looks like fraud [plus Sony can and has banned people for using false information in PSN account creation before]
I'd, honestly, be completely fine if Sony and PSN got completely shut off for their fuckery. They deserve it, and it would give everyone a reason to move on.
@@gagemead27 "Due to draconian laws we are no longer selling our products in the European Union, and will be revoking access to our products there." (Adds EVEN MORE countries to the region lock list)
Is this what you want?
Sony only said they were removing the PSN MANDATORY requirement to play the game itself never said they would go back on local availability. They could still want to block access to it if you are in region where PSN is unavailable. Ghost of Tsushima actually reinforces this considering it is mainly a single player game and that psn is not required for the single player yet they still limited it.
If PSN is not required, why restrict the sales in those regions at all? They are going to push for required accounts eventually, for as many games they can get away with.
Once they push the accounts they'll push "pay for multi-player"
This is simply the first step to monetize more basic features that were once a given part of the gaming experience
There were two options for the stats, how could people misunderstand that. People just chose poorly and are mad they didn't want the mines like me
I STILL would choose the rocket launcher over those mines. Mines have their uses but they are a defensive option that can be avoided and mass-killed by the same AoE weapons that the helldivers and enemies use.
The supply lines dude. I thought with the first planet it would unlock the whole sector. Then I see everyone dogpile the airburst planet bc it would've taken like three planets to get the AT mines
@@IRMentat we already had 4 rocket launchers why did we need a fifth, that team killed constantly on launch with the slowest reload ever
@@iMightBeCrazyIdk how y'all kept team killing. Anyways the launcher is pretty good now. Would take it any day over some mines.

Also, people in Vietnam can't play because steam is now blocked in their country, and i think PSN isn't available there
It weirds that VN does include in regions that PSN available but when you create account, VN won't be there for you to choose...
That issue is because several of the local game selling businesses are upset with Steam out preforming them and they are pressuring the Vietnam government and Internet providers to block Steam.

@crysecurse1677 yep that is my case. I waited long enough to see if the psn requirement would change, and when it does, I can still play the game

Punishing arrowhead for steam and sony 👍 genius
@StuckTrippin bro, the CEO of arrowhead literally encouraged it
You should not have changed it back to positive in the first place without confirming your request was completed.
@@StuckTrippinSony pays attention to reviews and refunds. The devs encourage review bombing because it gets their PS Overlords to listen.
@@StuckTrippin yeah why not??? AH is also guilty.
I knew positive reviews were premature.
The negative reviews were never serious in the first place lol. It was just people being tribal
@@m.j.e.5245this won't dissappear, people will remember this for the next game that carries the Sony name and might reconsider buying it. The negative reviews are how we made our voice heard, and if Sony doesn't listen, more people will make the decision to not purchase their titles, and fewer developers will choose them as a publisher.
They are correct in one thing make as much player as possible happy. People are different from one another, you can never please everybody.
Sony showing a pattern of doing shenanigans on friday evenings...
Twinbeard needs to be the only CM that stays the other ones are way too unprofessional
So you prefer CM who act like corporates drones than the one who are actually people and don’t just repeat the official line ?
Not so sure the diversity hired, pronoun brigade are relatable people for the vast majority of the game’s player base. “Corporate” would actually be true to in game lore in this case.
@@ni9274 It Community Manager, by definition it is corporate drone. They should be polite, diffuse situation and respond in orderly and proper manner. Twinbeard is only one who do it. They should fire more than, just Spitz who often antagonized community. They are supposed to repeat the official lines, not their own assumption as they do not speak on their own behalf. What is complicated in it? When CM speaks company speak, it is not quasi twitter celebrity or your only fans girl.
@@ni9274 if that not being dick to the fans means "Corporate drone" then yes. Firstly i want CM that is nice to me as customers. Then we can get CMs that have personality
Garbage opinion is garbage
I swear people need to actually use their head and realize that a company backing down from a decision is not a victory, its a counter attack, a victory can only be achieved when CEO's got their pay massively cut
A company shouldn't be fighting with their customers in the first place.
Most CEOs have a salary that’s less a million a year - their salary could be $1 and it wouldn’t change a thing
Their wealth comes from owning a percentage of shares in company
As in, their wealth is unrealized because they haven’t sold their stock in the company which is worth a certain valuation depending on how the market moves
Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia are EU members and their exclusion is inconsistent with EU law, which may result in serious consequences for SONY.
I feel like he meant to say the act of communicating can be hard. With things being misinterpreted, people already being aggro or motivated to have a certain type of conversation I feel like that was more of what he was trying to convey with saying communication is hard. Like communication can snowball in ways you didn't expect.
There are a lot of communication cues that aren't available in text.
Sarcasm is particularly dangerous for misinterpretation.
The ceo tweeted earlier that arrowhead is not in charged of distributing the game. Sony is the publisher and in charged with distribution. They have the final say.
I am sad but I feel like we will look back on HD2 as the biggest fumble in gaming history to date.
I've been saying this for a while. They delivered an unfinished game with incredible potential. All they had to do was trend in a reasonable direction. Hit software bugs hard right off the bat, chill on the new content right after launch. Improve game mechanics (this does not mean nerfing everything that's fun).
Instead we've had new content with bug fixes that introduced more bugs and the community is conditioned to assume anything that is fun and works well will soon be nerfed while everything that is unusable sits ignored.
Then all the PSN\Sony drama. Imagine if Half-Life had this much baggage
In regards to region lock, I agree, it's paramount they absolutely need to fix it. As far as the rest of the things that people are complaining about... You guys need to give the devs time to solve the issues at hand, I understand the state of the game is probably not enjoyable to you, but have some patience jeez, these things cant get fixed in a couple of days have some faith in the devs. Every other update ive been seeing how people are never happy with anything and its really depressing.
“There is more than 1 bug idol”

This should be a warning to any small developer with a hot product never to get into bed with Snoy
Really hope we can ask our questions with less vitriol in the future. The devs may have to be chained down by professionalism but they're still human beings. We would do well to chill on our Karen attitudes and just ask the questions. They've been very communicative with the player base, appreciate that.
Too many expect results NOW and completely forget that there is a process to get things done correctly, and rushing it will not help and only make it worse.
Yeah. I understand people’s concerns and frustrations, but i hate the way that they are treating these devs. The kindest company we’ve had in a long time and everyone treats them worse than the companies who’ve actually done us dirty.
@@jangomp3 Too many people are ready to flip sides the moment something doesn't go their way.
A conservative estimate on number of units sold is 5 million. At that scale you have to know, not expect, that there will be vitriol and toxicity, its just too large of a sample size of users. Any sufficiently large community must rely on good moderation, AH did not anticipate this size of a community and have been playing catchup since launce. It isnt Ideal, but CMs especially should be prepared for the worst, in fact an ideal CM should be able to talk someone down from vitriolic swill and leave them at least partially satisfied with the conversation. If humans were easy to interact with there wouldn't be so many high paying jobs with the sole responsibility being interact with them.
*looks at HD1 negative reviews* Too late
On stratagem balance.
Mines should be 2 mins cool-down. Turrets 150 seconds (or 180 with a p-shield attached to prevent bot Instakills) but mg/Tesla/shield 120-90 sec. Orbitals need to be able to double-stack their reloads (destroyer has 4-5 PAIRS of guns, let us load up the second one while the main ones good to go) orbital Gatling should stack to 3-4 uses.
GL should be a primary weapon (no changes). Or get 2+ extra reloads AND impact explosives.
Smoke needs to do something outside of strath runs.
Eagles are perfect (maybe tone down the 500kg explosion visual and use THE old visual for a 1000kg bomb/MOAB that eagle can only carry 1 of) but the strafe needs 2 more uses per call-in.
Jump pack should get 3 variants. More distance, lower cool-down 25 secs or so) and multiple jumps (pack charges 1 jump at a time but can save up to 3 uses) and help vs poor terrain movement.
P-shield shouldn’t give CC immunity beyond flinch/Dot, b-shield shouldn’t be dropped if you tumble.
This last patch also introduced a lot of bugs for me, it’s troubling
A voting system where players can vote for the different objektives in game is needed for these kind of major orders
While I wish they wouldn't, I do think I understand all the nerfing. They are probably trying to prevent another meta loadout situation, and the way the did it was just a bit questionable
I think the Pummeler is gonna be one of my new go-to’s. Being able to stop enemies in their tracks and all with one hand is really handy to have when you’re squaded up!
Evil santa ala futurama would be dope lol. Also a super soaker inspired weappn for summer would be amusing.
Community Managers specifically should do their best to be professional since its literally part of the job.
However people have to realize that a person is still a person and, if you keep coming at someone sideways, its only natural for them to want to comeback with the same energy.
Theres a REASON why community managers exist and why Devs dont usually talk directly with players for most other games. Balancing/making a game you want to create while appeasing a crowd of people with different (sometimes cool sometimes destructive) personalities is something most people arent equipped to handle.
I really don’t understand players saying there was no communication about how the new stratagems would get rolled out. It was clear to me that the major order was designed around the idea that we would get one or the other. The community took the path of least resistance and we got the air burst. What was unclear about that? Would you really expect to get both? Did people even want the antitank mines over the air burst?
Uh-oh my group is gonna have issue with that Bug deity cause we have already dubbed the Charger Greg…
I must of missed the good warbond which one was that? 😅
The new one is sub par (pointless secondary, new AR better in total ammo than the l Lib by 25 but way more reloading to get there, stun smg is better than the new AR, defender still best full-auto weapon) but demo-det good on launch, the electric one has 2 of the best weapons in the game now (stuns, puni plas and JAR) the steel vet has the best shotgun now.
It didn’t start it that way but main issue is the “balance guy” is deleting ALL the unique features then just using a +-10% stat formula to standardise EVERY weapon in the game.3/7 of the AoE primaries have the SAME 150 AoE damage GL support weapon (primary weapons in in all but name) is half the ammo double AoE, purifier TBC, Eruptor flat 40 more but it got that reduced damage proliferation further from the blast centre. Scorcher is 100 short range (bordering single target) “AoE” but direct fire anti-light and more ammo per mag.
It’s the same for EVERY other weapon in the game now, placed on a spreadsheet their stat “totals” are almost a straight line with no peeks and the few troughs were also recently patched over with base damage boosts.
There is always gonna be a certain level of communication difficulties when everything is typed out and not seen or heard
I think an easy W for the think warbond is to include the Jin-Roh armor in it. I keep seeing a lot of hype for it in discussions of unreleased content
What?
This game was very fun in the start even if it wasn't their intentional gaming idea and goal. I definitely would of just ran with it since it made the most money and had the most active players.
I think a minigun stratagem would be nice. Basically carry a backpack with 500 bullets and a handheld minigun.
Bro you read my mind! I've been thinking about this for so long, it would either be refillable, or a disposable one which would be interesting.
After you're done the shooting the 500 bullets, you drop the gun and take off the backpack.
Maybe a 90-second cooldown if it's disposable?
@everfreesnarrations35 depends on damage. If it is stalwart-level with a 500 round clip, 90 seconds makes sense. If it's more like the MG-206 then 180 might be more reasonable
@@lordsergal8783 It should hit as hard as the the HMG, even with a 90-second cooldown.
It takes up a weapon slot, and a backpack.
That would be the balancing aspect is that you can't bring much else.
You still wouldn't be able to take out Chargers consistently, Titans, tanks, hulks, etc.
So it's something that takes up a support weapon and a backpack, it has to be extremely useful for at least one thing, hordes.
It would also just be insanely fun while p
@@everfreesnarrations35 90 Seconds too short. 5 minutes sounds more fair if disposable. 8 minutes if it's reloadable. Another would be to make it medium pen but make the damage the same as a stalwart and not the Medium MG damage.

The fact they managed to fumble helldivers 2 when gamers basically ate the game up and were throwing money at them is really just sad and shows how broken the industry is right now.
True
From what I understand Sony didn't delist those countries Steam did to cover themselves legally. Steam is probably looking at getting some sort of deal and contract out of Sony that Sony wont cause problems for Steam again.
i never got into to this game, not a fan of being stuck in ranged combat, but melee side arms sounds promising, is that really happeing, can i expect melee weapons at some point?
Is it my impression or the first time a weapon patch dropped there was a dispatch saying thatt productivty wise weapons had to be change. Could be sometime like that for communicating balancing changes to the community
I didn't think there was a problem with the major order that had us choose which stratagem to unlock. the two planets werent equal. The anti tank planet was on a fire tornado planet. It was never going to be liberated faster than a planet without that
the major order was in fact NOT for the airburst, why do you think the airburst was available DURING the majpr order, it was simply a new weapon.
noone seemed to pay attention but the major order stated it would be a chemical weapon, it is likely the chemgun wich has yet to be added
I think we all need to take a moment to realise Helldivers' devs are humans like all of us and are actually trying to approach us with a human side, flaws and all. I understand it's been hard lately, but I think we really should have some patience with them. It's amazing as is that we can talk to them this easily.
I swear people get fired for less, idk why certain devs at AH are still employed...
Twinbeards comment on “communication can be difficult” wasnt about the communication with the hd2 gaming community. It was basically saying typing out information is difficult and many people can take it the wrong way. More updates is definitely needed to help players understand whats going on but aswell the devs have been buzy trying to make the game clean and playable first. This is the main reason for player count loss. Once they start uploading more content on a regular basis you will find the community will find something to enjoy again
If arrowhead knows what is good for them they will stack the paper they getting and break ties with Sony asap
imagine seeing bugs rave around greg wiggling above a rock
"Greg" reminds of Connan O'Brien portion.. 😆
Future game developers might want to avoid having Sony publish their games, as it vastly reduces the market your game can be sold in. Sony seems to be restricting access to their games, to the only 10 or 12 countries where players can actually make a PSN account. Thats huge impact on potential game sales, if you consider that there are 195 countries in the world.
And I'm really sad, because I think it's going to kill Helldivers 2. Lots of people around the world love the game, and now they cannot buy it. This whole situation has just really soured people's attitude towards HD2.
Sony owns the helldivers IP
I hope that Greg is like a special item you can interact with on the map. When you interact with it Greg will give you a "Trick" or a "Treat". The Trick could be spawning in a Bug Breach around Greg, Spawning in Multiple Bile Titans, simply killing you, etc... The treat could be Healing you, max resupplying you/your team, give Medals, 1 extra reinforcement, etc...Have it be a 50/50 chance always.
I do think the CM should be more professional but I understand them replying like that. People get mad and you cant always expect professionalism. I don't know if the CMs have the ability to do this but they should temporarily mute the player. Continued actions like that can lead them to ban the person from the discord.
Buffs should always be more common than nerfs. An item that is too strong is actually an indicator that the other items are just undertuned.
As much as i love the mew stratagems i really want a new story update with some kind of new enemy type for either the bugs or the bots but i also cant wait for the illuminate i want them to be in the game asap
Anyone know what armor player brewlix is wearing at 1:13?
My review change has been waiting, red, pending the _actual_ re-listing.
Positive steam reviewers are on the defensive this morning o7
If melee weapons are coming, I can't wait to fight Chargers, Hulks, and those big 'uns head-on!
I mean, since we can email Gaben, it could be a good idea. He has more power than the othee companies.
Isn't only Helldivers 2. Ghost of Tsushima is also in they way to be the same. Is already blocked from those 177 countries 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
We have a saying here in Sweden (which might be appropriate since Johan is a Swede, idk).
If you bring the devil with you in your boat, you damn well better row him ashore.
something is wrong here, the dev said they're talking with sony about this and now they're on about being on break for hollidays and having found this through the community.
I got a feeling the CEO might be lying to us aswell
Or...both could be correct. They were in talks with sony then went on holiday which was prepared in advance. Sony did their thing while they were on holiday and now the CEO and his team just found out about it through us because they keep tabs on the community even when they should be on break.
@@shadowlight6084 that could be true aswell, i have faith in the CEO and his team it just feels so odd what's going, is sony this unprofessional?
@decat5744 Big money tends to make people not think logically. The same can be said for big business.
I'd preffer warbonds have 1 less main weapon, and have the weapons we get be more polished and interesting.
pistol and nade on page 1, main weapons on page 2 and 3
The trouble is, all guns need to be interesting, powerful, effective or fun. If getting one less gun a month means the guns we do get fit these criteria better would be worth it.
I guess the last week was basically just the Dead Cat Bounce for Helldivers 2. If all this BS continues on for another week or more, i see the playerbase just collectively getting tired with the drama and moving on.
The PSN requirement screen from the forst week is back. Im using this to ask for a refund and i reccomend everyone else does as well.
Man all the medic armors are already Christmas themed
I would honestly love to see a Year of the Dragon Warbond before the year is out, fit with Ninja Sneaking armor and Samurai Fire resistant armor, dragon banners and a silent pistol or incendiary impact grenade pistol.
There was a sword in the first game. If you had the right perks, it could do 300 damage per swing, and with two players using them in a team, the session became a murder blender for the enemy. If they add melee in HD2, have the sword as a secondary, with a shield combo, would be amazing for me personally. Having it be a part of a warbond that was "Knights/Warriors of Super Earth" or something would be ideal, especially if they have not just a knight, but also a Samurai, and Viking style armor. Would be a bit of a dunk on "For Honor" :P
Incendiary Impact grenades, Concussive SMG, Heavy Pistol, and Anti-Slow Booster was exactly what I was looking for. Not every Warbond is going to be 10/10 but people getting upset about Polar Patriots seem a bit crazy to me. I actually think it’s my second favourite Warbond behind Steeled Veterans (Disability Rep and Incendiary Breaker). There’s a ton of different players with varied playstyles that enjoy Helldivers, some war bonds will be hits and some will miss for certain players but to say it’s a problem that 1/5 isn’t amazing is kinda weird to me. It’s still very early in the life cycle of the game.
Halloween event? I want them to put out today's fires....not plan for friggin halloween!
Thank you for explaining the situation. Also, thanks to you I did not purchase the latest warbond because of your breakdown.
i called this and nobody ever checks their comments to verify that their may be some missing info
I realize this might be a tall ask, but I would like to see some sort of firing range onboard the ship or on super earth where we can test our new weapons/stratagems before committing to it for a full 40 minute game.
Called it. I've said from the moment Sony made that announcement that it was just a tactical retreat. They're not going to back off. The ONLY win option for players on this issue is that across the board refund policy HAS TO be changed. Unless literally everyone instantly qualifies for a refund if they choose to push that PSN mandate, then everyone loses. It shouldn't be a matter of individuals in X country that don't have access to PSN are the ones that qualify. It has to be everyone as a matter of sales policy. If a company or publisher makes fundamental game state changes and changes to TOS that would render even a fraction of the player base unable to access the game after the game has been purchased, it should by all rights be treated as fraud since that was not what the customer agreed to at the time of purchase. I've said it since they issued that walk back statement and I'll say it again. I want my money back and I do not trust anyone involved with this regardless if they're the dev team or Sony.
I am becoming more convinced SNOY is trying to push as many people onto their PSN network regardless of platform so they can turn around and make everyone who’s playing online pay for their online service. It sounds crazy but from a boardroom suit perspective it looks like A LOT of cash and these big publishers have shown over and over that they’ll go for the cash over customer service just about every time
Having tooled with the new warbond some, no one told me that the assault rifle has the kick of a smg, things a lazer of bullets and I honestly like it. But in the end I’m happy with the bond just for the booster alone…. Hate getting slowed
Look, we could have finished the major order regarding the Airbust and anti-tank, if everyone sucked it up and went through the fire tornados. Instead, they wanted to go through another planet that wasn't even halfway liberated, then they all left to fight the bugs. That wasn't miscommunication. That's the player community's fault.
Haven't been able to play for over a week because I went to Sony and asked them to unlink my account. This lead me to get suspended for "breach of terms" Nobody wants to talk to me or help me handle so my negative review stands.
No excuses right. But imagine you are at work. You are used to dealing with a few thousand people a year. Then all of a sudden you are dealing with millions of people at a time. Some people are super cool while others are complete psychos, doxing your coworkers, sending people you know death threats and just wearing down your psyche. The internet is a terrible place. It's easy to say that the CM should be the bastion of professionalism, but they are just normal people. Most of can't even have a normal argument without freaking out. These guys are exposed to something that they we never ready for.
Again, I'm not saying that what they are doing is right, but they are just normal humans. Try to imagine how you would handle it for a moment and try to give them some time to learn and correct their actions.
The CMs are former reddit mods and many handled previous Discord servers. They should already be used to large groups. But, well, reddit is a cesspool of abusive personalities. And I'm not going to give them time to learn and correct their actions when the most atrocious actions have been things that have nothing to do with professionalism and everything to do with lying, not understand their own game's mechanics or, in the community managers' cases, openly going against their company's stated position on real-world politics.
Naw gamers talk about wanting to talk to devs and stuff like regular people and have communication. Devs should be able to tell some of those annoying fucks to shut up when they copy paste the same message about something they don’t like until someone responds. Maybe it’s just me but so many people are such little piss babies when it comes to having their little feelers hurt.
So we have this section of the ship, across from the armory, that has a large display. Hear me out, how about use that for Arrowhead to in-game community communication? If there is a multiple choice of objects/rewards, show the plot to the planets and what would be achieved. This really should not be that difficult since the functionality is already in the game in the form of the war map and/or the TV.
Thank you for the video. I got banned from discord server so I cant really see news there.
The countries added to the blocklist had no access to PSN services, it is likely that steam is covering themselves just in case the PSN requirement still goes through.
Got a wild idea:
Maybe, instead of trying to peddle their PSN onto PCs, Sony should leave their PlayStation accounts on PlayStations? 🤔
And those Super Earth screens on the right side of your Super Destroyer that don't seem to have any use; they are perfect socializing stations!
Game update info, a global command chat, and squad coordinating and interactions!
that illuminate seems to have a whip not a sword the grey box seems more like a hit box you can see the blue object snake its way through it
I hope all of this is some war behind the scenes between Steam and Sony and we will get a great story when it concludes
Would be cool if they added a "super" bot or bug during a defense, similar to helldivers 1 or a mmo raid battle. Imagine a localized event on the planet with hundreds of ships around this massive creauture you can see from space. A few new mission types for the squad to fulfill based on destroying parts of the creature with traps and nukes. We lose and the planet gets "destroyed" for that war as well (maybe have a bonus for enemy army in the area).
I just can't understand why ppl keep thinking companys are friends of ours...they only care about money nothing else and they certantly don't care about you.
