Add in incidentals such as cleaning chemicals/supplies, pumps, additional paid help, foods and drinks for helpers, etc. About $10,000 USD. Some areas may require proper fencing to prevent drowning so that could add to the cost as well.

Another downside other than alligators is bugs. Theres lots of ants and theres more trees, so there would be a lot of leaves and weeds getting into the pool.

White liner lldpe is UV resistant, exposure to sunlight will cause the liner to deteriorate overtime.
