Actually thats not a propeller. Its a cone shaped kettle, when the crew land they can simply grab it by the shortened convenient handles and pour themselves a cup of tea when they land.

The unhistorical usage of the Stuka siren noise during generic plane dive is perfectly historical when portraying old movies. :D
I presume that the torpedo run at 0:29 was targeting their own ship, as that's the only way the Firebrand could do a torpedo run...without becoming literal fire.

OMG Squire video! Happy days! Oh and the Firebrand is hopeless - cant do anything until it get unlocks for its ordinance. Which you cant unlock because stock it cant do anything until you get the unlocks... Would love to take it out in GF for some tank busting, but cant unlock anything...oh and the Firefly V is leagues better than the Firebrand at 0.7BR lower....failbrand.

(On a side note, the F35 does what it's designed to do, well enough. It does it as well as it was intended to. Plus yes, the Yankees spent years and generations of aircraft knowledge avoiding pervious multirole issues. The F-35 cannot do the roll of long overhead time heavy ordinance capacity ground attack. It doesn't have the payload size. But most modern turboprop ground attackers can do the exact same roll just not maintain as much speed in a high G turn. Big woop...
Although the F-35 could do an infinitely better job at ground attacking at nigh than the A-10 before the A-10C upgrades. The A-10 simply have zero nigh time operations equipment.)
Well the Mosquito did multi-role quite well. I am American and not a fan of F-35.

There's been dozens of multirole designs aviation has looked back on when designing aircraft in the last 30 years. The F-35 cannot perform the A-10's publically perceived roll, because it was not designed with that in mind. At all...
Probably Because the A-10 has performed lass than 20% of US ground attack missions in the past 20 years when it has, it's almost exclusively used dumb, or guided ordinance. The gun is no where near as effective as people have given it the reputation for. Even though I agree with the cool factor.
I don't "love" the F-35 either. But I have no argument for why it's not one of the US's most successful aircraft, and as a result likely one of the best aircraft designed to date. The Rafael was considered epic, because of its cost effectiveness. The F-35 sells for cheaper...
The F-35 doesnt have a Gau 30mm. No, because gun based ground attackers have always been over-hyped. Almost every single pilot in WW2 over claimed ground kills. Meanwhile the skyraider was a monster in the sky, purely because of ordinance capacity. The A-10 is only still in use, because of ordinance capacity. Not the gun.
The USAF looked at the Super Tucano and PC-7 as potential candidates, to supplement the other aircraft in the USAF in that ordinance capacity role. As far as I'm aware, that's been dropped now (I can say I "know" why. It could be because Congress forced they to use money on extending the A-10 service life again).
The Irish Air corps use PC-9's. Basically slightly stripped down PC-7's intended as trainers. They're exclusively used as training aircraft here for our 5 or 6 pilots. We've more aircraft than certified PC-7 pilots... (We don't pay our defence force staff enough, it's embarassing). But the PC-7 can still also take ordinance pylons, and the PC-9 can perform night operations. So...
The Tucano and Pilatus both do exactly what Congress said the USAF needs the A-10 for. But at a fraction the running cost.
