Genuinely does make me feel ill hearing about people going through surgery just to achieve a certain look. I am not against plastic surgery but personally it does make me feel weak hearing about people getting themselves cut open and inserting foreign things into their body and knowing something is sitting in there and then having to upkeep that by going through more surgery. Obviously surgeries that are needed to save a life/improve quality of life is necessary and plastic surgery does fall into that but it still makes me sad that it is very common when most of the time it isn't needed in my opinion
Yeah, and I feel it's a completely different story when someone has a particular feature they would like to look a certain way and go and get that done for themselves, or having some aging-reversal procedures, but what a lot of celebrities have taken to doing is getting surgery to keep up with the fashions. And surgery is meant to be heavily considered and permanent like a tattoo, not changing every few months like makeup or sm!
@@tabathaogost4982 she’s in the right channel. Why is anybody here then? Most people feel a bit more secure with themselves knowing that a lot of these people had to cut themselves and inject themselves to achieve a look!

@@hannahd9071 Not many girls are natural these days. With cosmetic procedures being so affordable, any one can tweak their appearance. Nothing terrible as long as you don't go overboard and maintain your unique features, which Kendall does. She is a model and looks stunning.
The facial work gave her mouth frown lines. For me, its the only thing that ages me and she basically created the same issue I have but she’s only 25 or whatever.
I don’t follow the Kardashians myself, but I notice now from my mental snapshot of Kylie Jenner (via this channel), that she & her sister share a very similar “before” face-never would’ve known/guessed that, given how their current “after” faces have turned out. Kylie chose to look similar to her sister Kim, and Kendall, I suppose went the young Kris route.
I disagree respectfully. I think the surgeries were done tastefully and she has a great result. She’s definitely following the surgery trends but I don’t think she’s gone too far as some of her siblings have.
She looks older, but Bella Hadid shows that looking older isn't necessarily a bad thing at all. I don't think she looks anywhere near her mid 30's and she still looks good, if a bit... Instagram-y. I really don't know how to phrase it. Her look now gives off a very aesthetically pleasing yet manufactured look.
@@amysteele6540 She’s following her sisters steps . She’s already done more than five procedures. Currently the changes on her face are getting more common. Another Kim in the making.

I definitely agree with the buccal fat removal. I always thought she had full lower cheeks, but she was still very thin. I always comment this, but nobody ever mentions this in videos made of her surgeries.
I met her last year and she looks waaaaay different in person than she does in her photos. She definitely wears more makeup in photos/at events, and she wasn’t wearing that much when I met her, and she clearly edits her photos/uses a filter. Not saying she hasn’t had anything done, but it’s not as dramatic as it appears.
@Hazel Allison yeah she definitely could have had more done since then, but a lot of the photos in this video were taken before I met her. She’s been using filters for a while.
Unrelated, I’ve seen Kristen kurek in smallville in real life when I was 17 when the show was in its prime. She’s absolutely stunning. She’s natural and glows Iike the sun but she’s mean and very rude
Hi Lorry! Any chance we could talk about some of the medical downsides to prolonged fillers? Like the problems it causes with scar tissue and muscular strength as well as how it truly isn’t all natural and never actually fully leaves the body. All for people doing whatever they want! I just want to see more big names speaking on the downsides of a decades worth of yearly or more filler
@@LorryHill I agree. I feel like young girls need a glimpse of reality before opting for fillers. Nothing wrong with them if done smartly, but there are lots of celebrities who have overdone it with fillers. I don't mind giving you examples.
I feel like she needs a hug. You know that her sisters probably make "hOneSt" little nit picky comments about each others looks all the time, especially Kim. They all have BDD. Her eyes are too wide now, her nose too narrow, and her lips and cheeks too large. She's almost in kylie territory.
The weird thing is, she's the one that nitpicking the other sisters feature and tend to be the 'nerdy, quirky' sister (said by herself even). At this rate I am more sympathise with Kylie
Yup, they did that on the show to one another. It's the reason why Kris & khole got surgery on their faces, b/c Kim kept making fun of them for wrinkles smh
Yes! And most of the time your natural nose fits your face personally and everyone’s getting this tiny upturned nose nowadays that doesn’t look good on them
I rarely stay for the very end of any video I watch but with Lorry's videos I always stay until the very end. Her son's cute face and soft "Byyyee..." one of the most adorable things I have ever seen.
When you don't have validation from being a top model and still feel the need to change your appearance, there is something wrong. I'm not sure anyone in that family will ever be content with their looks.
the surgery denial from celebrities like Kendall is what upsets me the most. I think it's pretty obvious that Kim Kardashian had work done to her bum, whether she denies it or not, but it really bothers me when celebrities like Kendall and Bella deny having surgery or claim only a nose job, when in reality they have spent hundreds of thousands to look they way they look. And because their work is so subtle, people don't realize it. I know it shouldn't upset me, but it does
She reminds me of Emily Ratajkowski now - are they all going to look like clones of their mom soon? Is that the mom- manager's endgame subconscious or not?
I need to know when these celebs have the time to get surgery and heal without getting photographed by someone! It kinda amazes me. Thank you lorri for yet again giving another great video. I learn so much. ❤️
One thing I see is that they change hair color (or put on a bright wig, blonde, pink, etc.) as misdirection. Another thing that happens is that they take lots of pictures beforehand so their social media looks like they are engaged real time while they are healing. In addition, I suspect the most changes take place when their show is airing. They don't seem absent, but in reality they arent out and about. Finally, wearing spanx clothing, sunglasses, wigs, etc. may seem like fashion, but it may be necessary.
Your question if you would be our queen was asked so cutely. You are a queen, surgery or no surgery. It is your inner beauty and kindness which shines trough, apart from unbelievable expertise. Thank you for your work
Her cheeks are bothering me now and her lips though she overlines them but you can tell she had possible lip fillers. I think she also had chest enhancement.
I always thought she was highly overrated to be a top model and now this confirms it. Yes, lots of models get a tweak here or there but they usually start out very young with little to no work. She had A LOT of help , figuratively and literally to get her to this point. I dunno, still hard for me to take her seriously as an elite model. Off topic, but I recently found out that Scott Disick has a an apparel brand called TALENTLESS, i gotta give that guy credit for using the running joke to his advantage. pretty funny actually.
I think it's actually sad that you have to be lucky enough to be born a model and if you're not then that career option closes for you and you are disregarded. It's part of the reason I support plastic surgery. It threatens the fragile ideal of natural beauty and replaces it with an attainable beauty. It becomes hard to sell and capitalize on the rarity of beauty when everybody has the chance to be beautiful. I don't think it makes her overrated. It's sad to rate people so superficially anyway.
I love your channel so much. I think it's important people, especially younger people, see what actually goes into looking like a lot of the images we see on social media, especially when it comes to celebrities. Too many people walk around wondering why they don't look like their favorite celebrity, when their favorite celebrity has had extensive work done to look that way. Absolutely nothing wrong with making choices for your own body, but it's nice to see light being shone on this topic. I also appreciate that you don't body shame people or make them feel wrong for making the choices that they've made -you're simply sharing information in a respectful way.
Don’t forget that filters exist. It really does look like the picture on the cover of this video was filtered. Just because celebrities get plastic surgery doesn’t mean that they don’t use filters too
It seems to me like Kendall and Kylie want to look ethnic like their older sisters, since their father’s not Armenian.. so much so that they surgically altar their appearance to do so. These were just two white girls before (which is fine, they were pretty naturally).
I feel a bit sad when I see Kendall because she was so naturally pretty in the first place. However, your pointing out how the modeling industry prefers the hard edge cheekbone look was instructive. I recently saw a young actor on TV who has the most incredible cheekbones. I thought he was only a young teenager but he's actually 20. His name is Ian Blackburn. He's from New Zealand and plays a minor character named Rowan in Rings of Power. There may be episode clips of him online. I know he was briefly in some of the trailers. His hairstyle and the lighting makes him look very striking indeed. I'm going to take a look at that Scottish landowning "laird and lady" sponsor now. I love your always positive content, Lorry! ❤
Ik this sounds silly, but even in my mid twenties, I'm so naive when it comes to plastic surgery, and your videos have helped me realize I should probably be a bit kinder to myself as far as comparisons go. TY Lorry

I love these videos. They’re so informative and interesting. I’ve come to the conclusion that like 99% of celebs have had work done and I can’t trust my own 20/20 eyesight anymore lol. Everything is either edited physically or digitally. This is the superficial world we live in

My Canthoplexy didn’t last but a few months. So be wary of who you go to and if you want to do it. I feel some people have heavier brow lined and it makes it harder.
@@amandaj3742 I personally think so. But I’m not a plastic surgeon. I think a combo of not doing a bleph, not going to a good surgeon, not having a proper lift done, and having strong facial muscles that pull forward and heavy fat pads above the eye make it a lot harder.
i'm curious about how these procedures don't seem to leave facial scars. i know the ponytail facelift hides the scars in the hairline, but what about cheek implants, canthoplasty, buccal fat removal, etc? do these procedures leave scars and if so how prominent are they? are people using makeup to cover the scars? thank you so much for your informative videos!

I don't know why it always surprises me the amount of surgeries many people will go through without much of a worry. I'm just thinking about all the things they put into their bodies and the amount of stress the body goes through during surgery and recovery and the what if something wrong happens.
Great analysis Lorry! One thing I would definitely add is laser treatments to her face. Kendal had acne that lead to some scarring on her jaw area. She doesn’t appear to have any prominent scarring anymore which could possibly be due to laser treatments such fraxel co2. These treatments are expensive, some adding up to $5,000 and depending on how many sessions it could be even more. It usually take 3-5 sessions for scarring to be almost non visible
Just got a mini face lift one month ago. All the research I did prior women said it was not painful. I did not find one person who said facelift was painful. I was expecting post op to be no more than a 5 on 1-10 scale. When I came out of surgery I felt like my head was about to bust. My face did not hurt but the back of my head, behind my ears and side of my head near my ears and back of neck were throbbing pain on 8-9 scale. I took pain pills for 7 full days. My face never once hurt. I will say that the pain is bearable and sleeping for first 3 days kept me comfortable. I looked like a monster but week 2 I started seeing results and stopped regretting the surgery. From 2 week post op till now 1 1/2 month post op my face looks better and better. I had a : mini face lift Neck lift w neck lipo Upper eyelid removal Eyebag removal Fat grafting as face filler Eye brow lift Lip lift Lip implants - I had my surgery procedure at Northside Plastic Surgery in Alpharetta GA and total cost was $35,000

I got my FFS at the Spiegel Center in Massachusetts as I’m from mass… it’s the same doctor who did Gigi gorgeous’s FFS. I can tell based on my own experience she might of had her brow bone shaved, because a simple lift would still leave a heavy brow behind bone… and also in my experience having a similar before like Kendall Botox doesn’t really work on a heavy brow muscle… the same way Gigi Hadid had her mandible jaw changed… also my radiesse gives the sharp strong cheekbone look that she has so maybe a cheek implant would be too excessive. My generation can achieve the implant look if we start off with radiesse or sculptra and stay away from hylaronic acid that absorbs water, and only focus it on the upper part so if does migrate it won’t ever go down to the jaw like many pillow faces have.

You're in the wrong channel then
@@tabathaogost4982 she’s in the right channel. Why is anybody here then? Most people feel a bit more secure with themselves knowing that a lot of these people had to cut themselves and inject themselves to achieve a look!

She looked much better before. She looks older now like she’s 35.
She had surgery before she just got more done
I disagree respectfully. I think the surgeries were done tastefully and she has a great result. She’s definitely following the surgery trends but I don’t think she’s gone too far as some of her siblings have.
No she doesn't look like 35 come on guys..
She looks older, but Bella Hadid shows that looking older isn't necessarily a bad thing at all. I don't think she looks anywhere near her mid 30's and she still looks good, if a bit... Instagram-y.

Good idea !

I've never really understood the obsession with narrow noses. To me, they make people look older in a bad way. Wider noses are underrated.

the surgery denial from celebrities like Kendall is what upsets me the most. I know it shouldn't upset me, but it does
she looks really different. I was wondering what may have caused that change. this video was very educational as usual. keep up the good work Lorry!!!
She reminds me of Emily Ratajkowski now - are they all going to look like clones of their mom soon? Is that the mom- manager's endgame subconscious or not?
I need to know when these celebs have the time to get surgery and heal without getting photographed by someone! It kinda amazes me.

@@jnm2088 I know but recovering from surgery can take months! Especially with swelling, bruising etc.
She is from a rich famous family who sometimes runs the catwalk
Just because celebrities get plastic surgery doesn’t mean that they don’t use filters too
Kendalls denial is insane.
It seems to me like Kendall and Kylie want to look ethnic like their older sisters, since their father’s not Armenian.. so much so that they surgically altar their appearance to do so. These were just two white girls before (which is fine, they were pretty naturally).
By that logic, the Kardashians were just some Caucasian girls.

His hairstyle and the lighting makes him look very striking indeed.

i'm curious about how these procedures don't seem to leave facial scars. i know the ponytail facelift hides the scars in the hairline, but what about cheek implants, canthoplasty, buccal fat removal, etc? do these procedures leave scars and if so how prominent are they? are people using makeup to cover the scars? thank you so much for your informative videos!
