Honestly, I haven't yet come across a song sung by Fabian as well as other artists that I don't infinitely prefer Fabian's version. I don't stan people, but when I first discovered Fabian last year through her jaw-dropping performance of Je Suis Malade from the live From Lara With Love Concert, I became an instant (stunned) superfan. I agree this performance here has a vitality and exuberance that is completely infectious. Will you be doing more Fabian reactions? Your reactions are fun to watch. (I'm incredibly awed and envious that Fabian is fluent and writes songs in French, English, Spanish, Italian. And, according to native speakers, very competently sings in 8 others. And another appearance on tv in Brazil where she apologized for not really speaking Portuguese. Both those were many years ago, she could well have become fluent since then. I wouldn't put it past her ability. I saw an interview where she obviously completely understood the Dutch interviewer but answered 95% in English. 😁 She seems to be programmed for easy language acquisition. What I find even more fascinating (as both a writer and trained dancer myself): I've noticed her kinesthetics change a great deal when she is speaking French vs English vs Italian vs Spanish. She uses her body/gestures and LOOKS like she is European French(/Belgian), American/Canadian, Italian, New World Latina. If I knew more about Quebec and its people, I wonder if I could see a difference in her physicality when speaking to a French vs Quebecois audience? I bet there is some. Lara won a lot fo awards in these both countries since then. They use compose together. They have a HUGE project called Madmoseille Zhivago. Lara recorded songs in 5 languages at thin album. There is also a film/video clipe of each song of the album entitled the same bame of the album. It's wonderful and took 3 months to film everything, a lot of money and over 300 actors and actress acting along with her. This video you just reacted is part of her dvd concert at Kremlin.
