i always loved the design of that gun. as a video games and guns amateur, i am glad that rifle appears in more and more of games , like Modern warfare 2022, the last Far cry's, Battlegrounds... it show that the devs of these games has some good gun tastes. i really hope it will continue to appears over and over in gaming because that gun just breathe the coolness. how to explode people heads and destroy vehicles with class
Perhaps it needs a stiffer spring for the barrel? I'm seeing it smack the rear quite hard, but with a stiffer spring the recoil would be dealt with before it hits the back to a higher degree. I do understand it does have to hit the back to lock the bolt to the rear though.
The recoil is controlled bye a adjustable muzzle break so that it can be tuned to various different loadings including Soviet 12.7x108. Dumb asses like "Demolition Ranch" should look into that...its in the instruction manual ( : It is understandable since his target audience hasn't hit puberty yet. The spring is there to return the rifle into battery.
Unlikely to happen as it'd need redesigning the gun's action. It has single stack 5-round magazine because it began its life as a Soviet-era gun and magazines can make or break an entire gun. For twenty years now they mostly do incremental tweaks and working out all the kinks on the weapon. Maybe if they finally make one in .416 Barret or .408 CheyTac then they can use the existing magazines as basis. Although for several years they teased about a 14.5mm Lynx and it never happened. My bets are that their budget is very limited overall.

If you wanna see the original Hungarian vids look for "gepárd fegyver". It's a quite capable design, wonder when it will be standardized into the Nato forces.

Just remember to field strip, clean and lube before firing. Mine should be in my hands by May 01. Importer says "common ammo" should be good to go w/o any adjustments. So I may have to fiddle with the brake to get 600gr JHP and 950gr cast to run.

they show it being used like its a CQB rifle LMAO. Its too fucking heavy for anything but long range shooting from supported position. No one is gonna run around with 30lbs of rifle in their hands at the ready for any decent period of time. Your arms would be spaghetti real quick.

American .50BMG 12.7x99mm NATO and Soviet .50cal 12.7x108mm are similar if not almost the same cartridge.
