Those 7 missing Piston Cup racers look so good, I wish they were in the first Cars movie! In fact, there should have been 1/55 scale diecasts based on them.
This feels so back in the day, not just the designs and background made for their representations, along side the scene selection menu theme, but also the fact that you guys went the extra mile to make the the missing Piston Cup racer models. I love it.
These models are actually really well made, and the bio actually gives a lot of insight to what the characters could be. Well done, I'm thinking about making myself an OC based off the original 05' Piston Cup roster

I recently thought of a theory as to why we never see these guys, it goes like this. They were supposed to race in the Dinoco 400 along the remaining 36, but after they were involved in a wreck during a qualifying race at the Motor Speedway Of The South, They unfortunately had to get disqualified due to the injuries they suffered as a result. Poor Buck Schooner had to retire early as his injuries were worse than the other cars.

These cars and their stories are well done, it can be debated on whether or not they could be called Canon though. There's a chance the whole "42 losers" thing even when there's only 36 cars on track may be an error on Pixar's part as most races back in the day did have at least 43 cars
These OCs are great for Piston Cup Thunder ‘05, the only thing that throws me off is the number given for Triple Dent. I feel like it should be 31 instead of 22, but it’s alright. My favorite of these is Buck Schooner. Edit: I’m taking this as canon.
I think that you should've given one of the racers the number 65, because that number appears on the leaderboard in one scene yet there is no racer in cars 1 with that number
I Think For Clark Clankinstein’s Racing Number, It Should’ve Been Number 14 As A Reference To Valentines Day. Especially Since His Racing Sponsor Is A Dating Website. But You Don’t Need To Change It If You Don’t Want To. That’ll Be His Racing Number In My Headcanon.

The Spyder Dangerford here is a Coward when it comes to media attention, in my opinion he won the most indy 500s, In my opinion instead of him, Its Jeff Gorvette, whos sponsored by Varoom but still in the #24.
Carbon Cyber & Syner G most likely didn't exist during the first cars move and most likely emerged around the 2010's igntr was a new company probably created around 2014/15
Simple, SynerG, Carbon Cyber, IGNTR, Motor Oil and BnL didn't sponsor racers at the time, some were lower league sponsors, some were sponsors in another racing series, and some simply did sponsor anyone at the time.
